  1. Nice work! Seems a few of the themes I downloaded had some sound issues... Dracula X has no sound and I believe Castlevania Legends has some audio issues as well. Can anyone else confirm if they're having any sound issues?

  2. Excuse the double post but I forgot to mention that I do plan to add more themes to these sets as more are made and become available. Right now the plan is to capture what's already out there for as many individual platforms as possible. If any of you have experience with HyperTheme and want to make themes for titles that currently do not have a theme available, feel free! If you let me know about themes you make or ones I might have missed, I'll get them recorded and add them as updates down the road. If you wish to make themes just be sure to keep them in 4:3 for consistency :)

I know some of you have been waiting awhile for these and I appreciate you all being patient while I was away. Hopefully I'll be able to crank the remaining platforms out much faster now that things are getting back to normal... well as normal as things can be with a newborn. Enjoy guys!

  3. Great! Got any previews?

Just started a topic for these themes and posted some screenshots for you :) there are 230 themes (including 15 alternates) I tried to get every theme I could find out there. I also want to point out that I'll try my best to do updates for these sets as more themes are made and become available. Right now my main focus is to capture what's already out there and get as many platforms done as possible. Enjoy!

  4. NES Themes are done guys and I'll be uploading them through the night to my folder on the EM FTP. There are 230 themes. I've gotten some pretty brutal storms in my area the past few weeks so my internet has been kind of wonky lately and running really slow... so hold off on grabbing at least until tomorrow evening. As I've said there are 230 themes (this is including alternates that will be in a separate folder) so if you try to download them from my folder on the EmuMovies FTP and haven't gotten a file count of 230, give it more time and wait for them to finish uploading, or just wait until Circo makes them official and get them through EmuMovies Sync, etc.  :) Enjoy! Sega Genesis and 32X are on deck!

  5. Just wanted to update you guys on the progress of the NES HyperSpin Video theme set. They're finished as I said previously and I've even added a few new ones that came along while I was away spending time with our new addition. I will be uploading them to my folder on the EmuMovies FTP within the next few days. Not sure when Circo will get around to making them official as he has a lot going on but if you can't wait, feel free to grab them from my folder and enjoy them until he gets around to adding them to EmuMovies Sync. Thanks again to everyone for being patient with me... the sleepless nights have begun :) I've had very little time lately for anything outside of work and the kiddos but rest assure that more is coming!

  6. Hi everyone! As you know, the wife and I recently had our 5th child and so I've been taking the past month off to spend time with her and the baby while she was on maternity leave. Now that things are starting to get back to normal, I figured I'd stop in and give you all an update and start to resume my current projects. There are TONS more HyperSpin recorded themes on the way, I just simply haven't had the time to get them edited and uploaded for Circo to the EmuMovies FTP. I'm actually in the process of doing that as I type this. NES is the next big pack on deck to be released with Genesis, and N64 to follow. I want to think everyone for their patience and the community for allowing me to step away for a bit and tend to real life. More content is on the way once I get my LB/BB install updated and checkout everything that's been added. I'm really way behind and haven't gone near my setup in over a month :( so I've got a lot of catching up to do!

  7. They're finished :) However, I have not yet uploaded them to the EmuMovies FTP yet due to the fact that I've been extremely busy. I have a very pregnant wife and she's due in 2 weeks so I've been working on finalizing our nursery and other in-home renovations. I will hopefully be uploading them this weekend to the FTP. Keep in mind that Circo will still have to process them and that may take a few weeks as he's pretty busy as well. But you can be sure that they are on the way as well as Sega Genesis, N64, etc.

Finally going to post pics of my game room. As much as I love Emulation and LaunchBox, there's something to be said for having the original hardware and looking at all those old games on a shelf :) anyone else collect? Post pics! I love checking out other game collections! And yes, I'm very OCD about dust, lol most my consoles stay covered when not in use. Please don't judge me [emoji23]

  9. Are your recording available for download anywhere? On Emu Movies FTP I only see arcade systems, about 150 snes games, a couple of game boy and a couple of game boy color.

Ultimately I want recorded themes for every game but right now I am looking for Mario party in 16:9 and Super Mario Bros. I set up playlists for those "platforms" and need a nice platform video.

Someone made a Super Mario Bros. Hyperspin wheel and theme so I was hoping I could record it (attached).

    Super Mario.zip

My recorded HS themes will be available on the EmuMovies FTP once Circo releases them. There are about 50 more SNES themes coming and I just did roughly 240 NES themes and about 30 Sega Genesis themes with other consoles coming soon. Unfortunately, themes for every game on every platform simply don't exist. That would be a huge task for someone to tackle with making themes for every game. I simply record what's already available. I'm at work tonight but I'll take a look at the Super Mario theme when I get home tonight.

  11. HI Cid - Checking in to see if you were able to put out a tutorial on recording a theme?

I have a few that I would like to record if possible.

    Thank you!

For what system are these themes for? I'm currently doing all the console systems and might already have them recorded. If not, I'll be more then happy to record them for you. Are they hosted over at HS?

  12. Took a small break from Amiga themes because I've been really wanting to do a Super Metroid theme, but will go back to it once I'm finished with that. While digging up some art for it, I came across some stuff I thought would make for a good Metroid: Rogue Dawn theme, so I have uploaded that here:

Very... sexy! [emoji23]nice job man! Love it!

  13. I still haven't bought this... is it actually good?

I like it! DD2 will always be my favorite but this one is much better then 3 and plays a lot like 2. It has its flaws of course, but most of them were minor and me just being nit picky as a fan of the series since the beginning. It's worth the $14.99 IMO.

  14. Hey @Riffman81, any update on your Streets of Rage Remake theme?

  15. Success my friend! I love the Super Game Boy vid! Nice work! I haven't had a chance to check out the others yet unfortunately. My baby girl is due to arrive in March so the wife and I are busy planning out the nursery and getting things ready for her. Time sure does fly by! Keep on doing your thing man, you already have my attention and if I can be of any help to you please don't hesitate to ask. Looking forward to seeing more!

  17. I didn't even know there was a patch for TMNT 4, so that's awesome!! ...Sadly, it will only work if patched for the SD2SNES. The emulator version of the patch actually breaks the ROM. The original unheadered ROM you are supposed to use is 1 MB, but after patching, it shrinks to 32KB. Apparently the creator of the patch isn't interested in fixing it so.... you can read the comments here and see a couple of people ran into the same problem and the author never replied to them:  http://www.zeldix.net/t989-tmnt-iv-turtle-in-time-msu-1

Chrono Trigger I don't have working simply because I don't want to buy the soundtrack for it. You can download it from here, if you're interested (needs to be the FLAC format version): http://www.thechronosymphony.com/

This one has extra steps over typical MSU-1 patching, but the patch author provides all the nitty gritty stuff for getting the FLAC files converted to PCM with the patch files themselves (bunch at BATs to ease your life and a conversion utility) and all of the instructions are in the ReadMe. I don't know if there issue with linking this, but since it's just a patch and not a ROM and the site doesn't link to any sources for ROMs, I'm going to guess it's alright and link to where you can get the patch from:  http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2546/

Also, didn't know there was a Mega Man 7 patch! But it's patch is hosted on the same site: http://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3088/

The link to the PCM soundtrack is in the ReadMe. I tested it, but it just boots to black. The author is the same guy as the TMNT one, so... not sure. The filesize is fine with this one and his ReadMe says the ROM must be renamed to megaman7_msu1.sfc even though the BML is looking for "program.rom". In any case, I tried every combo I could think of, but it just boots to black. The patched ROM itself loads fine, but of course you don't get the CD audio that way, but at least I know the ROM itself wasn't broken from the patch. Might have to keep tinkering with this one.

You can totally include that theme video in a pack. I'd be honored to have it included! I also made some box-art/clear logos for the 6 games in my collection, though they aren't special; just the original boxes/logos with the MSU-1 logo added, but it also includes a platform wheel logo.

Great minds think alike! I was planning on doing what you did with the box art by adding the MSU-1 logo. I've done everything I can with Mega Man 7. It doesn't work in any emu I've tested. Must be like the TMNT rom... I might give in and purchase CT sound files... seems like a lot of work though just to get it up and running. I'm hoping someone does something with Castlevania 4. There is a demo video of a MSU-1 version over on YouTube, however the author says he won't release the hack and said not to ask for it. Thanks for all the info and help my friend!
