I need something like this. I have tons of photos to backup. Are personal information normally safe on these sites? I have some I need to save.

i felt safe with SOS but its a good idea reading the terms before signing up.

  3. I had SOS Online Backup for years now unfortunately their unlimited plan is gone and I can't find an alternative. Bkackblaze, Carbonite are both only storage,  but if you delete files locally they will be deleted from their servers.

That doesn't feel very comforting to me.

Was SOS really the only ones with unlimited archive backup.  Then again maybe they had to stop for some reason ?

  4. I don't know but I need to have everything ? plus with most systems this approach has led me to find new games also for systems I had as a kid like the Snes.   Speaking of full set's out linking to piracy of course does anyone have a led on one for Dreamcaat or maybe a text listed off all the games.

  5. Question not sure if this is a feature implemented out me noticing or a glitch. But I started importing the USA games for a system, then I added the European games but only one is added it seems to be the one not in the USA collection.

Does LB only import one region version?  I actually like it because then I won't have to make folders with exclusives.

Nice like I have set up in Kodi.  So it uses images or videos?

OK tested it out not exactly what I was hoping for :)  any chance of a traditional Screensaver that could go through images.  Not sure if there's a bit bucket ticket for this.

Yes, sort of. It will automatically and randomly browse through your collection after a certain period of inactivity.

Also, I ended up adding a number of non-MAME arcade platforms to the LaunchBox Games Database, as we already had been doing. I'm slowly warming up to renaming Arcade to MAME, largely because Arcade just doesn't make sense. I don't like creating platforms based on emulators, but I think it might be best to just deal with it in this regard to reduce confusion and duplication. Thoughts?

Before I rename it though I really need to implement that "don't change platform when downloading metadata and images" thing.

Awsome i actually made a request for adding a smaller less popular system I don't even remember what it was now something with little to no emulation.

But the database is so much more, could be Awsome seeing more systems added.

yes, when the next official update will be online, I'll make new versions pre organized. Don't worry, it's already working on my computer. :) It's just a matter of time ;)

Awsome absolutely Awsome.  The work your doing is much appreciated by everyone I would think it's safe to say.

I made another gif today, the Game Boy one. Not very inspired but I've got more than 40-50 systems to cover... So, let's move to the next one .
Search sprites takes longer than make the gif, lol.  Now, we've got two or three months of work i guess. Maybe less if someone want to help :D (800x450 pixels. I use Adobe Animate + import and export in Photoshop).

Here's a video (stuttering is from the video):

So cool.  But if you're still thinking about making a complete download with all stuff in its own folders pre organized.  I think I'll wait for that.  I'm ashamed to admit it ? but I got confused with the current way.

The really nice backgrounds you see with the cover art and large console are 1 custom "fanart" picture that the theme creator made. In the downloads section you download those images and put them in the correct folders.

You don't need to download the console images. Just the pictures "bg+system.zip" and put each image in the correct "fanart" folder for the platform.

really? ok so the console is on the wallpaper
