First of all i wanna thank @Mr. RetroLust, you can find the official post here Mr. RetroLust's - Mame 4K - Lights Out - Realistic Bezels with his awesome work. This is just a mass scripted conversion of Mr. Retrolust work added a Mega Bezel shader and some manual tweaks for retroarch, all credits to @Mr. RetroLust and Mega Bezel Community. First a warning, this is for 4K and 1080P resolutions only!! it wont work as intended in other screen resolutions. Instructions: 1- Choose and unzip your config.zip (1080p or 4k) to the retroarch folder, it has the individual game cfgs for finalburn neo and mame cores already has the "mega bezel shader pack" included. regardless of what core run what, the rom names are shared, so for the sake of simplicity, with the exception of the core main .cfg files (MAME.cfg / FinalBurn Neo.cfg) all the other game individual .cfg files are exactly the same. 2. extract "shaders_v110.zip" to the shader folder, it has the default retroarch ":\shaders\shaders_slang\" shaders and the mega bezel special shaders in ":\shaders\shaders_slang\bezel\Mega_Bezel\Presets\", this pack presets in the klyze folder Or you can go to Mega Bezel Community and add the latest version manually, just dont forget to add my presets. Games with flat overlay have a dedicated flat shader, but some look good with either flat or curved, so its up to you. 2a. if you think the mega bezel shader is too taxing for your pc just download "Normal Shaders pack" and overwrite the megabezel ones. 3. unzip all the "overlays_partX.zip" files and place them in the overlay folder ":\overlays\Arcade4k\" This was tested in a clean retroarch install, so if you have a retroarch with some weird settings you may have to adjust the main core cfgs yourself. Again, this was a mass conversion, so you may find some unexpected issues i missed, so just give me some feedback.

  3. Mr. RetroLust's Mame 4K Bezels - non official retroarch conversion - (4K and 1080p only!!) View File First of all i wanna thank @Mr. Instructions: 1- Choose and unzip your config.zip (1080p or 4k) to the retroarch folder, it has the individual game cfgs for finalburn neo and mame cores and mega bezel shader already setup. regardless of what core run what, the rom names are shared, so for the sake of simplicity, with the exception of the core main .cfg files (MAME.cfg / FinalBurn Neo.cfg) all the other game individual .cfg files are exactly the same. 2. extract "shaders_v110.zip" to the shader folder, it has the default retroarch ":\shaders\shaders_slang\" shaders and the mega bezel special shaders in ":\shaders\shaders_slang\bezel\Mega_Bezel\Presets\", this pack presets in the klyze folder Or you can go to Mega Bezel Community and add the latest version manually, just dont forget to add my presets. The shader is curved by default and looks great in most games but you may find flat is the way to go in some games. to change that, go to "shader > shader parameters > curved = 0" > save shader game override for that game. (P.S. in a future update each games will have the proper flat / curved shader) 2a. if you think the mega bezel shader is too taxing for you pc just choose a simple shader the in \shaders\shaders__Slang\ folder (ex. CRT geom) and save core preset. 3. unzip all the "overlays_partX.zip" files and place them in the overlay folder ":\overlays\Arcade4k\" This was tested in a clean retroarch install, so if you have a retroarch with some weird settings you may have to adjust the main core cfgs yourself. Again, this was a mass conversion, so you may find some unexpected issues i missed, so just give me some feedback. Submitter klyze_pt Submitted 09/15/2022 Category Platform Bezels/Overlays
  4. Basically, mixing a 4K screen and a 1080P screen doesn't work properly. On a stream, @Jason Carr mentioned I should take it to the forums and report it, so I have. What happens is BB actually displays BOTH monitors content on one monitor. If you switch both to be 1080P in Windows, reboot while it is set to 1080P it will work. Then you can actually return one of the monitors to 4K and it will actually work properly. If you have either monitor set to 4K before you reboot then BB will not show anything spanned across monitors. Thing is if you trick it in this way it DOES work properly! This tells me there has got to be something that can be done to make this work reliably. I don't really care to swap back and forth to 1080P and reboot every time I want to turn on my second screen with BB. Thanks for you time! Below is a video showing exactly what is happening. The video includes both monitors. The right hand screen is a 1080P 55inch TV so that is as high as it goes. The leftmost screen is a Vizio e65-01 which is a 65inch 4K TV. They are side by side in my setup.

  11. 1080P Arcade Generic System Overlays View File Hello everyone! I did these overlays with available content in community and internet. I credit everyone for their respective content provided. Thankfully!! They are all generic arcade 1080p overlays. Use for Mame, FinalBurn Neo, Capcom and NeoGeo systems. Contains versions for curved screen, flat screen and HSM shaders, horizontal and vertical variants. I made them to use simultaneously with Retroarch + Launchbox, as it contains their logos. Obviously they can be used for Retroarch alone, of course! INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip the content into the Retroarch overlay folder. SCALING SETTINGS: Curved screen horizontal overlays: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 350 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 80 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1220 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 920 Shader: Use one which lets you define the curvature for best result (I prefer crt-guest-dr-venom). Curved Screen Vertical Overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 608 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 72 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 702 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 934 Again, use a shader which lets you define the curvature for best result (I recommend crt-guest-dr-venom). Flat screen Horizontal Overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 316 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 54 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1290 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 970 Flat screen Vertical Overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 590 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 48 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 740 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 896 ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- BONUS 1080P arcade overlay (Mame and FBN versions) for vertically rotated monitors. NOTE: To use rotated overlays, you need to configure the image rotation by Retroarch video settings and, obviously, a monitor that allows you to rotate it physically. Curved screen vertical rotate overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 230 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 80 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1224 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 918 Shader: One more time, one which lets you define the curvature for best result (I prefer crt-guest-dr-venom). Flat screen vertical rotate overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 198 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 56 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1292 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 962 Have a good time! ****** NOTE THIS THEME IS BUILT FOR STEAM STYLE BANNERS FOR THE FLOWCONTROL WHEEL. IF YOU WOULD RATHER USE BOXART THEN DONWLOAD THE THEME GRIDDLE BOXVIEW INSTEAD ********* Following on from the NesicaxLive theme I created previously this is my second theme - GRIDDLE Unlike the Nesica theme this theme should scale correctly to most 16:9/16:10 resolutions. I have tested at 1080p but the theme has been built with images sized suitably for 4k displays. If anyone has a 4k display and would like to test this and feedback in the comments section that would be appreciated. Also as with the Nesica theme I created this theme has additional elements included within it for Publisher/Developer logos to be displayed and also controller layouts to be shown for each platform. I have also included in seperate zip files below the platform fanart I have used in the screenshots above should you want to do the same in your setup (note unlike theme itself which is drawn to 4k the fanart are only 1080p but should scale ok up to 1080p). With regards the game/platform videos I recommend using default videos for this theme without other elements to keep the look clean and in 4:3 ratio where possible - videos shown in screenshots are all available from emumovies. If you want to change or add additional controller layout images you just need to drop the images into the following directory within your Launchbox directory /Themes/Griddle/Images/Controls/Platform Name (you may need to create the relevant Platform Name if it does not already exist) All views are the same layout but with different colour themes applied. This allows you to set each platform to a different colour scheme but whilst keeping a consistent look and feel throughout. Any issues, recommendations etc. are always welcome. For anyone who has posted on the Nesica theme I am going back and working on that one currently to make that one responsive so it scales to other resolutions and also adding in some of the features from this theme so expect a 2.0 Nesica release soon. Thanks Platform_FanArt.zip
