  1. I have a folder of backup files from Launchbox in 2017 on a backup drive from when I used to use it. I haven't had it on my computer for a few years. I downloaded the latest version and wanted to import my old library from my old archives. But all that's in the backup folder is xml files. No 7-zip files. The only thing I can import from Tools > Restore Data Backup is 7z files. So what exactly was my Launchbox in 2017 backing up? Example of the files in my backup folder: LaunchBox.xml.backup-636127343856260760 BigBoxSettings_2017-12-09_13-46-45.xml Emulators_2017-12-09_14-36-58.xml N64_2017-04-23_22-20-18.xml NES_2017-12-10_22-58-59.xml Platforms_2017-12-09_13-46-04.xml Windows_2017-12-10_19-28-55.xml
  2. Very nice theme! I'm using the condensed version. I actually came on here hoping to find something that looks like Delicious Library (you know with the bookshelf background) but this is a nice alternative. And I use Plex so I'm used to the layout. Thanks for creating this. ?
  3. Okay, I figured that's all the cloud was but I wasn't sure. I found a backup of Launchbox files from 2017 and there were a lot of xml files so I copied and pasted those over. Only thing is now I have to re-add things like the cover art and emulators and such. But the lists are all there so that's good. I wish there were an easier way to make backups like for instance clicking a "backup database" button or something like that.
  4. I haven't had Launchbox on my computer for quite some time now (a couple years maybe) and decided to re-add it. I have my entire collection synced up to the cloud and can see it on the website via my link. But my question is how can I grab the content from the cloud and sync it into my Launchbox program. I tried using "sync to my collection" but that didn't work. Is there another way to sync up old collections from previous file saves and/or the cloud? If by file save, what is the file called and where do I overwrite it? Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried using the search and didn't come up with any leads.
  5. I don't want to seem nitpicky, but are people actually looking at what game their moderating? I've been putting up an entire series of games because they aren't in the database. I use several sources for my information including but not limited to Wikipedia, Amazon, official game sites (developer/publisher), etc before submitting any game. I also try to find the best cover art currently available but sometimes a good cover is hard to find. (I may have to pull out the ol' scanner and do my own tbh.) I've also been correcting a few previous games that were surprisingly listed from said series but were missing ratings, release dates, etc. So far everything I've submitted has been accepted and no rejections and that's great. But today I've had three different games from the same series that have 2 approvals and 1 rejection each. I feel like whomever is rejecting them (the entire listings: date, title, wiki link, etc) is just hitting reject to skip to the next in the queue. If that's the case then we need to add a skip button for those who have no idea about certain games. Seems a bit unfair to have a lazy moderator reject a game because a) they don't know what they're looking at b) they're not interested in what their looking at or c) they hit reject for funzies.
  6. I realize most people wouldn't think twice about DVD games, but there are quite a few games out there specifically made for the DVD player. Would anyone be interested in adding this platform so we can add those games? If not I can add the platform to my own personal library - no problem. Just thought I throw this out there since I'm sure most of you have owned at least one DVD game at one point in your lives. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interactive_movie#DVD_games
