I finally found an ideal solution to best use the MAME 0.195 Retroarch Core with all the games , However, it remains the last problem to be fixed, namely: All games accept the commands that mainly imposed in retroarch, except for the MVS NEO GEO games that reverse the 1 key with the 2 button. Now, we're lucky that Launchbox separates all the MVS games into one group, so I could try to run only those games with retroarch's CORE OF FINAL BURN , and then assign the precise commands for this core. . I created a new platform called "NEOGEO" where the PATH for emulation was retroarch. I assigned -L "cores \ finalburn etc etc" I selected all the MVS roms from the launchbox, -> Edit -> Emulator. And so I assigned NEOGEO (ie launchbox with finalburn). . I do not know why, the games do not start. Double click and nothing starts. I can not understand where I'm wrong. The roms are from the 0.195 version of MAME, and finalBurn is the latest version of retroarch1.7.1 Any Help ? PS. The problem of aspect Ration , is DRIVER DX 11 , Work perfect with DX 12 , Vulkan etc.

Launchbox with Retroarch with MAME2014 Libretro core I took a long break from configuring my arcade machine and recently dived back into it. I am running into a problem that I cannot seem to find an answer to so I thought I would come here to see if someone could help. The issue is that when I load up a game in Launcbox using the MAME2014 core, the global buttons are not being used by default, instead the buttons for the specific machine that I load are the ones being used. However, this is obviously very inconvenient because every time I fire up a game I have to go in and change each machines buttons configs through the quick menu screen within mame. Is there a setting that allows for all machine settings to be overwriting global settings?

Im trying to assign all of my buttons on my ipac4 within mame. The player 2 joystick down command is registered as key F. The problem is that within mame the F button is the full screen/window mode command. Is there a way to disable this within mame somewhere so that I can use the F button as my down button for player 2? Pressing tab to quick menu does not seem to show this at all.

Hi there! I use a blissbox 4play for all my console emulation needs. It's a 4-player adapter for many different pads. Get your's here if you haven't already: http://skunx7.wixsite.com/bliss-box Thanks to Launchbox I found out about retroarch/libretro and I think if used together with a blissbox 4play, it can be to console emulation what the mame+i-pac/x-arcade combination is to arcade emulation. I came up with a button scheme for the bliss-box https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1On1y5miyK5zQGnIe0r9fRRuUGV5Pr3OShv4IB1_c5Yg/edit#gid=0 that maps the pads connected to the blissbox to the corresponding RetroPad acccording to this scheme I found in the retropie wiki https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/retroarch-configuration If I got the layout right (please help me by pointing out any mistakes I made in my spreadsheet) this should allow for a true plug and play experience if used with libretro. I talked with the creator of the 4play and he said if enough people are interested he might add support for the libretro layout. He even made a facebook post about it: https://www.facebook.com/blissboxadapter/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE&fref=nf
