Does the Emumovie video have to have the exact title name for it to play? I have the Spanish region of "Pokemon - Crystal Edition". It's called "Pokemon - Edicion Cristal" and since it doesn't have the same title, the video doesn't play.

When I try to add a game with the same name, but a different region, Launchbox does not detect new games added on the platform. It happens to me on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System platform, when I add Jurassic Park (Spain). It seems that since the Jurassic Park (USA) rom already exists, it ignores it. For it to work I must remove Jurassic Park (USA) and add both versions at the same time. So when I scan for new roms in the folder it detects both games if I check the "Force import of duplicate roms" option.

Hello everyone, i'm new to launchbox and trying to figure some things out. I've been searching for a while and couldn't find an answer. I've imported my roms for many platforms and the problem i'm facing is that for some games i have two or three different region roms e.g. Europe and US. Launchbox by default prioritizes those from Europe and i can't find a way to change it so it defaults to US. Also in region priorities it is on top but still that does nothing. If i go to edit and then additional apps i can choose default from there but i can't find a way to do it massively.

Dear all, I am working now for over a year with Launchbox plus BigBox but still have a lot to learn. currently I want to set up some systems as good as possible with the artworks etc. but lack with the region thing as well. for example I have the NES Game 1942. all available artworks form the GamesDB are downloaded, regions are also managed in the options fo launchbox (no flag on Japan) but launchbox shows me the Japan fron cover artwork instead of the also available US one. why? or where can I can set up which region this system should show first or which artwork does have an region tag added or soooo. probably for the next POLL of features I would like to have some new features for the gamesdb plus how to handle it in launchbox and big box.

Basically, if a game is shown as "Air Zonk (USA)", how can I remove the "USA" part?

I would like to discuss about a feature i don't find in LaunchBox. I'm actually start to configure LaunchBox for my Genesis Library. Some of Genesis Roms are Multi-Region (Europe, Japan or USA). For Example Bare Knuckle II is Japan and Europe. For each region the cover is different but the game's behavior is different (Japan Text for Japan Region, English Text for Europe Version). What I would like is that in LaunchBox have an option to switch between the 2 versions of the game (Japan or Europe) and why not have the corresponding cover between switching. Is there a way to do this?

I've noticed, especially with N64, that my front box art is sometimes European boxes. These are random games but are all U region games. I have my priorities set to NA and USA scraping. I still have to go in and change 30 or 40 images. For some odd reason I am getting European box art when scraping with Emu movies but if I scrape each game manually and choose Launchbox database, then I get the choice of two region art. When I choose Emu Movies, I just get the European box art. Doing a full art replacement scan for the whole N64 platform and un-checking Emu Movies leaves me with the same smattering of European art. What gives? Edit: I've found something interesting. I moved Launchbox to another drive last month. I found the N64 box art downloads to a new folder seperate from my LB directory. I bet the config is screwed up. Ugh

I'm having a MAME region issue and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. When I launch "Michael Jackson's Moonwalker" through LaunchBox, it opens the "World" version of the ROM instead of the US version, which doesn't function properly. I know the US version works because when I choose it manually in MAME itself, it boots right up with no problem and works great. I just don't know how to force LaunchBox to choose the US version. I tried choosing "Edit" from the game's sub-menu and changed the region dropdown to US but that didn't help. Thanks guys, I appreciate any help you can give.

Hi. Not sure if I am missing an option somewhere, but I've been adding a few box images to my files manually by dragging and dropping to the details window (which works great by the way)... However, the images are moved to the root folder of the cover type (i.e. "Box - Front/"). I was wondering if there is any way to get these to automatically move to the relevant region subfolder. e.g. if I drag and drop an image onto a Japanese game, the image will be created in "Box - Front/Japan". Thanks in advance, and keep up the great work with this software. ~ Chris.
