Hi all- I have had LB with my XArcade tankstick running just fine for a around a year now- but I still post as a NOOB cuz I'm just plain stupid with this stuff. Anyway- I joke that every time my brother's son comes over he breaks something- or many times- multiple things. This time it was my LB/MAME setup. The controls just won't work. I tried a restart and re-inserted the two usb connections into my cpu. No joy. I use "tab' on my connected keyboard to enter the controls area and I think this is where I get lost. I mostly use this for Golden Tee Complete, so for instance, I will just go into the controls area for the game, double click on a given command, and then just "tap" the key I want. I thought it was this simple but it doesn't work. When I first set up the arcade stick all worked just fine, so I wish I just knew how to "reset" mame, and the Arcade stick, if necessary, It's really all I need to do, for my purposes. Shameful I cannot figure this out and would desperately appreciate any advice. Thanks so much James

This isn't so much a feature per-say but I was wondering if there is some way I could edit Big Box to have the song details remain on the screen for longer when playing background music? I know it's not in any plugins thus-far and it would be relatively unimportant for the majority of users, but I have an impressive music collection of arcade songs on my unit with a lot of information displayed when switching songs so I figure I can see if it is some simple value that can be edited in a config file somewhere or something along those lines. Please let me know if this isn't the place for such a discussion and I can gladly move to the appropriate location!

Hello all, New to this software and loving it so far. One question I have is how do I mass edit box art on several roms at once. For example, I`ve got several roms with no image downloaded. I want to select all these and mass change the image to a picture of the machine/console it used for instead just a blank image. The "bulk update" wizard doesn't seem to allow the changing of the image(s). Do I have to manually edit it entry? Thanks

Script for removing ESRB logos from Steam trailers View File It seems that many people find it annoying that many trailers which get downloaded by LaunchBox from Steam begin with an ESRB or PEGI logo before the actual trailer starts. With this ffmpeg script you can batch remove the first seconds of all your trailers and cut these logos out of the videos without the need to re-encode them. NOTE: Besides this script you’ll need the free program ffmpeg. You can get it here: https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/ You won’t have to install it. Just download the static version and extract it somewhere on your PC. How to use it: 1. Put my script in the “bin” folder of your ffmpeg installation. 2. Open the .cmd file with any text editor and edit the paths for your Steam/WIndows video folder and the output folder (where it should save the edited videos). Only change the placeholder names in capital letters and leave the rest as it is. 3. The number after the –ss command is the length you want to cut out at the beginning. I set it to 5 seconds but you can change it as you like. 4. Save the file and start it with a double-click. Wait until it’s finished. 5. Overwrite your old video files with the new ones from your output folder. Submitter CriticalCid Submitted 08/14/16 Category Third-party Apps and Plugins
