  1. Hi. I have the intel-version of Onex Palyer. I think it might be related to the latest Intel drivers-update, but the videos (including intro) freezes on the first frame or so while i can clearly hear the sound and operate Bigbox normally. I've tested changing playback mode between VLC and Windows Media player in the Bigbox settings.
  2. I know this has been discussed before, but I still haven't found a solution... I have no problems AT ALL with version 7.0, but when I update to anything newer than that, I run into the following issue: (Doesn't happen every time) But often, when I exit an emulator (using the built in automation... (select + start)) BigBox will completely hang.. It happens often enough that I created an AHK that closes and restarts BB. As I said, everything works fine on version 7.0, but I really like the playlist functionality (amongst other upgrades) Things I've tried: I have used both VLC and Media player for videos. I forced populated all game wheel images. I'm using the max RAM cache. Hide Taskbar (Checked & Unchecked) Show "Loading Game" (checked & unchecked) Some observations: I am running Windows 7, but I shelled with BigBox (replaced explorer.exe with BigBox.exe)... If I have explorer.exe loaded when the freeze occurs, I can see the taskbar (meaning BigBox lost focus). But clicking on BigBox to return focus doesn't solve the issue, I have to kill and restart regardless The videos and scrolling game info freeze as well It generally doesn't freeze after exiting the first game... only after the second or third exit Sometimes BB will lose focus after exiting an emulator, but the gamelist video will still be playing... if this is the case, then I can just "click" to give BB focus back, and all is well (if the video is frozen... then I have to close/restart BB) Specs: Windows 7 64bit Core2Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz 8GB RAM I will update this as I try new things... Please ask me if you need any other details Thank you all in advance for the help Cheers!

  4. I was here yesterday and posted a question about a problem I had and that one has since been fixed. Yay! ^^ However, solving one problem apparently gives birth to another one that's unrelated. DESCRIPTION So I am using Snes9x v 1.53 and have imported around 200+ games into my library. However, when I try to play most of them, the black screen of Snes9x just keeps loading until I am forced to close the program because it stops responding. At first I thought this was a ROM-issue limited to a few games, but then I discovered that apparently the majority of SNES-games don't work in Launchbox. I have only discovered a handfull of games that work; so far I have confirmed that Actraiser (EUR) and Super Mario All-stars + World actually work in Launchbox. Seeing as how I am a little out of my league trying to load all games in the library one by one to see if each and everyone works, I am content for now with finding out that it is not a general issue but it actually seems to be oddly specific. Also, playing the games through the regular emulator outside Launchbox still works perfectly, so it doesn't really seem to be a ROM-issue per sé; more like it is a Launchbox problem. I have only discovered this problem with SNES games (so far); it might be cross-platform, I don't know as of this moment. But since my other emulators appear to play nice with Launchbox, it might be a Launchbox-Snes9X issue... but then again, why would SOME games work at all then; shouldn't it be a general problem if that was the case? Does anybody know anything about this?
  5. Hey guys, first of all let me congratulate you on LaunchBox, absolutely great front-end, it has won me over completely. For the past couple of weeks I have been working tirelessly to find a solution to lazy couch gaming using emulators and it seems that BigBox is ticking almost every box. There is only one real problem that persists now, whenever I press the home button on my PS4 controller, the steam overlay will *sometimes* pop up, not all the time though, when it does it is super slow and laggy sometimes freezing BigBox altogether forcing me to launch task manager. Because I want to use this with my Steam Link it would be ideal to have this problem fixed, just wondering if anyone had any ideas? Thanks! By the way this only seems to happen when on the main screen of BigBox, while using an emulator it seems to work as expected.
