These look fantastic! Thanks a lot

If it's of any interest to you, retroarch has a Mega Duck core called sameduck_libretro. It may be a bit easier to set up than mame.

This will be a great asset to my collection. Fantastic work!!

There should be a setting in your bios that will allow you to select what card you want to use.

LaunchBox does NOT need the SDK to run, only the runtime. SDK is used to create and compile applications using .NET Core, runtime just has all the code that those programs require to operate on your machine.
I stand corrected. This is why I'm not a developer

I'm going to assume that you are trying to set it up in the core you are using for N64. Have you tried going to the quick menu (while you have a game running) and going to the override section at the bottom? There you can save your config for that particular core, content directory or per game.

What is SDK?
ill google it in the meantime since im having this issue
It stands for software development toolkit. It's basically tools for devs to develop software,
and since Launchbox is built on .NET, its needs these tools to run. -

So, what's the "point" of this thread?

Silly question, I know but you are going to https://emumovies.com/ correct? Would you have an anti virus that is blocking the site? Is it perhaps blocked in your router?

Just tested it and yep, that is exactly what I needed. You're a legend, thanks!
Cheers!

The easiest way to do that would be to download Advanced Renamer. https://www.advancedrenamer.com/download.
Once Downloaded, open the app and click the "Rename Folders" Tab.
Drag all of the folders to that window and in the "Add Folder" settings, click "Add the Folders" and check "Add Root Folders"
Now click "Add Method" and click "Remove Pattern" and paste the text you want to remove from the folder name. In your case, MAME 0 225 CHDs merged_
Once you do that, you should see the changes in the "New Foldername" column.
Now click "Start Batch" and make sure all of your settings are the way you want them.
Finished!
Hope this helps!

If the new drive still has the same drive letter and path, then yes you would be ale to use it. If not, then you would have to create a new shortcut, or edit the current shortcut by right clicking it, click properties and edit the target.

Very useful. Much appreciated!

DS4Windows is the program that you need to install for a DS4 controller.

Sounds like a video card driver issue to me. Have you installed the latest driver version for the video card? An RX 580 should have no issues running Launchbox/Bigbox.

Looks like you are good

i'm on the latest version of retroarch. What version are you using?

If you go to "settings > user interface > menu widgets OFF" it will disable those popups.
-
The clear logo should be in "LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\Sega Genesis(or Megadrive)\Clear Logo" Then open up BigBox and go to settings and refresh your cache.

Have you tried un-installing dropbox to see if that resolves the issue? Is your anti virus possibly corrupting the update file? What do you have for an anti virus? Is the same OS imaged across all 3 PC's?
