Happy Christmas or Yule brothers! Arcade 3D Boxes 2.0 Important: Press follow button in the upper right corner to get notified for any future updates to this project, future updates to this page will not be pushed to the "What's New" section. I was inspired by the Mame 3D Boxes by @Robin55 and @Reevesad and the work by @spycat and @MadK9 At first I experimented to convert Robin's work to a darker color as it fits my dark colored setup better, one thing let to another and was helped enormously by @Robin55 in the process of automation and more, if it wasn't for all his help and work this project wouldn't have happened, thanks again so much brother! \m/ The 3D boxes are mostly for the Mame set (could include other emulators as well) but only includes Arcade video games, no pinball, fruit machines and such. Features: Covers based on official flyers, instruction flyers or fan art, customized official artwork and more. I've hunted down previously artwork missing from databases and/or very rare flyers, original resolution of these images can be low some times. Each box has a logo for the game, if it was missing I've hunted it down or extracted it from images (I upload these logos to the database as well) Each box has a logo of the company that either developed or published it (some flyers may have a different publisher from another region, bit confusing at times) Each box is manually color corrected, cleaned and optimized Some games have a second alternative version, made from cabinet side art, marquees or from a different region for example More packs (5 packs total: FGHIJK, LMNOP, QRST, UVWXYZ) are coming in 2019, missing 3D boxes will be released later through update packs. Please remember if you miss boxes to also check the naming convention of the file and if it is the same as the most recent version in the database. Any entry with "The" in front (Like The Astyanax) will be included in the QRST pack. Hope you like Credits Thanks go out to anyone contributing and making art for the launchbox games database. Thanks for any help, encouragement and advice: @Robin55 @spycat @MadK9 @Reevesad @Jason Carr @Kondorito @zetec-s-joe @Fablog @andyco47 @mikty Special thanks to: @neil9000 and @Retro808 for those logistics \m/

A simple startup and shutdown screen theme revolved around clear logos and fanart artwork, with a big progress bar on the bottom. (You need LaunchBox version 9.2 beta or newer for this theme to work). How to install and setup: - Download the zip file of the theme and extract it to LaunchBox's root folder. - Open LaunchBox, go to Tools --> Options, Click on the Game Startup tab on the left, then change the Startup Theme to Big Logo. Any feedback is much appreciated. Enjoy!

Second stab at a theme. This one will use a static background image for each platform when a game is launched. So it does not use fan art from each game. The images are those supplied in the BigBox Unified and Unified Redux themes. So I claim no credit to any images. I only copied them over from those themes. Credit to @Jason Carr and @CriticalCid for those themes. I claim no credit to any artwork displayed or included in the theme. If you know the creator please mention so I may credit. IMPORTANT: Launchbox 9.2 or higher required for Startup Themes. Version 1.0.0 Startup Theme: has a header style framed banner that will display "Now Loading..." (text color does change by platform. I used common brand colors or as close to), the game's clear logo, and the platform's clear logo. Main field will display 3D Box, Screenshot, and Cart or Spinning Disc (for CD based games) are in the main view. IMPORTANT: Make sure you set your image priorities in Launchbox for these categories. Also set backup images in case you are missing image types for a game. Shutdown Theme: uses a static image in its current default state with the words "Thank you for playing..." displayed. You can use any static image you want. However, please note the text in the default one is scaled to a size to fit in the background image's marquee. There is an alternate Shutdown xml file that will be pretty generic. The Shutdown text in that one is in the middle of the screen and would be better for those preferring their own image. There are read me files in the folders with simple steps to change the shutdown. If you prefer use the game specific backgrounds and games images in the shutdowns I will be uploading a version of this theme that will use the game fanart backgrounds. Installation: 1. Download the Framed Platform_Static Background v1.0.0.zip file and unzip it into the Launchbox\StartupThemes\ folder. 2. Install the supplied font. 3. In Launchbox go to Tools>Options>Game Startup and choose the appropriate named theme. I will be adding more platform xml files in an update after the holiday. There is probably about 100 in there now.

Hey Guys, I Was tired of the Potato Quality for my Wii collection, so started making Higher Quality Images unfortunately high res images are not always available so have had to use NTSC and PAL to get the higher image quality, even when high quality items were available from Launchbox i still changes them so that the transparency and centre disc item is the same for all discs Included is the Wii Disc Template so that if you prefer to source your own images you can do so with Photoshop, Ruler lines and Layers Make it Rather easy Currently there are 110 images

WootLauncher provides game load/exit screens, bezels/overlays and a pause menu with built-in PDF viewer for manuals, as well as support for emulator savestates and images to remind users of emulator control mappings. I looked into using RL but didn't feel like going through the trouble of setting it up, so I instead ironically went through loads of trouble creating this plugin. It's not meant to do everything RL does (caveat: I've never used RL), but maybe it does enough and you'll find it useful. It's designed to be easy to setup but also quite customizable. It will not support all emulators but should support "enough"; tested with RetroArch, MAME, Dolphin, Demul, and PCSX2 which I think are the more common ones used (anyway what I use). It should work with other emulators, too. The PDF bundled with the download describes how to quickly setup and also how to customize ... so I'll not repeat that here. You can also download the PDF guide separately. Please use the support thread if you have any questions or spot bugs. When reporting issues, supply the log file and any relevant screenshots to help troubleshoot. It's worth mentioning this is not compatible with the new built-in game startup screens for LB/BB, and it likely never will be as it uses a different window management strategy. Absolute requirements for using WootLauncher are: 1. LaunchBox / BigBox version >= 9.2 2. Disable the built-in LB/BB game startup screens (which are present as of 9.2) 3. Do not try to use both RL and WootLauncher; it will not likely work 4. Configure your emulators to run in windowed mode NOTE: If criteria 1 and 2 are not met, the plugin will simply disable itself.

This is a ScummVM discs pack that goes along very nicely with Klopjero's 3D boxes REDUX set. Bear in mind that even though they have LaunchBox nomenclature for their naming, a lot of these files could not match the ones in your set, as ScummVM has different naming conventions. I am adding in here a clear disc (named #Base.png) for anybody to add any clear logos they want. Enjoy! Example: In action:

This is an almost complete collection of 3D Boxes for the Sega Mega Drive European Region. 6 boxes are missing as I can not find covers for them. For those that don't know there was just over 540 games released in the European Region for the Sega Mega Drive and over 700 for the Sega Genesis. Unfortunately I do not know whose template I used to make these boxes, it is the same template used for the Genesis Boxes. The naming convention is ReDump. LIST OF GAMES COVERED:

So took a stab at editing the default theme to tinker a little to learn and see what I can accomplish. It was pretty fun attempting and the trial and error kept my up late a couple nights. Here is what I came up with. Remember I am not a coder so if anyone peaks at the xml file and sees some fixes or a better way please let me know. I am all ears. Thanks @neil9000 for the inspiration as it was your 3D version I modified. Thanks to the other theme developers as it was your codes in your themes I looked over to see how things work. Thanks @Jason Carr for giving me something to tinker with on a daily basis. I claim no credit to any artwork displayed or included in the theme. Any images included were taken from Google and if you know the creator please mention so I may credit. IMPORTANT: Launchbox 9.2 Beta 1 or higher required for Startup Themes. Version 1.0 Startup theme moves the clear logo to the center with the "Now Loading..." offset to the left. 3D Box, Screenshot, and Cart or Spinning Disc (for CD based games) are in the main view. Shutdown theme uses a static image in its current default state with the words "Thank you for playing..." displayed. You can use any static image you want. Simply choose your image and place it in the Launchbox/StartupThemes/Center Logo/Background folder and name the file Default.jpg You can edit the shutdown text and color by editing the Default Shutdown.xml and looking for the following section: <TextBlock Text="Thank You For Playing..." Foreground="Aqua" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" FontSize="80" FontStyle="Italic" FontWeight="Bold" Typography.Capitals="AllSmallCaps" /> If you prefer use the game specific background and games images in the shutdown simply open the Alternate XAML folder then copy the Game Specific.xml and paste it into the root folder renaming it Default Shutdown.xml. In the Alternate XAML folder is the Game Specific.xaml and the Static Image.xml to keep as backups. Installation: Download the Center Logo.zip and unzip it into the Launchbox/StartupThemes folder. In Launchbox go to Tools>Options>Game Startup and choose the appropriate named theme. If you need to add other disc based systems to the startup theme simply copy any cd based xml file in the theme's folder and paste into the same folder then rename the file exactly as your platform name appears in Launchbox.

Important: You will need Launchbox 9.2 Beta 1 or above in order to use this Startup Theme!!!!!! Version 1.0.2: I have increased the image sizes and included some more CD based systems in the folder. Version 1.0.3 New: Moved images around and added two new ones. There are now three images on the top row from left to right, 3D Box, Clear Logo, Screenshot. The bottom row will have in the bottom right either a Cart Front or spinning disc depending on the system. If you have a disc system i have not included you can just copy/paste one of the existing disc system xaml's and change the name to match your system. V 1.04 New: Added shutdown screen. Important: Launchbox 9.2 Beta 4 or above is required for V 1.04 and above. Simply unzip the downloaded file to Launchbox/StartupThemes, and in Launchbox go to Tools/Options/Game Startup and use the dropdown to select the theme. This was tested at 1080p resolution, i can not guarantee it will work at other resolutions.

Happy New Year!! Arcade Fans, in this pack i'll share the wheels and videos for the new games supported in MAME, corresponding to 0.201 till 0.204 version. New supported games: - Evil Night (ver UBA) * - Magic Purple - Pastel Island (Japan, prototype) - Total Vice (ver EBA) * - Tobe! Polystars (ver JAA) - Venom & Spider-Man – Separation Anxiety (SNES bootleg) *Sorry, but Evil Night and Total Vice doesn't have video because they have a very low frame rate so I consider they are unplayable yet. Please subscribe to my Youtube Channel! My work blends a few influences relevant to the platform while showcasing the machine itself along with the games the platform ran: 1) Music made using sounds available on the platform (where possible) 2) The platform's boot screen (if possible) 3) Commercial influences usually in the form of the platform's marketing jingle. 4) The platform's packaging. In this way, the platform video itself gives an accurate interpretation of what the platform is, was marketed as, and what it looked and sounded like. In this video, the beginning displays a blue screen followed by a flicker/jitter common when starting a GX4000 game. An animated box art screen follows which slowly transitions into a 3D interpretation of the space pilot art followed by a Star Wars inspired jump into hyperspace to reveal game play footage.

This file contains the complete cover set for all Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) games released in the United Kingdom Region and in the EU cover variant. All files have been collated by myself from the various repositories on the Internet and have been retouched where required and resized to uniform ratio. The quality does vary between the covers based on the source files available but images are scaled to the best quality size available. Image sizes in the pack are: 500x725, 750x1087, 1000x1450, 1500x2147, 2000x2900 If you are aware of better quality variants of the covers in this pack please let me know and I will update the pack as required. It should be noted that all are the original covers with the exception of Lethal Enforcers 2 which I could not find a high enough quality version of and so I have adapted the US cover to the EU style box to make this a complete set.
