Ok, that made me check my wireless Logitech keyboard (K400r) and its F1 key is shared, the F1 is coloured blue and you have to press and hold the FN key that key which is located beside the Windows key.
I loaded up a game in Retroarch is just pressing F1 on its own simply minimized RA but pressing and holding the FN key and then pressing F1 while FN is held brought up the RA menu. Of course this is with the default settings of RA so make sure yours is still set that way.

googled it and it seems like there might be a software from them that can reprogram it removing their stupid key function.

Yah probably something stupid like that. Gonna look for a better wireless keyboard needed one anyway.

Well guess I unintentionally found the answer to my issue. I tried F1 on my wired keyboard out the square on the key. And it works guess it's my strange Microsoft wireless keyboard that has been messing with me for so long ?.

By the sounds of it something extremely weird and out of the ordinary is going on.
As far back as the Retroarch tutorial Jason did. I can remember not being able to use F1 for the menu.
guess i just stopped trying
wonder if its my keyboard I just realized F1 has this weird picture that my old wired doesn't.

@CriticalCid I just wanna say what you did with the wall view is amazing.
The view never really appealed to me until now
..
Maybe this is something that goes across all themes (cant remember) but i feel lie i have seen it before. Maybe i am just noticing because the theme is so good it made me see the little things. but console and handheld game count says 0.

Personally I just stick with the default "F1" to bring up the menu.
F1 has never worked for me i think because windows uses it .
when i tap it minimizes everything and shows me my desktop.

In RetroArch I use the M keyboard key to bring up the core menu. In works in all other tested cores but not here.
It is set in this core as well
has anyone ever seen this happen before?

This is absolutely lovely
and it seems to work almost perfectly on my 4k screen which the original Nox theme unfortunately didn't.
Only small issue is when I'm on a platform in the horizontal view it zooms in a little to much so the platform clear logo gets cut off just a little bit. This is probably something you were aware of but I thought I would mention it.
but really that seems to be the only little thing that appears to be a 4k issue ?.. Maybe I could reduce or remove the zoom effect?

It seems to be fixed. But look at first it's giving me strange ratings then when I fill it out completely it fixes it self and gives full and half stars.

@Jason Carr just did a update to get updated star values. But it seems to be going infinitely on finishing up. It's not frozen but keeps going.

Own it and it's amazing. It really works and for me the controller is 50% of the nostalgia feeling playing Snes with a Xbox or PS controller is just wrong.
Super happy to see better Retroach support.

Well I already feel like a monkey these days. Sure I can monkey around for a bit but I don't know blade runner well not sure if I can spot the little things.

4. Run the setup batch file.
5. Sit and wait a while, the setup does a lot of creating etc

Hey all i just got the exo game set. and i remembered talk about some collaboration between @Jason Carr and @eXo now looking at the many post here. i got the impression it was done ?. so how do i go about importing and does anyone know of a good guide on learning to emulate dos/using dosbox. its all very new to me
