I designed some overlays for my 4K TV since I couldn't find any at that resolution at the quality I was looking for. I'm in the process of creating more systems in Photoshop, but the console themed designs take quite a while at 4K resolution. Many of these are inspired by the consoles design, so they aren’t 100% accurate to the source, they are just formatted to look nice as bezels/overlays. These overlays are designed to maximize screen real estate (IE no integer scaling), so there is no gap on the top and bottom of the screen. Use standard 4:3 aspect ratio or custom scaling. So, I won't be creating designs for consoles / handhelds that display primarily in 16:9, as doing that requires shrinking the game. I use the CRT_Geom shader with these settings changed and the screens are curved exactly where they need to be: CRT Geom Curvature Radius: 3.00 CRT Corner Size: 0.00 CRT Geom Sharpness: 3.00

This file contains the complete cover set for all Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) games released in the United Kingdom Region and in the EU cover variant. All files have been collated by myself from the various repositories on the Internet and have been retouched where required and resized to uniform ratio. The quality does vary between the covers based on the source files available but images are scaled to the best quality size available. Image sizes in the pack are: 500x725, 750x1087, 1000x1450, 1500x2147, 2000x2900 If you are aware of better quality variants of the covers in this pack please let me know and I will update the pack as required. It should be noted that all are the original covers with the exception of Lethal Enforcers 2 which I could not find a high enough quality version of and so I have adapted the US cover to the EU style box to make this a complete set.
  5. Hi all, I was wanting to make some 3D boxes for the SEGA Mega Drive that are not in the database. I was watching this tutorial and cannot find a blank template for the Mega Drive / Genesis. Would anyone happen to know where I may obtain one so I can contribute some art to the database? I should mention too that I only want the blank 3D template with no shadowing or spine as I have front covers and spines to add. I know you can get lots of stuff here but they do not seem to have the nice tang tab ones common with the EmuMovies and LaunchBox database. Thank you.

This is a complete Collection of 3D Boxes, 2D Carts and Logos for the Sega Genesis USA Region. The set is named after the 2019 No-Intro Rom set and includes all Betas, Protos and Sega Channel Covers and as a result of the naming convention used with No-Intro there will be a lot duplicate artwork with slightly different naming. The concept behind these No-Intro named packs is that the user can either have seperate systems with an entire library of artwork for each system or choose a region they would prefare and simply overwrite the region artwork that is not wanted as the artwork and roms will have the same names (for example: Japan, USA), doing this will leave a library of artwork with a complete region and only the exclusives would be left for the region that was overwritten, then all that is left is to delete the unwanted Artwork. There are three different versions of 3D Boxes to choose from: Normal, With Plastic Cover, With Plastic Cover and Sheen. A big thanks goes out to @Aorin who put a lot of work into the Logos and helped create artwork for many parts of this project. This project wouldn't of been finished if it wasn't for his help. The great looking carts were made by @WallyWonka and I have added and made many of my own using his templates. Though some of the naming may seem a bit strange in some instances, LaunchBox and Emumovies will download the correct information and videos for all games. These are some platform videos I have made to fill gaps in my setup that had not previously been done. I use Viking's Nostalgia theme, so the videos are in that style. They might not be as great as Viking's quality work but they do the job. I like to split some of my systems up into different categories/platforms. As the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive is my favorite system I have split it up into what you will find here. Sega Mega Drive (Brazil) Sega Mega Drive (China) Sega Mega Drive (Homebrew) Sega Mega Drive (Japan) Sega Mega Drive (Prototypes) Sega Mega Drive (Sega Game Toshokan) Sega Mega Drive (Sonic Hacks) Sega Mega Drive (SOR Hacks) Sega Mega Drive (Translations) Sega Mega Drive (Unlicensed) Here are the rest: Applied Technology MicroBee Cybiko Cybiko Cybiko Xtreme Doom Doujin Fujitsu FM-7 Galaksija IBM PCjr Infocom Interact Family Computer Microsoft MSX Turbo-R NEC PC Engine CD NEC PC-6001 Philips P2000T Philips Videopac+ PopCap Sega Master System (Brazil) Sharp MZ-700 Tangerine Oric Tatung Einstein TC-01 Thomson MO5 Thomson TO7 Thomson TO8 Videoton TV-Computer VTech Laser 200 Sorry about the file sizes as they are bigger than the norm. I did not know how to get them as small as Viking's, but size is not an issue with my computer so I apologize if it is with yours. Here are some of the custom logos I have done for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive:

To commemorate the upcoming Genesis Mini, I created some new 4K overlays. Some of these will be fine for other systems, but they match the 80s / 90s Genesis style best. These are inspired by the official overlays, but by no means exact copies. To use, enable integer scaling, and use 4:3 apect ratio.

  14. Sega Genesis 3D Box Art View File Ok. So I tried to be as creative with this set as possible. There were alot of different packaging variants for the Sega Genesis. I think I got all of them right. Slide covers, unfold covers, pull offs, and Cases. I included tons of Hack Cases I made from scratch. I Included 3 different variants for Revenge of shinobi, as there are different versions for that game with significant differences! I hope you guys enjoy this pack, It's one of my favorite ones I've worked on I will upload the other Sega Mega Drive Regions soon. Submitter RetroKenesis Submitted 05/12/2018 Category Game Box Art

Sega Genesis / Megadrive Mini is a 2019 piece of SEGA hardware, with 42 games included. This is the platform video for your Launchbox. Then I added the Japanese Mega Drive release of Tetris to the playlist. Then I changed the front box artwork manually to the new boxes from Sega's website (http://genesismini.sega.com/ ). The two new covers are included here, at the bottom. Hi everyone, a very little contribution ... Cut it and paste in .\LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\###\Banner ###: the name of your system Useless part, my reasons: I wanted to do a hyperspin theme before, but finally I prefer the BigBox, I do not know if I could customize as I wish. But for the while, with some of my work, I made this icon for the menu launcher. I hope you enjoy. I keep the same idea as the basic model that shows "16-bit ...." I found it very cool ... I hope to come back to post a theme for BigBox, which mean that I did what I want to do (animate a background with a grid of neon scrolling made with blender and some other things...). This is the first version of the system, my pretty machine, I cleaned it regulary with specific oil (really ^ ^) to maintain its brightness ... I think it must be the European version, or PAL. In any case, it was the one we have in France ... the red was the 60hz (U.S version for us), knowed to not to have the cropped image and to be a little faster. It's a tribute for this legendary machine for me... As you can see it's not called "genesis" but "megadrive", another difference. Cya and sorry for my english.

  25. Additional Nostalgia Platform Videos View File These are some platform videos I have made to fill gaps in my setup that had not previously been done. Here are some of the custom logos I have done for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive: Submitter Dane Submitted 08/12/2018 Category Platform Theme Videos
