Tried this last night with a PS5 controller which isnt Xinput so had to use DS4Windows which worked fine except for your controller will always show up as second player, because mame still sees the first player as your "Real" controller and not the fake Xbox controller DS4windows is simulating. DS4windows website recomends using HidHide to hide the real controller, but dont do it. After uninstalling HidHide it will render your USB keyboard and mouse "Hidden" and unusable and seems to happen to other people based off their GitHub page. I had to boot in safe mode and use a restore point to gain access to my USB peripherals again. So, Just a heads up that DS4windows will work for your PS5 controllers if you dont mind being 2nd player, but dont install HidHide.

sometimes when backing out of a platform's game view the image that usually fades away after a few seconds wont disappear and the platform video plays behind the image never showing. 

Also is there a way to just skip those images from showing before the platform videos or at lease not showing for so long?

The Plugin no longer works as of this week ?. I Tried copying in a new version of the latest update as well which didn't help. i'm running the newest version of launchbox (Not the beta version). i just get this error now....

yeah i also would love if this could add the release date from the nfo file as well as keep from adding the same artwork for both movies.

I get this error every time i try to add a game which includes a RELEASE DATE. THIS ERROR ONLY HAPPENS on games which date is set to anything 1/1/XXXX so basically January 1st of any year. 

 

(Also on a side note it would be great if Compilation could be added to the list of genres because any game which i have listed as such messes up as well because its not currently an option on the website. Not really sure where to post that though)
