Hey guys! In the last few days I added the 'Recently Played' auto-populating playlist to my set, and I was bummed to realize that there is no media for this category (that I could find), so I went ahead and created two simple videos and a clear logo to go with them. I am nowhere near the great video creators from this forum (I would have loved to make a video with a synced equalizer, and graphics flying all over the place hehe), so be easy on me. Option 1 Disclaimer; the video source clips and song are from Polygon.com by Reverse Enginears featuring P Sus. I edited stuff in and out, changed resolutions, times, blurs, fades, etc. Recently Played.mp4 Option 2 (ALT) Disclaimer; the video source is a fan-video made by Kriskappashox and FreankExpo's Staff. The song used is "Donkey Kong REMIX [Super Bass Boosted]" by San Holo. Recently Played ALT.mp4 Option 3 (ALT 2) Disclaimer; the video source is from YT user 4096 called "Evolution of Game Cartridge". The song used is "Donkey Kong REMIX [Super Bass Boosted]" by San Holo. Recently Played ALT 2.mp4 You can also grab the logo I made that goes along with the videos. The bitten gamepad is based on an idea from designevo. If somebody wants to improve or create a video/logo for this category, please be my guest; the more options the merrier Enjoy!

UPDATE: As the correct name is System SP and not Aurora, I have now updated the logo to be correct, but the Aurora will be here aswell. So once you have broken out all existing platfroms from the mameset for DEMUL you are stuck with a system named System SP codename Aurora, so I made a clear logo for the platform for this awesome Sega Aurora :). Run this script inside your mame folder with a bat file, to seperate the roms from the mameset. You can copy theese back once you have created the platform but dont forget to change the database xml rompath. md _SystemSPAurora_197 move brickppl.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move dinoking.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move dinokior _SystemSPAurora_197 move dinoki25 _SystemSPAurora_197 move lovebery.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move lovebero.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move loveber3 _SystemSPAurora_197 move ochaken.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move tetgiant.zip _SystemSPAurora_197 move tetgiano _SystemSPAurora_197 Best Regards Solo

  10. Custom Platform Clear Logos View File Thought I would share in case anyone else is interested in using any of these. These are some of my custom Platform Clear Logos/Wheel Art. Some of these are from platforms that did not have adequate art. Though, most are sub-categories of platforms as I like to break some of my systems up in regions, unlicensed classes and other miscellaneous. I use Viking's Nostalgia videos and plan on making custom background videos to go with some of these in the future. Submitter Dane Submitted 04/01/2018 Category Platform Clear Logos

  12. This is something i'd find really useful. Especially when fixing wrongly scraped roms. A simple button within the rom edit screen to clear all attached data. With the option via tick box maybe of including the media also. This would save alot of time rather than deleting each field individually by hand.
  13. I'm trying to add a custom platform logo to my play list and to final burn alpha but they do not show up.. I tried using the edit platform details box and it does not work.. I also went into the themes folder "Critical Zone" and properly named them and in big box mode they do not show up in big box mode instead the text for favorites and the default logo for arcade show up.

When I started importing Nintendo Famicom Disk System games I realized there wasn't any true clear logos. So I decided to make my own! What I did was use the Game Title screens to make them. They aren't the best, but I think they are better than what we had beforehand. This isn't a complete set, but It's 100+ clear logos of most of the games. I'm gonna slowly add these to the Games DB, but for now I'm gonna dump them here if anyone wants them!

This archive contains clear logos for the following Retro Gamer magazine issues: Annual 2-3 Collection 1-15 Issues 1-200 Note, there are a few gaps in this collection. Namely, I don't have the system specific issues. Also, as of November 1, 2017, the most current issue is 173 and I have generated files up to issue 200.

  18. I have a default collection on the GamesDB filled with 1000s of games. I have spent a large time cleaning up my collection. I want to empty my entire collection and start again. It is my default collection, any suggestions?
