It all began a long time ago in a far away place... JK

 

Hardware Specs

• Intel i9-9900k
• ASUS TUF Z390-PRO GAMING
• 32GB Hyper-X DDR4 @4GHz
• MSI RTX2070
• Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB m.2 SSD - C:\
• Samsung 860 EVO 1TB m.2 SSD - D:\
• Crucial MX500 1TB SATA SSD - E:\
• Western Digital Red 3TB SATA HDD - F:\
• Western Digital Red 3TB SATA HDD - G:\ - LaunchBox installed here
• Mapped SAMBA share (Z:\) 49TB
• Mapped SAMBA share (Y:\) 58TB
• LSI dual 10Gb SFP+ NIC with bonded Nokia SFPs
• a partridge in a pear tree

Situation

• Began with an older version of LaunchBox maybe 11.??
  • everything worked fine
• Started downloading update to latest version
• Windows crashed due to video card failure
  • found card slightly out of it's slot, fixed and rebooted
• LaunchBox is still working fine
• Downloaded and Successfully installed update to latest version (automagically)
• LaunchBox crashes every time on startup with this same message
• Uninstalling and reinstalling LaunchBox fixed it for me.
