Ever since the introduction of the screenshot grabber. I've been having a strange issue with certain cores in retroarch. Mainly cores for computers with keyboards. Also requests to save Phantom screenshots after exiting. Its as if my joypad movements are sending keyboard commands to retroarch. It renders the spectrum fuse core unusable. Its definitely a launchbox issue as it all works fine in an earlier version (which i have setup separately & not updated). Also works fine when running retroarch alone. I've changed nothing in settings. I don't have my pad set to do anything like this in launchbox settings either. Strange

Hi guys, i have a problem with the controller order on W10. I built a retrogame consolle (it's just a PC with a nice case) with BigBox and lot of things inside. Pretty good, what's the matter.... sometimes, randomly but most of time when i move my consolle from on TV to another, W10 changes the controller order.... 1 becomes 2 and viceversa. Is there a way to finally fix the controller order in W10? I searched on web but nothing usefull. Thank you very much.

I have an IPAC Ultimate in an arcade cabinet, and would like to use the following with Mame and RetroArch - Two 8 way 6 button digital setups (P1, P2) - Up to 2 PS3 controllers (Xinput as X360) - One Thrustmaster wheel (recognized as wheel, but could be mapped to joypad) - One Dolphinbar with 2x wiimotes (used as real wiimote for wii games, and as a mouse for MAME shooters) Any thoughts or best practice keyboard layouts? Walkthroughts that helped you, maybe? Should I say to hell with the whole thing and use a software like XPadder? I'm trying to create a key bind that works for all emulators is proving to be a huge headache. Thanks for your input

Hi, I've been enjoying the bigbox a bit, but I have a problem I don't like many games defaults keys, I'm using a Windows Generic USB Joypad (Mediacom) for instance Street fighter ones I would replace the strong kick punches since it's misplaced. For games with two buttons (shoot and jump or shoot and special attack I would use a different combo (for some games that require pressing two or more buttons for specials I would like to bind a single button to that combos example: Final Fight or King of Fighters), and so on with games with 4 keys. I would like to make changes to joypad buttons definition on the fly or maybe moving around different layouts while in game, using shortcuts/scripts or something. I'm using RetroArch as the base emulator, any idea on how to achieve something like this ? I ask because I think it would be painful to do it by hands by searching game by game, and assigning a config to this another to that and so on, it would also require to test it individually, instead doing it on the fly swapping button definitions would be pretty useful, possibly with a screen overlay that would be pretty cool.

I'll start by stating that I did indeed search and wasn't able to find info on this topic. I apologize if it exists. Issue Wireless Xbox One controllers in Windows 10 stop working in some emulators after a reboot or if controllers are powered off and back on. Steps to Reproduce Connect wireless Xbox One controllers to Windows 10 and verify they work. I connected 4 of them and verified they work via the Windows 10 game controller control panel app. Open each emulator, map controls for each controller, and test by launching a game. Reboot Windows 10, connect controllers, and attempt to play a game in each emulator. Details Dolphin had this issue as well as MAME and either Nestopia or SNES9x (can't remember). My best guess is that Windows 10 assigns some sort of unique device ID to a Wireless Xbox One controller every time it is connected. When configuring the controllers within each emulator they seem to be referencing these controllers as expected; Joy(0), Joy(1), Joy(2), Joy(3). Whether I use 1 controller, or 4, they are always the same 4 controllers so it wouldn't really matter to me which one becomes Joy(0), Joy(1), etc because I could just try each one until I determine which controller is player 1. Unfortunately something is happening that causes the controllers to not respond at all. It is as if they are not configured in the emulators anymore. Re-configuring them works so I assume these controllers just appear to the emulators as a device they have never seen before. Question How can I maintain the controller configuration for these controllers between connections and reboots? Thank you in advance to all who can shed some light on this.
