The only thing I could recommend is creating individual playlists without adding games......then go into your game collections and left click "add to playlist" on each game you want to add.

I've done a similar thing, I googled the top 50 roms per genre, once I had my list I typed the Rom name into launchbox search and manually added each one to the playlist I created  ......hope this helps

Ok, thanks...the video I'm going to use shows multiple arcade cabinets and plays music, it would be nice to stay as one video as when looking through genres you don't really need multiple videos as the constant changing can get annoying

Hi Neil, that's not what I mean....i want 1 video to play constantly as I scroll through the playlists.....i can't put the same video renamed as it would keep restarting everyone I scroll......thanks

Hi all, wondered if anyone could help with a small problem...i want big box to show a single video in the playlist selection screen (main menu). So as I scroll through shooters, beat em ups, fighters...the video stays the same.

I know how to add individual videos per playlist but because there arnt any about yet for genres I thought this idea would work best.

 

I've got the video, just need to know where to put it and what to name it

 

P.s I already have everything else setup so wouldn't want to create a new theme if possible....thanks in advance

Just thought i'd share these playlist clear logos i created after not being able to find the ones i needed.  I used a clear logo template from this site (VIKING) .....thanks

These need to be placed in the playlist clear logo folder and renamed to your playlist name (unless you have named them exactly the same as these).

Clear logos are as follows : Beat em up, Shoot em up, Shooters, Puzzle, Vs fighters, Sports, Run and Gun, Platformers, Light Gun,   .....they all have a silver ring which ive given a retro look

This is my first upload so hope you all enjoy....just hoping someone will now create the playlist videos to match ...big thanks to the original creators of the Jukebox/Arcade and Light gun icons
