@lemoncadebay I see the problem. You have the check box ticked for Remember Separate View for Each Platform. This allows you to set each platform to a different view. Uncheck that box then try changing the views.

I'm not sure Parenthesis or brackets break the parser any more, dashes are to be avoided. Please don't migrate any games from any platforms they are in. If you believe it should also be in Arcade create them there as well but DO NOT move or delete games out of the approved Platforms. In many cases we have Launchbox branded videos on how to set platforms up, such as the Sammy Atomiswave video, if you remove them from the platform that video just became useless. Do know that it takes a lot to get a platform approved so if it is there, it is for a reason. If someone has taken the time to add casino and fruit games I say leave them.

The Community Theme Creator for BigBox is still in development and should be treated as an Alpha build, however it has enough features in place that would allow you to start building your own Themes. (Please see Pyramids by @Rincewind) As I have no documentation at this point, please visit my YouTube Channel as I demonstrate some of the various features. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCALHDoR8oQifl6sbIrdrW6w Installation 1. Download .zip file 2. Unblock (right click on the .zip file, select properties and click on Unblock) 3. Unzip where ever you like 4. Go to the unzipped folder and go to folder ".Install these fonts first to allow the demo theme to load correctly in the editor" 5. Install the 2 fonts (these are only needed for the included Theme) 6. Click on the "COMMUNITY Theme Creator for BigBox.exe" 7. Fill out the setup properties (userid / name and location of the BigBox.exe ) 8. Enjoy! FYI. If you wish to design a Theme in either 4:3 or 16:9 or any other aspect ratio then simply change your windows desktop settings to the desired resolution and open the editor.

***Updated with Volume 6 Williams Pack for Funhouse, Dr. Dude, and Space Station *** ======================================= This includes media for all 96 Pinball FX3 tables through Volume 5 released in December 2019. This pack includes: Clear Logo Docklet Gameplay Screenshot Full Table Gameplay Screenshot Background Pseudo-Backglass - I use these for Game Title snaps Advertisement - Front and Back (for the recreation tables only) I only made a few of the backglass/background images when no others were available. The rest are credited to others, gathered from Zen site, Steam, www.gameex.info pinballx media site, and around the web. If someone objects to an image they created being in this pack, let me know and I will remove it. For those that have two screen setups, then the images for the background on screen #2, named according to the PXP (Steam) file naming convention (which is not straightforward) are in the "Two-Screen Images - PXP Naming.zip" file. The Pinball FX3 Images.Zip file contains a zip of the Launchbox images folders. Within the folder structure they are as follows: Clear Logo = Clear Logo folder Docklet = Box-Front-Reconstructed folder Gameplay Screenshot = Screenshot-Gameplay Full Table Gameplay Screenshot = Screenshot-Game Select Background = Fanart-Background Pseudo-Backglass = Screenshot-Game Title Advertisement - Front and Back (for the recreation tables only) - Flyers folders If you want video snaps, you can find those here: Lastly this platform XML file contains data for each table, PXP name, year, manufacturer, brief description (usually from Zen site), and base information that would normally be downloaded from LB DB. NOTE: The XML file is now located with rest of image downloads. Just click "DOWNLOAD" button at top right, and it is the last entry.

Hello All, Here is the PopCap media pack I have been working on for a while. There are 46 games in total. I could not find any existing art or packs to make this look good in Launchbox so I created this one. I hope you like it. My photoshop skills are amateur at best but for me, this is better than nothing. Enjoy! Included: 46 3d-boxes 46 box fronts 46 box backs 46 clear logos 46 videosnaps 46 Disc Images I only made the box artwork. I did not make the logos or the videosnaps. I would give credit to who did but I have no idea who it was and can not remember where I found them. Not: The video snaps are in .flv format. Launchbox has no issues with them on my system. I hope they work for all! Examples:

Neo Geo v2 4K - Lights Out - Realistic Retroarch Bezels This is an upgrade to my previous Neo Geo bezels where I only used top or bottom strips, in this version I used as much instruction artwork from the mvs kits as I could possibly find including side art. Contains restored and translated artwork as well. This is part of the "Lights Out - Realistic Retroarch Bezels" series: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/1950-mr-retrolusts-lights-off-retroarch-bezels/ If you like these in Mame format go to: Mame 4K - Lights Out - Realistic Bezels ========================================== FEATURES - All in 3840x2160 pixels for high detail - 152 unique bezels ========================================== INSTALLATION The following steps are for users of 3840x2160 displays only. This setup will save you countless hours adjusting them yourself, but be sure not to rename any files or folders and follow below instructions. IMPORTANT: If you use another resolution you'll have to manually adjust the position and size of the game screen yourself. 1. Place the contents in the folder "RetroArch/config/FB Alpha 2012 Neo Geo" to the folder of the core that you use, as you can see I use the FB Alpha 2012 Neo Geo core. 2. Within this folder rename the following config file "SNK - Neo Geo" to the name of the folder where your NeoGeo games are stored. This file will automatically give all the NeoGeo games without artwork the generic bezel. 3. Place the contents from "RetroArch/overlays/_MR.RETROLUST/NeoGeov2" to it's like named structure within RetroArch. Done & Enjoy! \m/ ========================================== CREDITS Mr.DO: http://mrdo.mameworld.info/mame_artwork_ingame.php NeoGeosoft: http://www.neogeosoft.com

Just wanted to let you guys know I got the plugin fixed and 100% working with Steam stable and the Steam beta. I just need to cleanup my code a bit and compile a new release. I will try to get it pushed out later today (tomorrow for me.. it is 5am and I still haven't gone to bed) if possible.

Any chance you can share a link to that pack? I think I went through every inch of your gallery, and could not locate them.

I'm glad it's all working! And thanks for getting back. It definitely helps! I totally spaced on the need for fm7 right before the media type (-cass, -flop1.... ). Sorry about that. The cass1 comes straight from the hash file. Though now looking at the fm7 hash file, one spot shows 'cass1' and another shows 'cass'. Though MAME hasn't tested multi-image games for FM-7, I know some consoles need 'cass1', 'cass2' to load the different images. I'll take a closer look. But for now since cass1 works, maybe best for me to leave well enough alone. lol That tid bit about only needing to bulk edit the command lines for one of the sets is big forehead slap on my part. Again, sorry about that. 😊 Good call.

I think fanart "proof" may be onerous and unenforceable and rejecting if no sources given only makes sense if you can't find any info yourself. The good thing about the database is that eventually it will all come out in the wash. Mistakes made today, intentional, or through carelessness or inattention will be fixed eventually. I don't think we want to grind moderation to a crawl when often the best thing to do is work to help people attain the vision of the platform that they seek. When in doubt, with the exception of deletes, it might be best to trend towards saying yes in the majority of cases. I looked at the math at one point. I've moderated over 300,000 items, and I've said "No" around 6000 times and I think I'm relatively tough. Statistically that is a margin of error. I'm here to mostly make sure that someone doesn't go nuts deleting stuff and to try to catch the big stuff. Anything that tries to swing the pendulum too far in the other direction maybe isn't serving the folks that use the product in the best way. I don't want to be a petty dictator or part of a quorum of them. I'm not saying you are either, but rigid rules in a crowdsourced environment often leads to unhappy users and drives away those creative enough to make this all hang together and be beautiful. That said, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that still tries to abide by that set of guidelines and I salute you that you take them seriously.

I agree @DOS76. Since we don't have a separate section for the casino/fruit games, I will discontinue to request deletion. Thanks everyone for the clarification!
