About Me

  1. These Arcade Bezels were made by me and tested on Windows 10 with MameUI and Retroarch running at 1920x1080. Here are my bezels in one large pack. https://bit.ly/2TWXkZQ It's over 5gb to download. This includes most of everything that I made except for the arcade bezels made using Hyperspacemadness's shader reflections. I hope to release those in their own pack sometime soon. Check out my youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/orionsangel Here's a Tutorial on how to add my overlays to Mame. Donations are welcome and appreciated. ? https://www.paypal.me/orionsangel
  2. Machtendo - 1080p Bezels Set ( v1.0 = 175 Bezels) - LaunchBox Community Appreciation View File Machtendo - Bezels Set ( v1.0 = 175 Bezels) - LaunchBox Community Appreciation Hello, all! I was inspired by the work of a few users here in the community to teach myself how to use Photoshop and I wanted to create my own unique set of bezels. I taught myself just enough Photoshop to accomplish what I'd hoped to accomplish. I made these for myself because I loved so many of the different styles and sets I'd seen on here, which varied widely - but I wanted a more uniformed set that I felt would work well with Viking's Colorful (Dark) Theme. I decided that I'd go ahead and post them here, to express my gratitude for all the hard work everyone has put in to make LaunchBox what it is. Since I am interested to learn more Photoshop, I think I'm going to continue experimenting with these. If the community seems to like them, I'll post an update every so often. If anyone has any feedback or tips, I'm always willing to learn! In these config files, I point to the overlay file path with integer scaling turned on, with the opacity set to 1.0. I'll post a sample config later on. These are from my very-far-from-being-finished Retroarch overlay project. I've been meaning to put these up for a while now, but was waiting to cover more systems but... who knows how long it'll take to get through more, so I figured I'd put up what I have so far. Originally I was just going to create some for Arcade stuff, but then decided to branch out into some other platforms as well. Like I said, this has a really long way to go before it's anywhere close to done. Current platforms covered: CPS1 (5 overlays; 4 horizontal / 1 vertical) CPS2 (4 overlays; 2 horizontal / 2 vertical) MAME (4 overlays; 1 horizontal / 3 vertical) Neo Geo (1 overlay) NES (6 overlays) Sega Dreamcast (1 overlay) Sega Genesis (4 overlays) Sega Saturn (2 overlays) Sharp X68000 (2 overlays) SNES (3 overlays) Sony Playstation (3 bezels of differing widths) Other image/video projects:
  5. I want to add MAME Bezels to mame only at this time, but not looking to use retroarch at this time.. I'm comparing between full stretched games and games with bezel and with bezels look better since its the original resolution I would also like to know how to add bezels per games instead of the whole library at once. Thanks
  6. Hello everyone, The Bezel Project was created with the goal of making a custom bezel for every ROM with an easy install script for the raspberry pi. It has been ported over for Odroid, and Mac and I would love some help getting it over to LaunchBox for more people to enjoy! We’ve made thousands of them for multiple consoles and there has been a lot of demand to get them working on PC, but I need help. Here is more information about us from our GitHub page if that helps. Thank you and we appreciate it very much. https://github.com/thebezelproject/BezelProject

Wasn't a fan of how small a screen all the gba bezels/overlays seemed to want me to have. It might be pixel perfect or w/e I dunno and I'm just a scrub, but I wasn't a fan. So I repurposed a wallpaper I found on google images. It's about as basic as you could expect from a bezel. Used mGBA in retroarch, all default settings except Integer Scaling turned ON. Oh I forgot to add, it's for a 1920x1080 display.

So, I just threw this together quick and like it so figured someone else might find it useful. It's essentially just a simple full screen bezel with TV like frame. Basically if you try to use no bezel on full screen like roms or programs (I use it for magazines, books, videos and maybe PC games etc), You usually dont get the same experience as the rest of your roms. It may jerk around before loading and even when it loads you may have an issue with getting it full screen etc. Well this might fix that. Quite simple but just solves a minor problem that I have had. Obviously, there is no need for bezel edges with full screen apps, hence full screen bezel. You might find other reasons for it if you use Rocket Launcher too. Like I said, I hope someone finds it useful.

This is the bezel set I created for use with vertically oriented monitors, and is the companion set for the Vertical Aspirations BigBox theme. The set includes the major consoles (*pre analog controls) NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Atari 2600, etc, etc. Each Retroarch console has two Overlay Borders. One with bezel and one without. I did this so you can use something like the HSM Mega Bezel Reflection Shader with the overlay if you are so inclined. I've noticed the shader is a little resource hungry so I've included the bezel versions here in case that shader slows your system down too much. If your system is fast enough. I highly recommend using the HSM shader. I have also included in the set, per-game bezels for Vectrex that utilize the overlays that were included in the physical games as well as several per game bezels for Intellevision that include the physical overlays that were included with the games for use with the game pads. (see below) This is nice so you can see what controls do what for the game you are playing. I may create a set like this for ColecoVision in the future. There is also a generic MAME Bezel I've included in the folder created by Chad Wedlake from his youtube channel. All the console bezels in this folder are derivative of his MAME bezels. As with the Vertical Aspirations BigBox theme, you'll need to be running Windows in portrait mode for these to be of any use to you. *At this point I'm not considering making bezels for newer generation consoles that use analog sticks on the controllers. This set was built with Arcade Cabinets in mind that do not typically use analog stick controls.

  20. 1080P Arcade Generic System Overlays View File Hello everyone! I did these overlays with available content in community and internet. I credit everyone for their respective content provided. Thankfully!! They are all generic arcade 1080p overlays. Use for Mame, FinalBurn Neo, Capcom and NeoGeo systems. Contains versions for curved screen, flat screen and HSM shaders, horizontal and vertical variants. I made them to use simultaneously with Retroarch + Launchbox, as it contains their logos. Obviously they can be used for Retroarch alone, of course! INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip the content into the Retroarch overlay folder. SCALING SETTINGS: Curved screen horizontal overlays: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 350 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 80 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1220 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 920 Shader: Use one which lets you define the curvature for best result (I prefer crt-guest-dr-venom). Curved Screen Vertical Overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 608 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 72 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 702 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 934 Again, use a shader which lets you define the curvature for best result (I recommend crt-guest-dr-venom). Flat screen Horizontal Overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 316 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 54 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1290 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 970 Flat screen Vertical Overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 590 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 48 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 740 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 896 ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- BONUS 1080P arcade overlay (Mame and FBN versions) for vertically rotated monitors. NOTE: To use rotated overlays, you need to configure the image rotation by Retroarch video settings and, obviously, a monitor that allows you to rotate it physically. Curved screen vertical rotate overlay: Integer Scale: OFF Aspect Ratio: Custom Custom Aspect Ratio (X Position): 230 Custom Aspect Ratio (Y Position): 80 Custom Aspect Ratio (Width): 1224 Custom Aspect Ratio (Height): 918 Shader: One more time, one which lets you define the curvature for best result (I prefer crt-guest-dr-venom). A 16:9 bezel/overlay themed for Street Fighter II (SNES) Designed for use with retroarch on 16:9 displays. Unzip and drop the .png and config file in 'Overlays' folder in retroarch directory.
  24. So I've been doing a lot of fooling around in Retroarch lately, and I've finally been able to figure out how bezels work (for platforms and individual games), along with auto save states for some games I don't have time to do in one play through (Sonic on Genesis for example). I'm really loving that I can have overlays for 4:3 games on my 16:9 monitor. I have Dolphin configured per game, so some games are 4:3 while others are 16:9, all depending on how the extra space gets drawn (or doesn't in some cases). I wanted to see if anyone knew of a way to configure overlays in Dolphin. For the life of me, I can't figure it out. So any help would be fantastic.
  25. Hey all, I posted this on the RocketLauncher forums but thought you guys might also like to use them. I'm making bezels for use with RocketLauncher. They're designed for 1920x1080 displays. I'll be making each to be as least distracting as possible while at the same time still filling in those ugly black bars. I've created a logo background for each system. See here for a few examples: I've also enhanced some of my old handheld bezels like so: You can view all the bezels here: https://mega.nz/#F!WYkGkaoA!oILq-t4Ohofc-dy-6qcG7A Just select as many as you want, download then paste them in your RocketLauncher/Media/Bezels folder. Keep checking back as I'll be adding new bezels as I make/test them.
