How can I launch N64DD games from launchbox/bigbox? Or is it at all possible? I've tried googling it and searched all over for the past few hours and I havent found anything. I can get the games to launch in retroarch using the mupen64 core, but when I select them on launchbox nothing happens. Is there a command I'm missing or something? Thanks in advance!!!

1920X1080 Base resolution Fully compatible with the overlay AUTO-SCALE option Animated controller buttons Optional In-screen tube borders (bezel) Dark Theme Portrait Mode included Animated Fast-Forward Button (only on portrait mode) MEGA BEZEL PRESETS (Light and Dark) MEGA BEZEL PRESETS DARK LIGHT RECOMMENDED LANDSCAPE MODE SETTINGS OVERLAY SETTINGS: Enable the AUTO SCALE OVERLAY option. As this overlay is made by elements that stick to the edges, no matter what resolution is used. With this, the overlay won't look deformed if it's not used on a 16:9 display. Set "Show Inputs on Overlay" to "Physical (controller)" Or to "OFF" if overlay flashes on button presses. On the overlay settings set the OVERLAY OPACITY TO 1.0 VIDEO SCALING FOR LANDSCAPE/HORIZONTAL MODE For an aspect ratio screen of 16:9 set the video scaling to 4:3 non integer. And go Full screen. RECOMMENDED PORTRAIT MODE SETTINGS OVERLAY SETTINGS (NOT NEEDED IN UPDATE 1.1) Use the same Overlay setting as for landscape mode. But Also Enable the AUTO ROTATE OVERLAY setting And in your phone enable the AUTO- ROTATION TOGGLE. This would auto switch the overlay to landscape if its hold horizontally, and auto switch to portrait mode if its held vertically. If for some reason it wont switch to portrait mode, and it stays in the landscape mode on the middle of the screen, I added a button on top " SWITCH TO PORTRAIT MODE" touch/click that to force the portrait mode. VIDEO SCALING FOR PORTRAIT MODE For some reason, Auto scaling for portrait overlays is only functional in horizontal elements. Meaning that vertical elements, wont align or stick to the top and bottom of the display. With this in mind, i made the portrait overlay with only horizontal elements. I tested this overlay on phones with screens of an aspect ratio of 16:9, 18.5:9 and 20:9. With these results: - On a screen ratio display of 16:9 set video scaling to 16:10 - On a screen ratio of 18.5:9 and 20:9 set video scaling to 4:3 NOTE ABOUT ANIMATED RESET AND FAST FORWARD BUTTONS RetroArch only allows to "animate" controller buttons, so to "cheat" this limitation, and create an animated non controller buttons, i used a combination of controller buttons. For example if you push in you controller the buttons R3+Y you'll see the reset button animate, but the emulator won't reset. (set a combination hotkey if you want it to). For the FAST FORWARD button, i set it to the R2 button, as i use that button in general for that function. -

Hey Guys, Just like the new high-res N64 carts, here are all 296 released NTSC Nintendo 64 box art fronts. These are all high-res and are all a uniform size. They are much better then what is currently out there. I have decided to do this set because N64 could use some love and these are all accurate to what was released. I have named them using the no-intro naming scheme (as all my files will eventually be updated to this format). When dropping these in your Launchbox build there are a handful that do not auto-load; you will have to manually update your game name in Launchbox. If anyone notices any issues or anything let me know otherwise enjoy! -

Hey all, I am back again with another set of carts! Here are all 501official released NTSC Nintendo Game Boy front carts. These are all high-res and much better and more accurate then what is currently out there (The current set actually uses stretched box arts and not cart art). Also unique to this set compared to whats out there is an actual accurate cart template, correct wording "this side out" on the right of the cart compared to the other set, and each cart has its correct DMG number. I have named them using the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there are a handful that may not auto-load; you will have to manually update your game name in Launchbox. (Now with alternate naming this should correct any issues.) If anyone notices any issues or anything let me know (Especially doing 501 carts... there potentially could be an error with a DMG number but they SHOULD be good.) Enjoy!!!! Also, you may down load my matching Nintendo Game Boy box fronts here.- 2 comments

Project 64 1.6 won't run when I choose a ROM in Launchbox. I tried making a batch file and pointing to that like in this thread https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/28760-project64/ but it didn't help. Is there a fix that doesn't require me to download another version of PJ64? I don't want to risk getting malware. When I try to launch PS1 games PCSXR comes up like it's being run itself and I have to choose the game manually through the PCSXR menu. Is there a configuration to get games to launch without actually showing the emulator/background? The PC is a cheap old eMachines Windows 7 PC with a crappy integrated nvidia card from like 9 years ago, so I'm stuck with these two emulators. Can only run 2D Retroarch cores (so no n64/ps1 cores even though they work fine on Ubuntu. Guessing it's a lack of OpenGL or something, PCSXR needs D3D plugins to run full speed with Windows).

A set of MSU-1 Covers, in the UGC format. *UPDATE* New V2 pack, all covers so far now in two seperate packs, Single case or Dual case, You can use one or the other, or if like me you can use both. The Reflection effect has been removed, this was asked for a few times.. 60+ cases had some changes made to the front covers using the correct MSU logo's ie, Super Famicom games now using a Super Famicom Logo instead of the Super Nintendo one. All cases to date are in these packs, and as far as im aware, this covers every game that has had an MSU-1 Patch. There are 2 sets Single Faced - 292 Covers, most have alternates using the USA/JPN and PAL cover styles Double Faced - 293 Covers, most have alternates using the USA/JPN and PAL cover styles. These covers are not meant to be accurate representations of the original boxes, these are customs and are to be treated as such. The naming is standard Launchbox/Super Nintendo Game names, so unless you have them named different, you should be able to drag and drop into the Box - 3D folder. (i recommend if you have my older boxes to remove them, and start fresh.) (Note: Boxes are labeled using one of the options Single or Dual, if you want to use both sets, you will need to manually edit each title in LB and drag the new extra box(s) over and set it to 3D Box.) A lot of these covers came from http://thecoverproject.net . Covers that did not exist i tried to make as carefully as i could. I am no artist, all the images contained in these Cases are from the net and are made by more talented people than myself, i make these primarily for myself, so i hope you like them, and will use them.- 3 comments

I present a labor-of-love. It is a project that I have been working on for a while. It is part-theme and part-playlist. Basically, it's a historical look through Nintendo's console history with playlists designed to capture the best of every release (in 20, 50, and 100 game lists). Included in the zip file are customized clear logos, XML playlist files, and downloaded Youtube commercials. The Best of Nintendo - Please check out the video and let me know what you think. Notes: *I started by aggregating data into spreadsheets for each console. Based upon review scores, polls, and web lists, I created my own lists of the best, most important, successful, or under-appreciated games for each console. Spreadsheets with sources here. Best of Nintendo Home Consoles Best of Handheld Consoles If you feel these lists are criminally incorrect, please let me know. *I created clear logos for each playlist. I used a variety of sources from the web and the clear logo collection in the Unified theme pack as starting resources. I haven't used Photoshop in quite a while, but it was fun getting back into it. If you have any requests or suggestions regarding the logos, please let me know. *Then I scoured Youtube seeking interesting and funny commercials for each platform. Clearly, I could not find many of them in high quality. For many videos, I had to edit out intros or outros. Apologies to original uploaders for not giving proper credit. If anyone has suggestions or higher quality versions of these commercials, please let me know. *Grabbed general console information from Wikipedia - slight editing. *Used a combination of the excellent Unified theme, Coverbox theme, Famicom theme , and BG Clean theme for the game lists. *Obviously Game & Watch is not a real top 10 - I'm still waiting on Mame to start emulating some of the more popular releases. *Nintendo 3DS and Wii U are limited to top 20 for now. Also waiting for emulation to catch up with these newer platforms. *Big thanks to Colpipes78 for the great set-ups, implementing Rocket Launcher, media, roms, and making my life (and many others) a thousand times easier. I hope some of you find parts of it useful. Next - Sega or Sony? -

Back once again with another "2.5D" set of art work. Other sets do exist out there that are similar to mine however the difference here is the colors are more accurate, the resolution is higher and the set is uniform. This set will be part of a uniform series with more platforms to come that use the same exact DVD case style template along with same size dimensions and high resolution artwork. This set like all of my sets includes a uniform "Wii U" banner when scrolling through your games for nice uniformity. This is all 166 released NTSC Wii U games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few images to your liking. Also contained within this set is a second folder with 5 games that received a red case variant release. This should cover anything but as always if anyone notices any errors please let me know. Enjoy! -

I designed some overlays for my 4K TV since I couldn't find any at that resolution at the quality I was looking for. I'm in the process of creating more systems in Photoshop, but the console themed designs take quite a while at 4K resolution. Many of these are inspired by the consoles design, so they aren’t 100% accurate to the source, they are just formatted to look nice as bezels/overlays. These overlays are designed to maximize screen real estate (IE no integer scaling), so there is no gap on the top and bottom of the screen. Use standard 4:3 aspect ratio or custom scaling. So, I won't be creating designs for consoles / handhelds that display primarily in 16:9, as doing that requires shrinking the game. I use the CRT_Geom shader with these settings changed and the screens are curved exactly where they need to be: CRT Geom Curvature Radius: 3.00 CRT Corner Size: 0.00 CRT Geom Sharpness: 3.00
