mame64.exe - Normal Mame with Nags removed. For Version 0.220 mamearcade64.exe - Normal Mame with all Mess systems removed, and with NoNags Its recommended to download the full 0.220 official pack and install it, then just overwrite the exe with the replacment, this covers any changes the mame devs may have made to the support files. After you have done this, make sure you copy the folders artwork, ctrlr, cheat, hlsl, ini, folders and the mame.ini file from your original mame folder, and move/copy them to the new install. For those of you on old installs make sure

  3. Echo above and will add some comments based on experience I had dealing with this with a relatives "mess". They had good intentions (sick family member, surprise, believed the "all setup" advert, not a lot of time) but similar to your situation, it was far from plug in and fire up. A couple observations: Most of these folks are using older images and/or Frankenstein setups merged from a bunch of different drives. In most cases I would wonder if they even bothered to fire up the emulators at all because like you found, most were broken. In many cases, simple issues were the problem, bu

  4. Can not say I have ever had that happen. Just tested updating metadata/medua for a handful of games and some of them I changed to random emulators before I did to see if it changed. Mame is set as my default for Arcade so changed several games to Retroach and a couple to FBA and ran media updater. All games stayed what I changed them too and of course the ones listed as Mame stayed as well. This might be something you want to start a thread and troubleshoot.

A set of MSU-1 Covers, in the UGC format. *UPDATE* New V2 pack, all covers so far now in two seperate packs, Single case or Dual case, You can use one or the other, or if like me you can use both. The Reflection effect has been removed, this was asked for a few times.. 60+ cases had some changes made to the front covers using the correct MSU logo's ie, Super Famicom games now using a Super Famicom Logo instead of the Super Nintendo one. All cases to date are in these packs, and as far as im aware, this covers every game that has had an MSU-1 Patch. There ar

  6. Pinball Clear Logos View File If you are like me, and like to avoid using silver ring and docklets in your build then the following pinball clear logos maybe what you need. Pinball FX2 - Complete set. Pinball FX3 - Complete set. The Pinball Arcade - 165 logos. Future Pinball - 457 logos. I want to add, i did NOT create a lot of these logos, they are from various sources spread around the net, some are on LB's database, but i have yet to find them as a complete set, They may well exist on PinballX's private ftp, but as i have no acce

A simple startup and shutdown screen theme revolved around clear logos and fanart artwork, with a big progress bar on the bottom. (You need LaunchBox version 9.2 beta or newer for this theme to work). How to install and setup: - Download the zip file of the theme and extract it to LaunchBox's root folder. - Open LaunchBox, go to Tools --> Options, Click on the Game Startup tab on the left, then change the Startup Theme to Big Logo. Any feedback is much appreciated. Enjoy!

This is a complete Collection of 3D Boxes, 2D Carts and Logos for the Sega Mega Drive Europe Region. The set is named after the 2019 No-Intro Rom set. As a result of the naming convention used with No-Intro there will be some duplicate artwork with slightly different naming. The concept behind these No-Intro named packs is that the user can either have seperate systems with an entire library of artwork for each system or choose a region they would prefare and simply overwrite the region artwork that is not wanted as the artwork and roms will have the same names (for example: Japan, Europe), d

  10. Update 2017-01-12: From FS-UAE version 2.8.3 and later the "launcher app" is not necessary anymore: https://fs-uae.net/2017/01/08/fs-uae-2-8-3-released Update 2016-09-20: This solution now comes with a launcher to grant proper save state support as described in this post: --- Original post --- Hi all, as discussed here: I think I found a new method to integrate Amiga games via FS-UAE into Launchbox. The idea is to use FS-UAEs config database and it's unique IDs per game

This theme is a port of the HyperSpin Unified Widescreen Megatheme project, which was originally started by gibbawho and continued by many other talented artists over the years. It’s supposed to bring a unified look (hence the name) across all platforms while giving every platform it’s own individual touch. I’ve tried to stay very close to the original look and feel but also took some creative freedom, especially when it comes to the new fading info panel at the bottom of the screen. This theme was designed for 16:9 screens and display resolutions only. Big Box will automatically scale

  15. Hi Klopjero !! congratulations for your 3dbox, they are truly magnificent !! Absolutely the most beautiful there are! I wanted to ask you a courtesy, you made the images for all the ScummVM games, but incredibly missing the 3dbox for Blade Runner. Could you also make this 3dbox ??? It would be wonderful to be able to complete the whole collection using your 3dbox Thanks!!

  16. No, AHK just remaps keys. I leave my iPac in keyboard mode rather than XInput controller mode. This allows me to use both my arcade controls and a XBOX controller at the same time for one player. Also, Windows can take some time seeing the iPac change when switching input modes. Not a good end user experience for an arcade cabinet waiting for device manager to "catch" up.

  17. You cannot use Retroarch with the pinball setups. The graphic I had in my message is something I snapped out of my Pause screen setups. The logo is a "NO RA" logo meaning it isn't emulator using RA. Just my cryptic notes to self. The other one that Itchyrobot attached was just an RA mapping for the controller numbers that RA uses. VPX maps the same only it starts at 1 versus zero. He was just using that as a reference point, so can ignore the RA logos/references. Screen snap your controller setup so we can see what is going on. Is your controller working with other emulators? Work

  18. For what it's worth, this is how I have my Xbox controller to work with Joy2Key (see image below). It basically mimics the keyboard keys of my arcade controller shown above the Xbox controller. I know this can all be pretty confusing, when talking about mimicking key strokes, and understanding how some arcade controls are actually remapped keyboards. That's why I was a little hesitant to bring it up originally. Since I hardly ever use my Xbox controller to play pinball, I still have not researched how to make LaunchBox/BigBox automatically open/close Joy2Key only when I launch/close VPX tables

  19. @HutOnChickenLegsI understand the CD and 32X modules, but they already had standalone "platform" rings so that was where had lack of clarity. Anyway, this may be more applicable to your situation.

  20. A HUGE thank you to you for the support! 😘 Difficult for me to move forward with strict quarantine in France, but I do my best! There is a dark version for all GamesView, except the TextGamesView. Because there can only be one per theme. And yes, the TextGamesView and also the GamePlayOption view. Same file. The next step is to divide the theme into 2 separate versions: Light and Dark.

  23. I'm working with the same pattern. I could speed up a little Your work. Times ago I made file2folder alternative called files2folder. By using it You will get one folder with all the roms that varies by what is after (. So basically it will put in one folder called for example: Metroid all below roms: Metroid (USA).. Metroid (EUR).. Metroid (Hack)... Metroid (Beta)... I add this program as attachment. feel free to check it and good luck with Your collection. Files2folder.bat
