This is a reboot of my Nosh On This theme with new views, improved performance and a ton of platform category, platform and playlist images. Platform and game background videos are force enabled in the theme settings but you can change that if you like. There is more work I would like to do to the game views and that will be hopefully coming soon. Quick and dirty video of what you can expect below. You can either download the entire package which is currently 2.5gb or the no images zip that just contains the theme and download the clear logo, banner and device images separately from the links below. I created this videos for myself simply because I wanted only games that are in my collection to be included in the Platform Theme Videos. However, now that I finished them I thought maybe someone else would like them too! Please don't expect additional videos in the future because these are all the platforms that I have in my Collection and I don't plan to add any more. This video set is also available in 4:3 ratio here Also check out the original Nostalgia Set here by @viking and the Nostalgia additions Set here by @dragon57 // VIDEO // Arcade = 2 videos Handhelds = 6 videos Consoles = 14 videos Computers = 4 videos // INFORMATION // 16:9 format HD resolution: 1920×1080 MP4 format - H264 Codec - AAC audio - 30fps // PREVIEW // You can watch the YouTube playlist for all 26 videos here in 16:9 format. I figured I would try and intercept any confusion. We have to do a drive replacement on the webserver so it should take about 2-4 hours. EmuMovies should go offline around 1:30pm PDT and come back online no later than 5:30 pm PDT. This will also affect the FTP and Sync services as they will not be able to authenticate. I apologize for any inconvenience.

PCSX2 Configurator Next for LaunchBox PCSX2 Configuartor Next is a plugin for LaunchBox that allows users to easily configure PCSX2 on a per-game basis. The plugin also allows for pre-optimised configs to be downloaded from right within LaunchBox for a whole host of popular PS2 games, from Zombeaver's excellent PS2 Configuration Project. Installation The plugin is easy to install and simply needs to be downloaded and extracted. The archive contains a folder called "PCSX2 Configurator Next", this should be placed in the root of the "Plugins" in the user's LaunchBox directory. Any previous versions of the plugin should be removed before attempting to install this version. General Usage The plugin is relatively straight forward to use, but has been changed significantly from previous versions. You will first need to have PCSX2 (1.5.0 development build) setup as an emulator in LaunchBox. Then right click on a PS2 Game and choose "PCSX2 Configurator" from near the bottom of the context menu. This will present a menu of options: "Create Config" - Creates a new config for the game in question based on the users current PCSX2 settings, If a config already exists this will overwrite that config with a new one. "Download Config" - This will download one of Zombeaver's Config and set it up to be ready to play for the selected game, this will be greyed out if now config is available, and will change to "Update Config" if a new update is available for the downloaded config. "Remove Config" - This will remove the current config for the selected game, and will be greyed out if there is no current config. "Configure With PCSX2" - This will open PCSX2 with the config for the selected game loaded, allowing you to customise your config for the selected game (Downloaded Config's can also be tweaked). Once a game has a created config this can also be done using LaunchBox's built in "Configure" from the games context menu. Both these options will be greyed out if there is no config for the selected game. There is also a "settings.ini" file created in the plugins folder ("%LaunchBoxDir%/Plugins/PCSX2 Configurator Next"), this can be tweaked manually but most settings don't need to be touched in most cases. Some people may wish to change the "GameConfigsDir" which is where the created configs are stored, this deafults to the users PCSX2 "inis" directory. There is currently no inteface to modify these settings, but that is planned in a future version. Version Info and The Next in The Name This version of the plugin is the successor to the original PCSX2 Configurator plugin, with a completely re-worked codebase from that version, and full compatibility with LaunchBox.Next (which is now the current version of LaunchBox). The main reason "Next" was added to the name is to initially seperate it from that (now discontinued) verison of the plugin. This release is currently in Beta and the "Next" from the name will probably be dropped eventually for a stable release with more features. Credit and Support I have personally put a lot of time and effort into all versions of this plugin, with it essentially being my free-time pet project for the last year and a half. Though I know the plugin would not be what it is today without Zombeaver who really helped me to bring this plugin to the next level, by allow me to integrate his PS2 configurations into it as well as creating artwork and helping me test the plugin. I would also like to say a big thank you to spectral, neil9000, and kmoney for helping me out with testing, and of course Jason Carr for making LaunchBox and implementing some of my requested changes into the plugin engine. I intend to keep working on this plugin, and fix any reported bugs as well as update the plugin with new features. So if you have any problem or feature request's hop over to the plugins thread on the forums and let me know. The project is also open sourced under the MIT license and can be found on my github.

I noticed there was a lack of windows disc media, so I've uploaded 68 discs from my personal collection. Digital games with no disc I made it Photoshop. All images have already been uploaded to the Launchbox database for immediate download (or you can download the Zip and extract to your window games folder). Images have been uploaded in different dimensions, and all have been compressed (https://tinyjpg.com/). I have game snaps for all games as well and plan to upload them at a later date. I hope some of you find this useful.

Yeah it seems like Streamlabs OBS is having issues with Retroarch but the standard OBS is fine here. Capturing the Launchbox window though does appear to be a problem, capturing BigBox is fine though. Using the standard OBS not Streamlabs OBS Studio.

Thanks for the kind words and the show of appreciation. Knowing that the plugin is useful to someone, even if its just 1 or 2 people, is motivation enough for me 😄 Since it appears that at least a couple of you are eager to check out the new version, I think I'm going to change up my release plans a bit. Instead of stressing over getting the initial release as close to perfection as possible, I think I'm going to post a beta for those of you who are interested. @cammelspit has been doing a lot of testing for me, and he has had really good results thus far, with only a few extreme edge cases causing minor issues. I'm going to fix a couple of issues quick I've noted on my "to-fix" list, ask @cammelspit if there is any minor issues he thinks should be fixed before releasing a beta, and then I will compile a beta for you guys. It would actually be really useful to get feedback from y'all if you come across any problems, and it could potentially help make the final release that much more stable. I'll try my best to get the beta out for y'all in the next day or 2... maybe sooner. Thanks again for the interest and support guys.

Definitely plausible. I will be looking at getting this theme to officially support the changes made during the 9.4 update. I may look into a slight design change when I do.

Well I mean you eventually reach a point where it just doesn't make much of a difference. You can notice a decent amount of visual improvement (decreased jaggies) each 1x step up through 4x, but beyond that the improvement starts to drop off pretty dramatically, and you need MSAA at that point to make it look any better. This is on a 1080p screen, mind you. It might be more noticeable on a higher resolution screen, but at 1080p, 1-2x look quite bad. 3x looks noticeably better but still not great. 4x looks noticeably better than that. 5x+ you can take screenshots and go back and forth between it and 4x and have a hard time spotting any major difference. As far as being true of all systems, I mean yeah. At the end of the day you can only improve things so much - textures are static images and there are only so many polygons in models. Again though, that diminishing point is gonna vary depending on what you're viewing it on.

It's ok, Jason. :) I appreciate the reply anyway. I can run WiiU and PS2. WiiU runs ok but PS2 may need different settings to run better.

Summary of Cemu/LB Launch Issue Games with small shadercaches such as Shovel Knight and DuckTales Remastered launch perfectly fine inside of Cemu when RDTSC is enabled either through the options or game profile settings. Launching these games through LaunchBox however causes the games to crash. Solution: Edit game profiles of affected games, disabling RDTSC [General] useRDTSC = false I've included a log file of the crash from cemu. log.txt @Jason Carr Any ideas on this strange interaction?

Unified 1.2 released! The new version requires LaunchBox v9.4 or higher! Please check the Changelog for everything that has changed. This update is mainly focused on fixing/improving things. Originally, I planned to only release a new version of Unified when I have something big to show like new Views. But due to all technical changes that happened in the past half year to LB I had to release this smaller update now to make sure that everything works fine going forward. I’m also sorry to let you guys hanging for so long but the two big projects I did last year (initial Unified release & recording over 1000 new HyperSpin MAME themes) + my new daily job drained me so much that I had absolutely no motivation to work on any projects or being very active in the forums. The good news is that working in this update got me excited about theming again. Of course I won’t promise anything. I took a lot of inspiration from the Unified versions/modifactions that @Jason Carr, @RetroHumanoid and @bmonomad did. I want to thank them big time for their work! Especially RetroHumanoid took the Unified concept with Refried to a whole new level and made it his own! Also a huge shoutout to @dragon57 for creating the new Unified logo. Sorry that it took me so long to actually add it to the theme. Changelog: v1.2 - 02.13.2019 - requires LB v9.4 or higher - General: The Add-on package was merged with the main theme. All media is now included in a single package - Removed: The weather plugin by @Grila was removed as it's being broken at the moment - Removed: The HelperControl plugin was removed as its functions are now integrated in Big Box itself - Updated: The theme was updated and tested for the new theming engine changes in LB v9.4 - Updated: All backgrounds were converted to maximum-quality JPEGs; reducing their size drastically (thanks @JasonCarr for the tip) If you have added and/or renamed some background images before you have to convert them to JPEG as well! Sorry for the inconvinience - Updated: Some backgrounds were replaced with new ones (the old ones were moved to the "Alt" folder) (thanks @RetroHumanoid) - Updated: The TextList Games View now uses the normal Game Boxes element, which means that you can now switch there between the Image Types (and probably have to if you want to use 3D Boxes) -Fixed: Due to the above change does the "Flip Box" function now work again in the Games Details screen if you have "2D Boxes" selected as your current Image Type - Updated: The Main Menu and Option Views now feature custom artwork + there is finally a logo for the theme (in the style of the HyperSpin logo). Thanks @dragon57 - Updated: The size and position of the wheel was changed a bit. It's now farther away from the pointer and therefore it's not overlapping it all the time. Also it fades away more smothly now. - Updated: All Clear Logos, Boxart, Carts and Discs now have a slight Drop Shadow (thanks @Jason Carr) - Updated: The sizes of the Box and Cart/Disc Art were slightly changed throughout all Views - Fixed: Top bar modified to prevent triangle corner overlap issues (thanks @JasonCarr) - Fixed: The TextList list is now over the Platform/Playlist logo and doesn't get covered from very wide logos anymore. - Fixed: The Cart and Disc art now appear in higher quality - Fixed: The theme didn’t show the proper artwork for playlists in some cases - Added: A bunch of new icons were added/replaced (thanks @ bmonomad) - Replaced the icon for favorite games - New icon for completed games - The rating was replaced with star icons - Added: Logos and backgrounds for 3 new playlists were added. (thanks @RetroHumanoid) - Ball & Paddle Games - Maze Games - Multigame

Some early animation tests for this theme based on the Alaska Kodi skin. Please excuse the choppy video, my work computer only has integrated graphics and struggles to run BigBox and record simultaneously. And some static screenshots of one of the platform views that I have almost completed. Still have a few elements to add and some minor layout issues to address.

I think he means the built in autohotkey that is available in Launchbox. It is available in emulator setup but not on a per game setup. The emulator setup has a tab where you can directly enter an autohotkey script. Per game setup doesn't have this tab but it would be extremely helpful. I opened a ticket for this a while back. As you explained, you can create an autohotkey file and compile it as an exe and run that as an additional app to run before or after launching the game. It works, but its not as straightforward as editing an autohotkey script right in the game setup screen could be. If you think this should get some attention, vote on the ticket below. https://bitbucket.org/jasondavidcarr/launchbox/issues/1446/autohotkey-on-a-per-game-basis
