  1. I've just started using this service and I'm feeling kind of a idiot asking about this, but.. I am trying to register into the cloud service through the LaunchBox app, but I'm having a problem about my login info.. The app tells me that I'm using incorrect login info, but I hve no toruble when I try to login on the website, as you guys can tell as I'm using the forum. However when I try to see my info on the website, it shows a smaller password than the one I created for my account, and I don't know what is this about.. I'm sure I am trying to use the exact same password on both websire and app, but there is something wrong with it, and I don't know what is it.. Maybe you guys can help me please..

Please subscribe to my Youtube Channel! My work blends a few influences relevant to the platform while showcasing the machine itself along with the games the platform ran: 1) Music made using sounds available on the platform (where possible) 2) The platform's boot screen (if possible) 3) Commercial influences usually in the form of the platform's marketing jingle. 4) The platform's packaging. In this way, the platform video itself gives an accurate interpretation of what the platform is, was marketed as, and what it looked and sounded like. In this video, the beginning displays a blue screen followed by a flicker/jitter common when starting a GX4000 game. An animated box art screen follows which slowly transitions into a 3D interpretation of the space pilot art followed by a Star Wars inspired jump into hyperspace to reveal game play footage.

Please subscribe to my Youtube Channel! The Amstrad CPC platform obviously doesn't come in a box (other than a boring brown cardboard box that is), so this time, I decided to let the system speak for itself for you all to enjoy.

  6. Hello, To clarify my question I want to launch an arcade rom through Retroarch but use a different core than what I usually use. For example the rom I want to launch is the 6-player version of X-Men Arcade and the core I usually run with all my arcade roms is mame2016, but because of screen issues I want to run X-Men with the basic mame core. This is what the game looks like running mame2016: and this is what it looks like running mame: I want it to look like the second image and the only way to do so is to run the basic mame core. So my question is that is it possible to launch X-Men with the basic mame core through LaunchBox while still being able to launch all my other arcade roms with the mame2016 core? Thank in advance!
  7. This is a collection of Playlist Genre Intro Videos. These are completely re-built animated versions of my original Intro videos I will be adding to the collection regularly. I was looking for a way to make the videos longer and this is the concept I came up with. Big Thanks to the Emumovies community for their work in recording the snaps also big thanks to @letstalkaboutdune for the use of some of his logos.

Please subscribe to my Youtube Channel! The arcade platform obviously doesn't come in a box, so this time, I decided to slap together some footage I found from across the web, put it together in a solid piece and bring it to you all to enjoy. I don't take any credit for any of the rendering at all, just the editing.
  9. Hi guys, i have a premium LB account and have seen the option to be able to exit games inside big box but I don’t have a clue of how to set it up or if this affects on the current game controls. For instance, I’d like something like in RetroArch when you can configure going back to main menu via start+select buttons. Thanks in advance

  11. Good Sunday from Switzerland everyone! I am basically new to the world of emulators and LaunchBox and whatelse there is out there. But a friend of mine had Ninendo games on his computer, what triggered me to try it myself this weekend. So I ended up downloading RetroArch and Launchbox this morning. I followed the steps of a Youtube tutorial. The next step was to download some games. I just went on Romsmania.cc and got the first game they recommended just to try it out. I downloaded and imported the game. Everything seemed to work. Now there is just one huge problem: The game won`t start. And I have no clue where I went wrong or which settings aren`t the right ones. Is there any one or any thing that could help me?

  17. Hi there, I recently discovered LaunchBox and was really excited about it. Unfortunately, I'm not able to install it as the installer says I first have to install .NET Framework 4.7. But no matter if I try to over the LaunchBox installer or manually, the installation fails. The fact is, that this should actually be no surprise as I currently have Windows 10 Pro 1803 (April 2018 Update) in which .Net Framework 4.7 is already installed. Nevertheless under "Turn windows features on or off" I additionally ticked and thus installed the whole ".NET Framework 4.7 Advanced Services" but no change: the LaunchBox installer still wants me to install .NET Framework 4.7. Is there a way to solve this issue?

    cmpro64

Hi all, I have a quick query. MAME audit all sets throws up no errors, all correct nothing incorrect. 0.185 rom's and CHD's (merged). cmpro gives me a voluminous list of crosses and advice, mainly revolving around renaming. Just a little concerned at the amount of renaming and work cmpro wants to do. Downloaded what I thought was a full merged set, rom's CHD's, Just checking this looks right before I proceed and potentially destroy my rom set, although it is fully backed up, just a little nervous about this procedure. I have update packs to take me to version 2.0 which will then get me fairly up to date, and will match the artwork that is ready and waiting at version 2.0, once everything is up to date and ready to migrate to lunchbox. The full set can be imported, is it an easy matter of pointing everything directory wise so no downloading is required for launchbox to do? many thanks

i made a batch file to launch cgterm to connect to the title of the .exe (commodore4ever bbs.exe) when run it will extract cgterm in to temp folder then connect you to the bbs of your choice. when you exit it will deletc the temp folder. you need to add them one by one into LB the first one you make for platform type in BBS then on you second one go to the BBS tab in LB and start adding them this saves you from having to fill out the BBS platform everytime. ive made 17 BBS Launchers and can make more if you wish. i also will release the batch file (.bat) setup and the program i used to pack it into a .exe. if people want it to make there own.
