  3. I have my problems with Sinden lightgun. I have to reassign all the buttons every time I start mame. That is terribly unwieldy. In the mame.ini I have entered the required settings and unlocked them. the Lighgun.cfg is also in the required folder. But for every game I have to reassign the buttons and the global settings are not accepted. I wanted to configure the following fix Player 1 has binding with xbox controller 1 Player 2 has binding with xbox controller 2 Player 3 has binding with sinden lightgun 1 Player 4 has binding with sinden lightgun 2 But this does not work at all after configuring and restarting neither the controller for the payer 1 2, 3, 4 or the Sinden button binding is recognized, so you have to enter everything again before playing. Does anyone have a tip / script for me how I can save the fix so with the game controller binding as a global setting that applies to for every game then if I have not set it specifically per game. And if I plug in a controller that this is fixed e.g. as Player 1 is connected with the settings? And what I also do not find is a tutorial on how to use the sinden in Retroarch, because many mame games also work in Retroarch where the button binding works very well, daurm I have thought to play the shooter for mame in Retroarch and there to configure the sinden? Is there an update planed to confgure sinden in Bigbox launchbox Like same as for the Gamecontroller?
  4. Not sure where to get help with this but i cant get the aimtrak to work in mame core. I can play with the mouse but as soon as i pull the gun up it the crosshair freaks out. i can get it to work on the standalone mame emulator but it stutters too much. Any help would be great.
  5. I’m having trouble configuring my Aimtrak lightgun to work in Launchbox. I set it up in windows 10 without any problems. I then went into MameUI64 and set it up without any problems. I am able to hit tab, and configure the gun to the controls I want without any issues, but when I launch the game from Launchbox, it’s picking it up as a mouse on the screen. I’ve tried and tried to hit tab, and configure the controls for the gun with no avail. It will configure the trigger and 2 side buttons, but I cannot get the gun to register the X and Y axis. It pops up on my screen as a mouse cursor and I can move it on the screen, but I can’t get it to register to the X and Y axis. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
  6. I decided to re-post this because my last thread got a bit messy with all the changes I had made to the videos and logos over time, The collection is still not as good as I would like as simple a concept as these videos are but I'm happier with the way it is for now. I will take requests. This is a collection of mostly Console based Genre Intro Videos I have made (Point & Click and Simulation is PC though). The concept is to make the videos fit with @letstalkaboutdune's Arcade Genre collection though there are some slight differences. Big thanks to letstalkaboutdune for his help and his Beat 'em up, Shoot 'em up, Puzzle, Fighting, Platform, Racing, Sports and Run & Gun Logos. Thanks to @Mute64 for his LightGun Logo. The other Logos are either Hyperspin logos or were made by me. Many thanks to the EmuMovies community and the HyperSpin community. The video files are hosted at EmuMovies. Showcase: The Individual Video files can be downloaded here: My Playlists/Genres can be found here, they are not perfect but a good start
  7. This is a demo of the new playlist feature in Launchbox/Bigbox utilizing a custom Hyperspin lightgun recorded video theme I made. Part of the problem with using Rocketlauncer and Launchbox is the naming issue where Rocketlauncher uses strict naming conventions for each platform. The Playlist feature overcomes this obstacle since Rocketlauncher still uses the platform xml and ignores whatever the playlist is named. This is not really the intended use of the playlist feature, but it is a nice by-product. The great thing about playlists is that you can add any game from any platform into a playlist. While this playlist is currently only MAME games, I could (and will in the future) add any lightgun game from any platform. The Hyperspin Lightgun theme was found in the Hyperspin FTP under the user rdhanded2's folder (although I can't seem to find it now). Thank you rdhanded2 for preserving it. The theme was created by THK and Subzero and discussed in this thread - http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forums/topic/405-shooting-game-theme/ . I didn't like the logo that was used in the theme so I created my own and added it to the theme before recording the video. I will include the logo in the download folder so it can also be used as a Wheel/Clear Logo in Hyperspin or Bigbox. Rocketlauncher fades courtesy of Retrohumanoid - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeP60Vc-kRYCiJ1y2PvxryA Very special thanks to Chuck from Maverick's Arcade for his tutorials on getting Aimtrak lightguns set up on a cabinet. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKQosbJTKWjhxNEYpIXSp4Q This video theme along with the wheel image/clear logo can be found in the link below. I've also included my custom All Killer - No Filler style bat file for extracting lightgun games from your full rom sets. The list probably needs some love so if there are any games that you think need to be included, (or any stinkers that should be removed) let me know below and I'll get them on there. You can the bat file from here as well. https://mega.nz/#F!XwQzVKiJ!LILz81kKfirq1bai_Ug6ww
  8. I am keen to get the steam controller integrated into my LaunchBox/Bigbox setup. I like the controller and love the idea of using the gyro to work with light gun games in MAME and other systems My initial attempts have been dismal although a bit of digging has led me to a couple of useful and interesting posts http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=753876809 from the Launchbox forums "Cammelspit" and https://www.reddit.com/r/MAME/comments/4d1kkr/steam_controller_configuration_for_mame/ The later is full of ideas but I am not sure how to create the profiles at the moment I know the Steam Controller is a pain to set up but wondered what thoughts anyone had on this before I start investing more time I'm not sure what is possible given the lack of flexibility the SC has on non Steam games, but if would be great if Jason could build some support directly into LaunchBox/Bigbox

This is an All Killer - No Filler style bat file for lightgun games. Simply place the bat file in you roms folder and double click to run. It will automatically create a lightgun folder and copy the lightgun roms to that folder. List was created by me Jay Thompson, and is probably missing some good games (Terminator 2 is missing for example) but it will get you started. Let me know if there are any games that obviously belong in here that I missed. The original lists exclude Lightgun Games and Trackball Games as part of the no filler mantra. A lot of folks have lightguns on their cabinet so I felt it in the best interest of the community to go ahead and make this. Interested in more All Killer-No Fillers lists? Check out this thread at byoac - http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=149708.0 . And this one by @lordmonkushttps://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/282-no-filler-mame-rom-copy-182/ .
