Edit- I see you just edited your post 👍

Excellent tool! I will add that Picodrive recently added support for .chd as well (I was the one who did the pull request to update their docs on GitHub). So for anyone who was holding out because of this obscure corner case (a whopping grand total of six games), that means Sega CD 32X games are finally playable in .chd format.

  2. @Jason Carr I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but for the last year now, I have noticed that I can download every other Colorful 4K video except the pinball ones using LaunchBox’s “Platform/Playlist/Category Theme Videos…” I can only see the HD versions of the pinball videos (Category and Platform) available. Every other category released to date is available in 4K except the pinball ones. The thing is, I can manually download the 4K versions of the pinball video here or from EmuMovies but they don’t seem to be accessible using LaunchBox’s automated tool for pulling down these videos.

Yes, I think this is a long standing issue with the center text list plugin. From my understanding it happens when you switch to a new theme that utilizes it within the platform filter list, the first item doesn't load quite right, and you would need to change to another item for Big Box to fully load. With only ScummVM in your library, you can't switch to another platform, and therefore you are stuck. If you crash Big Box and come back into it, you should be fine. You could also add some more platforms as well :)

Either way, the center text list plugin is definitely something that should be looked into at some point in the future, as many themes use it.

    Please see above. Thanks!

From what I'm reading this is a third party plugin a theme uses. We could look into the possibility of integrating what that plugin was built to do inside of LaunchBox, but we can't really do anything to correct logic in some one else's plugin. If you are hoping we look into doing what the plugin does natively I would suggest using the "Request a Feature" link in the "Help & Support" link at the top of the web page to create a ticket for us about it. It would give us far more visibility to the issue than a comment here will.

Thank you for the thorough explanation and kind clarification about the source author of this plugin. I am not personally involved in the development here, so I was operating on the assumption that theme author was implementing coding interfaces that are included in and maintained by LaunchBox. @faeran, since this is a third-party plugin and not one that LaunchBox themselves maintains, who is the author that would need to be contacted to patch this bug?

Thanks for letting me know. I was able to reproduce this issue and I've released a new version of the theme on the forums.

Can you download it and let me know if the issue has been fixed on your end?

Will check soon. I had a similar bug when I had only one platform added.

Windows 7 isn't a supported operating system by either Windows or us. The last version we have that we can confirm will work with Windows 7 is 11.2. This theme utilizes logic implemented in 11.10 and so I have my doubts you will be able to run it on Windows 7. That being said I'm fairly confident the issue you and @Hifihedgehog are reporting is not caused by .NET dependencies.

Thanks. I am running Windows 10 so it would appear that at least my issue, while similar to @Tityo78's, is OS agnostic.

I think there may be a bug. I am getting this strange screen whenever I switch from the settings section to the front-end of BigBox. It is also stuck as soon as I get caught in it and I have to forcibly close BigBox from task manager. Otherwise, it seems to be working well if I avoid traversing from settings to the front-end:

I figured out when and where this bug occurs. The specific situation is when you have just one and only one system installed. Also, to add, the bug occurs after you have traversed one level within settings->then you go back to the main area->then you go back once more back to the main menu. Very peculiar bug, I must say. For 99% of folks, the bug will never show but if you have just one system of games and notice this behavior, that is why.

    Does this also copy videos?

    No, but @sdetert's does:

I modified the file so that it would insert the XML for the video paths/names.  Seems to work, tested it on Atari 7800.  I am sure there is a more eloquent way to do it, but like I said it works.  If anyone is interested I attached it below.

  11. Thanks so much for this marvelous theme. It matches perfectly with Arctic Zephyr in Kodi. I noticed one minor mistake: the Sega Genesis's 4K platform video has a red background while the theme shows a green color for the menu. Could you match the colors for Sega Genesis?
