As of 30th September MAME has introduced the soft no-nag, so going forward, i will no longer release no-nags, as the soft version they have implemented is in my eyes a good compromise going forward. That being said i'm sure others will still want to remove the no-nag completely, and as such i suggest looking for MKChamp's diff files and compile your own version, or wait for someone else to release their version. -frontend: Added option to skip repeated imperfect emulation warnings. [Vas Crabb] * The option is called skip_warnings, and it must be set in ui.ini (it can be set using the internal UI). Red warnings cannot be skipped; yellow warning can be skipped under certain circumstances. * For a yellow warning to be skipped, the system must have been launched in a way that allows warnings to be displayed, in a configuration with the same set of devices flagged with unemulated/imperfect features, within the last seven days, and the warning must have been displayed within the past 14 days. Thank to all who have download the no-nags in the past. /K9

I have been heads down focusing on 1.0.9.0 which will introduce nested UI Elements, for those of you that have knowledge of XAML will understand what that means and hopefully understand what a challenge this is 🙂 but anyway... I am working on the visual side of things now and figured I'd give you a little sneak peek of what to expect.

Rogue Theme View File This theme is a take on the game Rogue Company, I just liked the way it looked while playing the game so made a theme based around it. I will add and tweak the theme over time but as it stands there are 2 Platform views, 2 Games views and the Settings view. ____________________________________________________________________________ Massive thanks goes to @y2guru for his amazing COMMUNITY Theme Creator for BigBox, without his work in creating this simple to use theme design program I couldn't have made this theme. Hi @Amber, Unfortunately this means that you were using a pirated or shared license. You can fix this by buying a legitimate license and replacing your current one inside the Launchbox folder.

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks @slickrickstyles and @DOS76; this should be fixed in the next beta, which should be out later today. Let me know if you're still seeing this after updating to 11.7-beta-3.

I'm pretty sure I have this fixed (the disappearing wheel issue) for the next beta. Should be out later today. This should be fixed for the new beta as well (should at least work as well as themes on exFAT work elsewhere).

Stop making multiple threads for related issues. I have combined your threads.

Glad you got it resolved man! I gotta agree.. while the plugin might not have an enormous user base, I think the ones we do have (especially those in this thread who go out of their way to help others when I can't answer immediately) are pretty awesome 🏆 And if you were referring to the LaunchBox community in general, ya.. they're pretty alright too Oh, and just an FYI to everyone waiting for the BigBox fix, I should have it posted shortly. I think I figured out how to resolve the problem without including an external dependency with the plugin.

@The_Keeper86, @Corgana, @mp3deej Just wanted to let y'all know I finally figured out the problem with BigBox. The issue was of course related to LB/BB moving over to .NET Core. More specifically, it was related to a dependency that my plugin relies on not being able to be loaded correctly. The reason it works fine in LB is because LB also relies on that same dependency. BigBox however does not list that dependency in its 'BigBox.deps.json' file, so whenever my plugin is loaded under BigBox, even though I have that dependency listed in my 'SteamLauncher.deps.json' file, it will throw an exception whenever it tries to load it. While I'm sure there is some way I could use the copy of the dependency that is packaged with LaunchBox, I'm concerned that it would just be moved to a different location or something in a subsequent LB update, so I will probably just include the dependency with the plugin going forward. Give me a little time to do a little more digging on the problem to see if I can't find a more elegant solution (I really hate including external dependencies with the plugin, if I don't have to, as I've worked very hard thus far to not do so). Either way, I will post an update here sometime tomorrow as it is already midnight.

I was under the impression a clean install of LB would be needed as well as the emulators. Good to know, Thanks. I have no clue what drive letters i was using. Is there a file in LB that would show that? Either way I'm glad that I wont have to download all that media again. Thank you for the reply.

You will need to do a fresh install for your emulators that are not portable. But if you use the same drive letter and folder structure as you had before (for LB and for your emulators [and roms for that matter]), you won't need to 'reinstall' LaunchBox. Just [re]use the one you have. But otherwise, Yes. Just copy the Images, Manuals, Music and Videos folder to your new installation.

I had some bad freezing from LB for a while and didn't know what it was turned out I had a bunch of bad sectors on the disk I had LB on. Not saying that is your issue but you may want to error check you disk by running a chkdsk /r command. Fair warning though depending on the size of your drive it could take a long time

Thanks Jason. I picked up two licenses to keep my conscience clear and to support development 👍

Just to clarify, you only need to purchase one license, and you can install it on as many machines as you own. The licenses that get banned for new versions are just the licenses that are distributed freely online.
