  13. Sega System SP Platform View File UPDATE: As the correct name is System SP and not Aurora, I have now updated the logo to be correct, but the Aurora will be here aswell. So once you have broken out all existing platfroms from the mameset for DEMUL you are stuck with a system named System SP codename Aurora, so I made a clear logo for the platform for this awesome Sega Aurora :). Run this script inside your mame folder with a bat file, to seperate the roms from the mameset. You can copy theese back once you have created the platform but dont forget to change the database xml rompath. md _SystemSPAurora_197 move brickppl.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move dinoking.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move dinokior _SystemSPAurora_197 move dinoki25 _SystemSPAurora_197 move lovebery.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move lovebero.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move loveber3 _SystemSPAurora_197 move ochaken.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move tetgiant.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move tetgiano _SystemSPAurora_197 Best Regards Solo Submitter Solo Submitted 05/07/2018 Category Platform Clear Logos
  14. Here is a video of some custom videos and platform clear logos I have made for the SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis which is my favorite console. I like to split some of the systems up into various regions and categories etc. Number 1 and 4 in the list are the standard ones created by @viking and the rest I did myself. The first minute of the video is scrolling down to the MD / Gen. The regions and categories are: SEGA Genesis SEGA Mega Drive (Brazil) SEGA Mega Drive (China) SEGA Mega Drive (Europe) SEGA Mega Drive (Japan) SEGA Mega Drive (Prototypes) SEGA Mega Drive (SEGA Game Toshokan) SEGA Mega Drive (Sonic Hacks) SEGA Mega Drive (SOR Hacks) SEGA Mega Drive (Translations) SEGA Mega Drive (Unlicensed) I have made other custom videos and the likes for other platforms but will show it all off when I have completely finished, probably in fifty years. The video is unlisted on YouTube so if there is any problems viewing it let me know and I will change it.
  15. Custom Platform Clear Logos View File Thought I would share in case anyone else is interested in using any of these. These are some of my custom Platform Clear Logos/Wheel Art. Some of these are from platforms that did not have adequate art. Though, most are sub-categories of platforms as I like to break some of my systems up in regions, unlicensed classes and other miscellaneous. I use Viking's Nostalgia videos and plan on making custom background videos to go with some of these in the future. Submitter Dane Submitted 04/01/2018 Category Platform Clear Logos

  17. So ive been chipping away at this little project for a few years now and I think its almost done. All work besides painting has been done by me. Gutted a Sega Super Megalo 2 and made it shorter so it can fit through a door and function in a living room. Was a fair bit of welding and fiberglass work but came up sweet. In my opinion its one of if not the best machines to play on. Its big and heavy but there's plenty of room between both players, everything is exactly the same so its always a fair fight, Sanwa JLF joysticks with QanBa round gates, heavy springs, short stick and alloy bat-top. Ends up the same height as a stock JLF ball-top but that nice batty feel HBFS30 buttons all around, easily one of the best buttons ever made, no idea why they went under but I'm glad I stocked up when I did. The smaller buttons are IP67 rated buttons, they'll last forever, nice firm feel. The missile switches are covering I-Pac controls for EXIT RESET SAVE LOAD When each emulator loads in Launchbox I run an autohotkey string that on-the-fly programs the I-Pac to suit the emulators mappings. Having this centre control panel across emulators is awesome. The control panel when running emulators is hooked up to a hacked up PS2 controller that ive added HDMI breakouts to to make changing from console to emulator easier. The hacked ps2 controller plugs into a Blissbox 4-play unit. Same goes for both players. If I want to use a different controller I have to open the control panel, unplug the hacked ps2 controller from the Blissbox and then plug in whatever controller I wish. I tried using a HDMI switch to make this simpler but to no avail. Players 3 and 4 can just plug straight into their HDMI ports, hit the ports reset if needed and play. The 4play is basically 4 "Virtual" controllers in a hardware form. You map the four controllers to all your emulators, then when you want to change controllers per game Blissbox does all the hardware mapping and compatibility for you. It supports force feedback also, and even pauses most emulators when changing controllers. To be able to play streetfighter on MAME one minute, then have friends walk through the door and plug in 4 Gamecube controllers and switch to Mario Kart 64 with proper feedback and analogue inputs is bliss. When running on consoles the control panels HDMI lead is plugged into a ps360+ or Brooks adapter. I guess what ive made here is pretty much one big 2/4 player controller that can use ANY console controller (pre Xbox) and also be used on ANY console to date. It could also take down a tank. http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5250
  18. I recently posted a topic stating that my Sega CD core (Genesis Plus GX) is failing to load games, I downloaded all the bios files, checked their MD5 matching and put them in the right folder. Now the games are loading, but just giving me a black screen, nothing seems to happen, not even sound is coming as an output, please if you have any solution that would be very appreciated. By the way I downloaded two (Fully legal) Sonic CD ROMs, one in an .iso format and it's the NTSC-U version, and one in a .ceu format and it's the european version, non of them is working?! Thank you so much. Nasr A.

  25. Hi mates! I have a big problem, I only get Retroarch to work on Sega systems, such as Master system, genesis, 32x. When I try it on something else. it just turns black and nothing happens. And I have downloaded the right core and put the correct text in. "default command line parameters" such as -L "cores\stella_libretro.dll" and so on. It does not even woth outside Lauchbox. I have solved it by using other emulators for other systems, but now I cant seem to find a good emulator for Atari Jaguar. Please help!=)
