  1. On my old computer I had a UI for MAME that shows which roms are working which need a CHD and had different colors for what works and what has a missing file. The icons looks something like a game cartridge if I remember right. I thought it was MAMEui64 but that looks wrong and I can’t understand it. Is there another MAME UI that I’m forgetting?

  2. I was just wondering if it was worth it going from the 204 rom set to whatever the newest one is? It's been probably 2 years or more since I downloaded 204. Do They ever add any games worth playing that weren't in a previous version?

  3. @neil9000 So I setup Dolphin and Citra like you did with a standard version and a 3D version. I was showing it off to my Niece and Nephew and they were having so much fun playing Gamecube games. Windwaker looks cool but I hate that the camera movement is inverted. I also need to figure out a good placement of the dolphin bar for when I want to play shooters in 3D and need it.

  4. Since I made this thread I ended up with a build that put my OS on an SSD and have a 4TB HDD for all my games. My LB library is huge now, something like 1.5-1.6tb's and 700+gb's is because of PS2 games alone. I recently got a new computer for VR games and the case is such crap that when my LB library first loads the HDD sounds like a wood chipper. If I remove the drive from the case it's a lot quieter but still noticeable noise since it's loading the library. I wanted to use the 1TB drive I mentioned in an earlier post that I still have but like I said my LB library is almost 2TB's now and that doesn't even include my Steam and Oculus library that's not even fully loaded on this new computer yet. I guess I just need to figure out what I want on which drive at this point.

  5. I've seen you tube videos where people play non VR games on their VR headsets using Virtual Desktop. I've even heard of people Using Launchbox to play their games on the VR headset. I think it would be cool if you were able to play Wii games using the VR controllers instead of having to face your screen where the dolphin bar is the VR headset could track the controllers and know what you are pointing at. I know it would be hard to use a real Wii controller so probably a bunch of Wii games wouldn't be able to play. But at least shooters should be able to work.

  6. I like using the xbox controller for most emulators but was wondering if there was a bluetooth or wireless version of the N64 controller and Gamecube controller? Would a ps4 controller work for ps1 and ps2 games? I'm fine using the xbox controller for NES, snes, genesis, and MAME. but once you have weird layouts like the N64 and gamecube controller I hate not having the real thing.

  7. I'm using Dolphin 5.0-9616 The settings were pretty much left the way they were.

Launchbox and Big Box Startup was left at Default with 1 second minimum Startup and shutdown display time

I'm not sure what you mean by drivers.

As for my System I'm running Windows 10 version 1809. I have an EVGA GTX 970 graphics card. Intel 4790k cpu

    Hopefully this information will help

  8. I forgot to grab my Dolphin settings but @Jason Carr seems to be right with what he posted in that other thread. The issue  for my system or setup seems to be with the shutdown part of the new startup feature. But only on the Big Box side. In Launchbox itself it exits just fine. I'll do some more testing later when the wife and kids aren't bugging me to watch tv since we're having a snow day today here in Maryland.

In your Launchbox\Updates folder you should see prior versions. You can install from there. It will not mess with your current settings. Just be mindful how far you go back since they may not support some newer features. But your settings otherwise should be fine.

    What issues are you having?

I have standalone Dolphin for Wii and GameCube. I haven't tried GameCube but with Wii if I exit a game in BB the screen turns black and nothing happens. I  Ctrl alt delete to bring up the task manager and nothing pops up, but I can log out and then back in. If I open a game in LB things work fine. I did update Dolphin to the newest version which was 3 days old yesterday. It worked just fine and I played a game and it exited just fine. Then I turned off my system. Later in the day I went back to playing a game and when I was done playing through big box it froze again. LB works fine though. Also if I open Dolphin outside of LB things work fine. It just seems to be an issue with BB.

You can roll back your LB install by running the previous update that should be in your |Launchbox\Updates folder.

You can turn off updates in the options.

Lordmonkus or anyone else here. How do I rollback and keep all my current settings? I'm having an issue with Wii and I want to check if a previous version works.
