Hello, all! I recently decided to overhaul my Launchbox setup, and rework it to incorporate Aftermarket Releases in a way the makes more sense. I decided on two primary categories - Official Releases and Aftermarket Releases: Official Releases are pretty much what you would expect. Aftermarket Releases then goes on to Hacked Games, Original Games, Translations, and Unreleased Games - I wrote up descriptions to accompany each subcategory (also included in txt files). I included a screenshot of my Platform Categories to help make sense of it. Once I decided on that, I set out to find Clear Logos to match, and either struck out, or what I'd seen wasn't fitting with the rest of my system, so I decided to make my own cohesive set that also included your standard Favorites, Collections and Playlists These clear logos and descriptions are meant to be platform agnostic so that I could use them for every platform in my collection that has these aftermarket releases.-

These are some platform videos I have made to fill gaps in my setup that had not previously been done. I use Viking's Nostalgia theme, so the videos are in that style. They might not be as great as Viking's quality work but they do the job. I like to split some of my systems up into different categories/platforms. As the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive is my favorite system I have split it up into what you will find here. Sega Mega Drive (Brazil) Sega Mega Drive (China) Sega Mega Drive (Homebrew) Sega Mega Drive (Japan) Sega Mega Drive (Prototypes) Sega Mega Drive (Sega Game Toshokan) Sega Mega Drive (Sonic Hacks) Sega Mega Drive (SOR Hacks) Sega Mega Drive (Translations) Sega Mega Drive (Unlicensed) Here are the rest: Applied Technology MicroBee Cybiko Cybiko Cybiko Xtreme Doom Doujin Fujitsu FM-7 Galaksija IBM PCjr Infocom Interact Family Computer Microsoft MSX Turbo-R NEC PC Engine CD NEC PC-6001 Philips P2000T Philips Videopac+ PopCap Sega Master System (Brazil) Sharp MZ-700 Tangerine Oric Tatung Einstein TC-01 Thomson MO5 Thomson TO7 Thomson TO8 Videoton TV-Computer VTech Laser 200 Sorry about the file sizes as they are bigger than the norm. I did not know how to get them as small as Viking's, but size is not an issue with my computer so I apologize if it is with yours. Here are some of the custom logos I have done for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive:- 2 comments

Created using the Silver Ring template made available by @viking I use "Homebrew" as a platform category in Launchbox to encompass OpenBOR, MUGEN, as well as mods, hacks and fan-made content for other consoles. I spent hours looking, but could not, for the life of me, find a silver ring clear logo that just said "Homebrew" so I made one! I created this using the logo for the Wii's "The Homebrew Channel" as a nod to my first console softmod back in the day. I hope someone finds this handy!-

I may add more as I come across them. Esteemed Contributors, please attempt to adhere to the following when attempting to change or add new information (screenshots/art are usually exempt): PROVIDE SOURCES!!!!!! Best to provide at least 2 sources, for more information on Primary and Secondary sources please visit https://libguides.merrimack.edu/research_help/Sources. ESRB rating should never be changed to the blank option, instead pick "Not Rated". For more information please visit https://www.esrb.org/ratings-guide/, https://www.tidewatergames.com/esrb-ratings-guide, and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entertainment_Software_Rating_Board. If the game was made prior to September 16, 1994 there will be no ESRB rating, thus select "Not Rated". In addition, all ROM hacks and Homebrews haven't been rated by ESRB. The blank option is for when adding a game if you don't know the answer and don't have time to look it up. All ROM Hacks won't have a Publisher, they do have a Designer, sometimes multiple. Most Homebrews won't have a Publisher, rare exceptions. Humble Moderators, please attempt to adhere to the following when accepting or rejecting changes: Reject, if no sources are provided (unless you have the time to search for sources to verify each change that doesn't provide sources). Be responsible by clicking that link to verify that the link is associated with the entry/content it is attached to. Pay attention to details, especially requested changes of any images. If the requested ESRB Rating change is to the blank option, reject it. If the requested change has "No Reason Provided" be wary and the majority of the time refer to the first bullet point (exceptions are most screenshots/art). Suggested changes to https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com: Display username of the contributor next to the requested change in moderation queue. Display username of the contributor next to the current information in moderation queue. Show somewhere which moderators approved/rejected content changes (accountability). Don't allow users to see this: it shouldn't be a competition (even if you can only see your own numbers) Moderation should be done for the sake of DB integrity. Don't allow users to see this: it shouldn't be a competition (even if you can only see your own numbers) Contribution should be done for the sake of DB integrity. Note: I purposely made two changes that were completely and utterly incorrect to see if moderators were paying attention; to the 5 people who approved each of those changes, I have since gone back and requested a change to the correct information, approved again. Require sources. Add option for Moderators to pick which game systems will appear in moderation queue. This way we may have specialists. Simple tick/check boxes would work. Notes: At least from using ARC Browser in conjunction with https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com, on my GPD XD +, I have found that the "Wikipedia" link section doesn't do anything, except allow you to click on it for more information about the game. Which leads me to believe it doesn't have to be a Wikipedia link. Recently tested my theory with a non-Wikipedia link, works. It's exhausting to see correct information changed to completely incorrect information and having to go back to edit. Thank you for your time, Vloshko (Pokemon ROM Hack nerd) edit 1: punctuation edit 2: added a bullet point to "Suggested changes to https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com" section.

Custom Platform Clear Logos View File Thought I would share in case anyone else is interested in using any of these. These are some of my custom Platform Clear Logos/Wheel Art. Some of these are from platforms that did not have adequate art. Though, most are sub-categories of platforms as I like to break some of my systems up in regions, unlicensed classes and other miscellaneous. I use Viking's Nostalgia videos and plan on making custom background videos to go with some of these in the future. Submitter Dane Submitted 04/01/2018 Category Platform Clear Logos
