I present a labor-of-love. It is a project that I have been working on for a while. It is part-theme and part-playlist. Basically, it's a historical look through Nintendo's console history with playlists designed to capture the best of every release (in 20, 50, and 100 game lists). While I feel pretty good about the state of these lists, I am also eager to share, fix, add, or update. Feel free to send suggestions my way. Each spreadsheet also includes all the sources I used to compile the data. REMINDER: These are not in order of “Best” these are in order of mentions based upon aggregating a number of “Best of” lists. In some cases, smaller lists, or higher ranked games were given greater weight to arrive at a more balanced list. The definitive top NES games. Included is four files so you can use whichever works for you: Top 4, 10, 16, and 29. If you want best 65, there's another file on the forum by Jason Carr. I'd recommend the top 4 or top 10 All the top games lists seem opinionated so I decided to make a list that would just be the games most people agree belong on such a list without anyone's personal idiosyncrasies (If this was my personal list you'd see Solar Jetman, but that's a niche game). Top ColecoVision Games View File The definitive top ColecoVision games. Included is three files so you can use whichever works for you: Top 3, 5, and 7. I'd recommend the top 5. I made this list the same way that I made the Top Nes list, but I'm not sure that this was the best method. There weren't as many or as big lists online for the ColecoVision as the Nes so it's mostly based on how many lists each game is in rather than how a game compares to another when they're on the same list.
