  3. Hey guys. First post Have installed Launchbox and using BigBox on my HTPC with my two bluetooth Gamepads. They are working but they are "sometimes" too sensitive! Ex.: System 1 is selected, press down (short, one time), System 7 is selected, when you press up System 3 is selected!? The gamepads are working fine in any System/Emulator but not in BigBox. Are there any setting too reduce the sensitivity of BigBox's Gamepad implemention? thx pOpY

    Joypad mapping

For emulation in windows. I use dual shock 4 with input mapper. When I map controls (ex. Mame) they get assigned a joy #. But after a couple reboots, the joy number is changed so I have to remap again. Wondering if anyone here can help me
  5. Hi guys so for about a year now im into emulation, slowly building my collection of games and systems. So yesterday i thought it was time to step it up a little bit. for the past i've been using a ps4 controller to control my games. I had a idea to buy system specific controllers. so yesterday i bought a usb nes controller and a snes controller. So while is was setting up i notiched that for one system it worked but once i changed the controller and system it all got messed up again. so thats where i find out asbout custom configs. But now a other problem pops up. i've got all the buttons that are needed mapped properly and saved to the right config but somehow once i go ingame all the buttons mess up again. for example i just have my nes controller mapped as button b to button b button a to button a ect. but ingame button a is fast forward and my start key is exiting the game . I only changed the buttons that where needed everything else is still default. What did i do wrong
  6. Hello, I've recently discovered LaunchBox and immediately loved it. I've spent the last days reading, testing and configuring stuff, the usual. One of the things that I really wanted was to have two controllers working connected (via USB) to my PC running Windows 7 (64 bit). I have a PS3 controller and a generic controller (that I also use with my PS3). Both show up in my device manager: But only the USB Gamepad allows me to successfully test its controls: So I started reading about it and discovered a piece of software called InputMapper. Installed it, watched some videos and read about it and tested it. Unfortunately with the latest version (1.6.10.19991) I never was able to have my controllers recognized, simply nothing showed up: So I kept trying and found found SCP Server : http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller I followed the instructions and soon I had both controllers working, I was able to test them and play games with both at the same time within LaunchBox. Success! Unfortunately, after restarting the computer all is gone again and now I'm back to square one except that I can't have my controllers recognized anymore. In the SCP Monitor all controllers show as "disconnected": So my question is: is there any guide as to how I can do this? Before I had both Input Mapper and the SCP DS3 Server running at the same time, I honestly don't know which was doing the work anymore Thanks
  7. I'll start by stating that I did indeed search and wasn't able to find info on this topic. I apologize if it exists. Issue Wireless Xbox One controllers in Windows 10 stop working in some emulators after a reboot or if controllers are powered off and back on. Steps to Reproduce Connect wireless Xbox One controllers to Windows 10 and verify they work. I connected 4 of them and verified they work via the Windows 10 game controller control panel app. Open each emulator, map controls for each controller, and test by launching a game. Reboot Windows 10, connect controllers, and attempt to play a game in each emulator. Details Dolphin had this issue as well as MAME and either Nestopia or SNES9x (can't remember). My best guess is that Windows 10 assigns some sort of unique device ID to a Wireless Xbox One controller every time it is connected. When configuring the controllers within each emulator they seem to be referencing these controllers as expected; Joy(0), Joy(1), Joy(2), Joy(3). Whether I use 1 controller, or 4, they are always the same 4 controllers so it wouldn't really matter to me which one becomes Joy(0), Joy(1), etc because I could just try each one until I determine which controller is player 1. Unfortunately something is happening that causes the controllers to not respond at all. It is as if they are not configured in the emulators anymore. Re-configuring them works so I assume these controllers just appear to the emulators as a device they have never seen before. Question How can I maintain the controller configuration for these controllers between connections and reboots? Thank you in advance to all who can shed some light on this. (I am using Launchbox and it is awesome but it does not pertain to this issue) My Emulators Nestopia UE 1.47 SNES9x 1.53 Project64 2.3 Dolphin 5.0 MAME 0.175
