  1. Emerson Arcadia 2001 Platform Video View File My work blends a few influences relevant to the platform while showcasing the machine itself along with the games the platform ran: 1) Music made using sounds available on the platform (where possible) 2) The platform's boot screen (if possible) 3) Commercial influences usually in the form of the platform's marketing jingle. 4) The platform's packaging. In this way, the platform video itself gives an accurate interpretation of what the platform is, was marketed as, and what it looked and sounded like. In this video, the beginning displays the NTSC box design that expands into the PAL version to display game play. Submitter mcfilmmakers Submitted 09/02/2018 Category Platform Theme Videos
  2. Can someone please explain to me why when I start up a platform in launchbox that uses Retroarch it opens in its own window instead of inside of Launchbox. Thank you for your help.
  3. Hi guys, So I have exhausted all methods and I think I've found what the problem is. I used ETA Prime's method in his Youtube tutorial to no avail. Emulator Details Associated Platforms Note the extra command-line parameters. I am unable to enter the full command line: -L "cores\fbalpha_libretro.dll" I enter the command line and click OK. But when I come back to check, the space is blank. The only way I can get it to save is by removing the "-" And that's what you see in the screenshot. I gather that this is a bug? I'm using version 8.5 of LB. I'm able to enter the full command line in the edit game section of any given rom. And the line saves without a hitch, the games run fine this way. Please see below: Anyone else run across this issue? Is there a fix other than editing each individual rom? Thanks in advance!
  4. I don't know if this is just on my side on my Android phone or if anyone else is having issue. I haven't removed anything yet, hoping I don't have to reset it all.
  5. I’m having trouble configuring my Aimtrak lightgun to work in Launchbox. I set it up in windows 10 without any problems. I then went into MameUI64 and set it up without any problems. I am able to hit tab, and configure the gun to the controls I want without any issues, but when I launch the game from Launchbox, it’s picking it up as a mouse on the screen. I’ve tried and tried to hit tab, and configure the controls for the gun with no avail. It will configure the trigger and 2 side buttons, but I cannot get the gun to register the X and Y axis. It pops up on my screen as a mouse cursor and I can move it on the screen, but I can’t get it to register to the X and Y axis. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
  6. I'm loving the new LaunchBox Next! It's obviously missing a lot of features right now but that's to be expected. My absolute favorite new thing about LaunchBox Next is how it loads your boxart images into memory. No more waiting for them to load up one or a couple at a time. It only happens the first time you view them all, but once that's done never again. It runs smoothly. I really hope it stays this way. Thanks for your hard work guys. It's appreciated.
  7. hi there i have a preminum license subscription for launchbox, i have emulator and games in my launchbox folder but i can't use the controller in the games, doesn't work. i have a third party xbox one controller but it functions like an official one. does anyone know how to setup a third party controller in the configuration in LaunchBox? 8. Hi, I'm currently working to make a new BigBox theme, suddenly; I ran into a weird problem; when I changed the platforms wheel from vertical to horizontal (using the code available at the documentation.pdf) whatever image type I choose, I only get blank text, I tried using other image types, but it doesn't work either?! This is the code if you want to take a look: <UserControl xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:transitions="clr-namespace:Unbroken.LaunchBox.Wpf.Transitions;assembly=Unbroken.LaunchBox.Wpf" xmlns:coverFlow="clr-namespace:Unbroken.LaunchBox.Wpf.Controls.CoverFlow;assembly=Unbroken.LaunchBox.Wpf" xmlns:cal="http://www.caliburnproject.org" xmlns:i="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/2010/interactivity" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignHeight="562" d:DesignWidth="1000" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" Style="{DynamicResource UserControlStyle}"> <Canvas Name="Canvas"> <transitions:TransitionPresenter TransitionSelector="{Binding BackgroundTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding BackgroundView}" Height="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualHeight}" Width="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualWidth}" IsContentVideo="true" /> <Grid Height="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualHeight}" Width="{Binding ElementName=Canvas, Path=ActualWidth}"> <Grid.Background> <SolidColorBrush Color="Black" Opacity="{Binding BackgroundFade}" /> </Grid.Background> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="42*" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="4*" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="92*" /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <coverFlow:FlowControl x:Name="FlowControl" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" Grid.Column="0" ImageType="Clear Logo" CurveAmount="0" CameraZPosition="6.0" VisibleCount="14" PageSize="6" ItemZPosition="1.0" SelectedItemZPosition="3.0" Spacing="3.5"> <coverFlow:FlowControl.CoverFactory> <coverFlow:HorizontalWheelCoverFactory /> </coverFlow:FlowControl.CoverFactory> </coverFlow:FlowControl> <Grid Grid.Column="2"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="5*" /> <RowDefinition Height="50*" /> <RowDefinition Height="2*" /> <RowDefinition Height="50*" /> <RowDefinition Height="5*" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid Grid.Row="1"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="44*" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="4*" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="57*" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="4*" /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <transitions:TransitionPresenter Grid.Column="0" TransitionSelector="{Binding ImageTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding ImageView}" /> <transitions:TransitionPresenter Grid.Column="2" TransitionSelector="{Binding DetailsTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding DetailsView}" /> </Grid> <transitions:TransitionPresenter Grid.Row="3" TransitionSelector="{Binding ImageVideoTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding ImageVideoView}" IsContentVideo="true" /> </Grid> </Grid> </Canvas> </UserControl> Thank you so much for support.
  9. I was wondering in Pinball Arcade, is there a way to get them to load as an individual tables instead of going through the program. Thanks for the help.
  10. Here is a video of some custom videos and platform clear logos I have made for the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis which is my favorite console. I like to split some of the systems up into various regions and categories etc. Number 1 and 4 in the list are the standard ones created by @viking and the rest I did myself. The first minute of the video is scrolling down to the MD / Gen. The regions and categories are: SEGA Genesis SEGA Mega Drive (Brazil) SEGA Mega Drive (China) SEGA Mega Drive (Europe) SEGA Mega Drive (Japan) SEGA Mega Drive (Prototypes) SEGA Mega Drive (SEGA Game Toshokan) SEGA Mega Drive (Sonic Hacks) SEGA Mega Drive (SOR Hacks) SEGA Mega Drive (Translations) SEGA Mega Drive (Unlicensed) I have made other custom videos and the likes for other platforms but will show it all off when I have completely finished, probably in fifty years. The video is unlisted on YouTube so if there is any problems viewing it let me know and I will change it.

  15. In LaunchBox when I have one game selected it shows the generic Viking's Nostalgia theme background I use in BigBox, which I do not want to show in LaunchBox. Though, when multiple games are selected it shows the custom image I have selected in LaunchBox > Tools > Options > Default Background > Use Custom Image:Does anyone know why and how to 'fix' this?

  18. Can anyone tell me why Punchout.rar will run in MAME64 but not in LaunchBox? I'm running the latest MAME update with the current roms, most are working but not this one.
  19. Suggestion for UnBroken Software Team - LaunchBox Badge Specifically 1" x 1" square with LaunchBox logo with black background with metallic accent Would look great on a HTPC case Make them for Sale on eBay Or can we get some made ourselves with the following image?
  20. I have MESSUI64 set as my default emulator for Genesis roms and when using the MESS program on its own, without Launchbox, I can get my Genesis roms to run just the way I want, with correct full screen 4:3 ratio and really nice looking scanlines and saves states and preset volume control and everything I love about Mame that I can never get working properly on other Genesis emulators. So I was really dissapointed when I tried launcing some roms through LB. I can get them to run (using: genesis -cart -skip_gameinfo -nowindow as the command line prompt) but it will not use any of the settings I have stored in MESS and it gives me ugly stretched looking games that are in the wrong ratio, plus all the controller and keyboard settings are totally messed up. I have tried adding extra command line prompts (like -effect Scanlines75dx4_J4.png etc) but none of these seem to work or maybe I have the syntax wrong? I really want to work this out because because I'm hoping to run other systems like NES and SNES through MESS as well, because I prefer the usability and options in MESS a lot. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks
  21. I tried all possible combinations. Atomiswave if I run, it will not work Dreamcast Check "Use file name............." and work atomiswave uncheck "use file name........." and work Dreamcast but not work Atomiswave http://imgur.com/a/u5txy
  22. I figured that there are some biblic verses in launchbox, (Help>about) i don´t have any problem if Jason Carr is a religious person. But Launchbox is not a church to predicate, it´s a game´s launcher, (and yes, I pay for it). So please, consider to remove this religious propaganda, it´s very offensive for me at least (And i´m not the only one as I see: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/33647-secular-version-of-launchbox/) PS: I don't want to be rude, so, sorry if it sounds like that, English is not my mother language, and I don´t know how to express myself better. I consider that at least, must be added an option to enable/disable this if you want.
  23. Hello LaunchBox Community, What are your thoughts on Games DB and LaunchBox adding serials (like catalogue numbers)? An example will be SLUS-00001 which is for Air Combat. I think it is great to have it. Regards!
  24. What is the best emulatrore dreamcast you might meglioa of adapting to the mini PC with launchbox? The video has no cut, everything is in real time.
