I enabled Leaderboard charts and made an account and everything on my MAME cabinet. However, I now noticed I can no longer enable cheats in some games like the Mortal Kombat series. The cheats worked fine before this. I am assuming this is because we don't want cheaters to have high scores on the leaderboards. However, there are plenty of times where I am playing by myself or with a friend, and I would like to enable cheats. I thought the way LaunchBox handled it was I could choose if I wanted to enable cheats, but disable my score that session from the leaderboards. I don't see any way to do that. Can anyone lend me a pointer? Also, if you HAVE to disconnect from the leaderboards in order to use cheats again, is there any way to connect and disconnect in Big Box mode?
Hi, i'm interested in finding out how to access one of the images (the button layout image) during game play... It would be nice if I could have a hotkey or something that I can click to remind me what button does while i am playing. Is this possible? The image is there, but how do you access it? Thanks!
Hey all, I've been rummaging around the net and I can't find anything on cheat support in retroarch for any of the n64 cores available. I was using Project 64 thru rocket launcher and it was mostly ok but you have to config cheats per game in windowed mode thru p64 so I decided to give retroarch a shot for n64 due to the in game play menu feature you can pull up for save states, settings, cheats, etc which can be done with a game controller. Basically I'm saying I want to access cheats from my game pad in big box mode for n64 and aside from within retroarch I have no idea how to go about that.
