Nice 3D model indeed ! Did you do the renders? Or is it me?

I'm not sure what you mean, these naomi models i rendered with blender. But I keep running into little snags because I have to reverse engineer what you did

  2. Would the dev's consider writing an import routine for Teknoparrot?

you point the import routine at the folder that contains the userprofile, xml files. ( the "ROMS" )
the routine parses and XML files present in the folder and reads the GameName element to get the full game name of the games to be imported.

As a bonus the json files in the .\description folder (of teknoparrot) could be parsed to get Specific platform information for separate platform/playlist generation.

    thanks for reading.

  3. It seems that If I open the models in Sketchup and export them as waveform objects the mistranslation of meshes occurs less frequently :)

another try out... replaced the lower resolution images baked in the material.

  4. Those are really swell.

yesterday I found some nice looking arcade cabinet 3d models (yay). unfortunately those were made for sketchup (boo!).
    the models

I can't properly render models in free sketchup (booo), but I also found a script that lets me import the model into blender (yay). but some models have really weird spokes in there wireframe which screws up the textures in the material (boo!)
I'm an absolute beginner (yesterday)  with these types of programmes, so i'm excited to see what can be done..

some pointers if anyone has ever dabbled with this stuff would be most appreciated :)

  5. I'm wondering how you people are managing this. what tools or programs you use.

    My situation is like this:
I've build an arcade cabinet and it has the following devices connected:

    - 1 Ipac-mini, that is configured to run as 2 Xinput devices.
    - a Wireless Xbox 360 receiver for additional controllers
    - a Mayflash Wireless sensor dolphin bar - the Wii games.

question: I'm sure I'm not the only one using an Ipac. in what mode do you use it ? and if you use the keyboard or hybrid mode, what keys did you bind ?
