Hello guys. I joined these banners the internet and some I created. The idea is to use it as a Banner and the Theme that looks really cool is Retrotastic. All credits to the creators of these wonderful Icons. If the creator is in this Forum, please comment, that I update the post with the appropriate references.

  2. Sorry for the lack of new bezels like I used to release, I'm preoccupied with RL things. Hope to be on the old schedule again next week somewhere, I'll try to squeeze a bezel in between.

  3. Hi everyone, I made this theme mainly for myself (UI OCD), I wanted a simple Windows style PC gaming front-end look. But I’m unsure about releasing this because I don’t think I can get this beyond beta (XAML is not my thing) but I’m curious about your opinion. Screenshots: List mode: Details panel when no game is selected: Since there's no titlebar, top right buttons auto hide when details panel is hidden: ..but reappear on hover: All panels and button bar hidden: It has some additional configuration options and color styles support though XAML includes. I’m hesitant to release this because: -Code is a bit messy because I didn’t have any previous XAML experience and I rewrote a lot. -License is hidden when user hides the button bar, not sure if that’s allowed (according to Jason’s comment in the code). -Spend way too much time on this and I want to wrap this project up. Not sure if I can commit myself to maintaining the code other than a few tweaks. What do you think? Is it worth releasing in beta state? Btw. code is forked with permission from Grila’s excellent Plex theme which inspired this project. Additional notes: Top right image is 'Fanart' image. If disabled or unavailable title moves up. Font (style and size) is mostly based on system font for consistency. With a few exceptions because of font sizes but I might change that. Microsoft's "Segoe MDL2 Assets" font required because it's needed for the buttons. Not sure if it's installed by default on all Windows versions. Retro Achievements display untested. (I don't have a RA account.) "NAME PLAGEHOLDER" will obviously be replaced by real licensed user name. (It's only there now for screenshot purposes.)

  6. Sounds to me like a misunderstanding. Did you write what you were planning to do in the "Reason" field? I warmly recommend to use it to avoid any confusion. Sometimes it might be hard for moderators to guess if there's something not so obvious to everyone. Thank you for using your time to add missing backgrounds, they really make a difference especially in BigBox! One more thing on this background topic: I don't know who doesn't do it, but I would personally hope that backgrounds (and back/front cover arts for the matter) would be uploaded in JPG instead of PNG. Those are taking a huge amount of space right now - I'm talking about cases like 0,7MB versus 4MB per image. Screenshots and pictures with a "transparent background" (3D Boxes, logos, discs etc.) are those that really need to be PNG for good upscale and keeping the background transparent. JPG is fine with rectangle shapes otherwise

  7. The file you would want is \\Launchbox\Data\Platforms.xml. In the bottom of the file there are PlatformFolders tags with information on the platform, what the path is for, and where it points. You would change the path in those sections.

  9. Images, as well as mentioning the theme you are using would help us to troubleshoot here. Also you can check the below thread to see if its the same issue you are seeing.

  13. @sundogak Yeah I saw that, but to me I don't ever want to see the nag screens. This is a better compromise , but still not what I am looking for. I would prefer to see the screen 1 time and not see it again. So... i'm hoping some people still make the nonag.

This theme is not a drastic change from the default but I did change some things about Jasons default theme that did not suit my personal preference. I will no longer be updating this theme, I have no desire to try and keep up with changes Jason makes or new features added. So if anyone wishes to take this theme and release they are free to do so. *Requires 8.6 Beta 1 or newer Things I changed: Reduced vertical space between platform names. Shifted platforms text slightly left. Removed gap at the bottom of the Game Details panel. Removed gap on the right hand side of the Game Details panel. Shifted scroll bar in the main game window closer to the Game Details panel. Reduced font size of "Platform Name" at the top of Launchbox. Reduced the space between the top of box art to the top of the Launchbox window. Adjusted the "Platforms" panel dropdown menu so that it shows all entries without having to scroll. Enlarged the vertical and horizontal scrollbars in List View. Reduced the vertical space between the games in List View. Reduced the height of the column headers in List View. Install instructions: Copy the Bad Old Monkey folder into your \LaunchBox\LBThemes folder. In Launchbox Options > Visuals choose the Bad Old Monkey theme from the dropdown menu and restart Launchbox. If anyone applies the theme and it does not seem to work, try this: In LB, change theme to Default. Exit app. Delete the current Bad Old Monkey theme folder entirely. Download the latest zip from the theme download page. Extract the new Bad Old Monkey folder into the LBthemes folder. Open LB again and change theme to bad old monkey. After relaunching app, it should work correctly. Spacing settings I use in Launchbox: Horizontal Spacing 5 Vertical Spacing 5 Horizontal Padding 5 Vertical Padding 5 Text Spacing 2 Text Lines to Show 2 Aspect Ratio 0.65

  15. To start off first you'll need to download TypeXtra, which is the easiest loader to use with Launchbox. Download here:https://magoarcade.org/wp/typextra/ Google thinks it is a virus, but it is not. Make sure you add it as an exception in your antivirus. Once you have opened it click OK on the 2 messages that show up. Then skip through the Getting Started parts. Now TypeXtra will ask you to select your game folders. Click add and then select your Taito Type X and Nesica game folders, which should each have a folder containing each game. Once you are done, click the Autoscan ROM Folders button(icon with a folder and plus). Wait a few minutes. TypeXtra will scan through your game folders to find games. This will also tell TypeXtra which games work and which don't. Now click the Setup Games button(syringe button). This will hack your games so they work on Windows with TypeXtra. You should see all 3 checkmarks on the games you imported once it is finished. After that click the Update Database button(folder with magnifying glass) which will update your games databases. Now you need to test your games. To launch games click the play icon. Sometimes you need to add/remove certain dll files, while other times you need to enable hacks in settings. Finally click the Settings(gears) button, and go to Shortcuts. Under Save To click on the button with the 3 dots. Make a folder where you will store your Shortcuts. Choose the folder, click Done and then click on the Create Shortcuts button(folder with arrow) and wait a few minutes as shortcuts are being created. Once shortcuts are finished being created, exit TypeXtra and open Launchbox. Drag your Taito Type X shortcuts to Launchbox to import them. Once your Taito Type X shortcuts are imported, select your Nesica shortcuts and import those as well. Make sure you scrape your Nesica games as Taito Type X games because TTX games do not have a platform in Launchbox. Thats it! The confusion is over! Enjoy!

  16. Ah gotcha. Your post was a bit confusing as you mentioned "favorites section" which led me to think a favorite playlist as I did not consider them just showing up first as an actual section. If you have the check box ticked to show "Favorited Games First" you can remove that to keep them in alphabetic order. You cannot have them show first and in alphabetic order. You can keep them in name order in the platform and create a "Favorites" playlist. You can make an "All Favorites" and also make platform specific favorites playlists if you so choose. If you want to get rid of the favorites flag just highlight all your games right click and bulk edit. Choose "Favorite" option and leave the Value box unchecked. When you finish the wizard it should unfavorite everything.

I have had this one on the back burner for awhile and decided to finish version 1.0 for release. Presenting Aamber Pegasus Media Pack… I did take artistic liberties as little to no resources are available. (I believe the final product will brighten up the Aamber Pegasus section in Launchbox). I want to thank Philip Lord from http://www.neoncluster.com providing me with a Hi-Res shot of the EPROM I could use to base my Vector drawing. Included Default Screenshot 19 Fanart Clear Themed Logos (Black) 19 Fanart Clear Themed Logos (White) 19 Fanart Clear Themed Logos (Special) 19 Fanart Box Fronts Aamber Pegasus used 6 EPROM banks to contain multiple language environments, games and applications The system also used cassette for some software. Some of these releases are lost to time but as they become available I will add media assets to future releases. 19 Fanart EPROM Images (Can be used as a replacement for Tape Media) 19 Screenshots 7 Manuals ~ Lassiveran
