This is my first Platform video. I hope you guys like it. I noticed a major lack of platform videos here, so I was planning on creating more to go with my favorite consoles, including a separate version for Sega CD to differentiate from Genesis/Mega Drive. It features gameplay done by me, so don't be too harsh on my Ninja Gaiden, and TMNT skill, lol. Hope you enjoy it, and look for more in the future. Stylized to be somewhat retro, and tacky just like like the era that was defined by this system. Please let me know what you think of it, and I can adjust my next video accordingly.

  4. Nintendo - MSU-1 3D Cases (Single and Dual Covers) (501) View File A NEW set of MSU-1 Covers, in the style of Cases rather than the Blu-Ray Style. There are 2 sets Single Faced - 250 Covers, most have alternates using the USA/JPN and PAL cover styles Double Faced - 251 Covers, most have alternates using the USA/JPN and PAL cover styles, All back covers are covered with proper information. These covers are not meant to be accurate representations of the original boxes, these are customs and are to be treated as such. You will need to add these covers manually, and i suggest if using these with the Unified theme to grab the Disc images i have also done. (Note if you do this, you will need to remove the Cart image folders, as the SNES system auto looks for carts before Disc's. These covers will be replacing the Blu-Ray covers going forward. If you would still like the Blu-Ray versions then please message me, and i can help you make them yourself. A lot of these covers came from http://thecoverproject.net . Covers that did not exist i tried to make as carefully as i could. I am no artist, all the images contained in these Cases are from the net and are made by more talented people than myself, i make these primarily for myself, so i hope you like them, and will use them. 5. Hi there! I am using retroarch for emulating the Nintendo DS with Desmume core, the problem is that when i try to use the analog for the stick the control seems inverted. Like moving the analog Up and Down move the cursor from right to left, and moving the analog Left and Right move the cursor up and down. this problem come only with desmume core (as I tried with N64 emulation and everything goes well). I need some help 😅. Thanks for the answer.

I designed some overlays for my 4K TV since I couldn't find any at that resolution at the quality I was looking for. I'm in the process of creating more systems in Photoshop, but the console themed designs take quite a while at 4K resolution. Many of these are inspired by the consoles design, so they aren’t 100% accurate to the source, they are just formatted to look nice as bezels/overlays. These overlays are designed to maximize screen real estate (IE no integer scaling), so there is no gap on the top and bottom of the screen. Use standard 4:3 aspect ratio or custom scaling. So, I won't be creating designs for consoles / handhelds that display primarily in 16:9, as doing that requires shrinking the game. I use the CRT_Geom shader with these settings changed and the screens are curved exactly where they need to be: CRT Geom Curvature Radius: 3.00 CRT Corner Size: 0.00 CRT Geom Sharpness: 3.00

I present a labor-of-love. It is a project that I have been working on for a while. It is part-theme and part-playlist. Basically, it's a historical look through Nintendo's console history with playlists designed to capture the best of every release (in 20, 50, and 100 game lists). Included in the zip file are customized clear logos, XML playlist files, and downloaded Youtube commercials. The Best of Nintendo - Please check out the video and let me know what you think. Notes: *I started by aggregating data into spreadsheets for each console. Based upon review scores, polls, and web lists, I created my own lists of the best, most important, successful, or under-appreciated games for each console. Spreadsheets with sources here. Best of Nintendo Home Consoles Best of Handheld Consoles If you feel these lists are criminally incorrect, please let me know. *I created clear logos for each playlist. I used a variety of sources from the web and the clear logo collection in the Unified theme pack as starting resources. I haven't used Photoshop in quite a while, but it was fun getting back into it. If you have any requests or suggestions regarding the logos, please let me know. *Then I scoured Youtube seeking interesting and funny commercials for each platform. Clearly, I could not find many of them in high quality. For many videos, I had to edit out intros or outros. Apologies to original uploaders for not giving proper credit. If anyone has suggestions or higher quality versions of these commercials, please let me know. *Grabbed general console information from Wikipedia - slight editing. *Used a combination of the excellent Unified theme, Coverbox theme, Famicom theme , and BG Clean theme for the game lists. *Obviously Game & Watch is not a real top 10 - I'm still waiting on Mame to start emulating some of the more popular releases. *Nintendo 3DS and Wii U are limited to top 20 for now. Also waiting for emulation to catch up with these newer platforms. *Big thanks to Colpipes78 for the great set-ups, implementing Rocket Launcher, media, roms, and making my life (and many others) a thousand times easier. I hope some of you find parts of it useful. Next - Sega or Sony?

    NINTENDO DS 3D BOXES

    Version 1.0.0

"These are available through Emumovies Sync. This is a collection of simple Nintendo DS 3D boxes based off a complete Hyperlist set of roms as imported into LaunchBox. The collection is almost complete there is one missing here and there but only because the artwork is not available online. For some reason many games have a double (-01 and a -02 file name), this is how LaunchBox imported the original 2D covers I used to make these boxes and in order to insure I had all covers possible I have left the doubles in the collection as going through well over 2000 games would take a very long time. I know emumovies already has a perfectly good 3D set for the DS but I personally like my 3D boxes to face in the same direction. My No-Intro named set can be found at Emumovies here: https://emumovies.com/files/file/2616-nintendo-ds-3d-boxes/

    NES HACKS!

Hey Everyone. Here is a sneak peak of some things to come in my NES Hack pack in the future! I completed a Roll-Chan set with a template I made, and also some Metroid Boxes i'm proud of. Everything is from the ground up. Upon release, I will include Wheel art for all of my customs so no need to worry! I don't care if you "save as" but, you will receive much better quality when the pack is released. Samples Below, thanks for your time

Hi there, this is the second theme that I made as an extension to the excellent Coverbox themes made by @faeran if you want more platform-specific themes, go check out his Coverbox main theme down below. I recommend using this with Coverbox. However, this theme is different compared to others that it's actually a theme that only plays when you are on the Wii U game selection screen. In order to make it work you have to do the following: (Before starting Big Box, go to Launchbox/Themes/Coverbox - Nintendo DS/Fonts and install the Nintendo-DS-BIOS.ttf font in order to properly display the theme) 1. Head over to Options in the Big Box Menu 2. Scroll down to Keyboard Shortcuts 3. Look through the list of options until you find "Switch Theme". 4. Choose a key for the shortcut and head over to your Nintendo DS Platform Game Selection Screen 5. Press the Key and choose the theme from the list that pops up. 6. Congratulations you now have a Nintendo DS Theme that launches no matter what another theme you're using. I hope that this theme will help you show off your Wii U collection even more and I will soon upload Wii U Video Snaps so stay tuned. My Nintendo Wii U Coverbox Theme: Link to Coverbox by @faeran
