  1. Arcade Cabinet Big Font View File Hello, Here my first Big Box Theme release, mainly focusing on Big font, big wheel, big everything. Typical use for Arcade Cabinet with CRT television. But should work on any type or size. I have 2 types of vertical view for wheel. One with image and the other with video selection. Image Vertical view for wheel are for sure more safe for slow CPU. In my case I run a Core Duo only and normal video from emumovie are working fine. The full theme video at the other hand are barely ok. Note : To use normal video rather theme video I just rename the folder of theme video to make sure BB don't find it and use normal video. Thanks to Thimolor, i started my theme base on LV-101 Submitter patrickfx Submitted 10/25/2020 Category Big Box Custom Themes

This is the ONLY Windows 10 Arcade Classics Desktop Theme available anywhere (that I could find)! I know this is not specifically LaunchBox related but it is retro-gaming related so I though I would share. NOTE - YOU DO NOT NEED LAUNCHBOX TO USE THIS THEME. I created this desktop theme for Windows 10 from 33 images and 30 wave files found around the internet and use them for my arcade cabinet. I take no credit for any of the images or sounds but thought I would share the theme in case anyone's interested. I put the Sound Scheme and Images together to create an ARCADE CLASSICS WINDOWS 10 DESKTOP THEME. Most images are 1920x1080 except for 2 that are a bit bigger and don't look that good scaled down. IN ORDER TO GET THE SOUND SCHEME AND DESKTOP THEME TO WORK TOGETHER: 1. Place the Arcade Classics Folder containing the WAV files into your %WINDIR%/media folder. Press WINDOW KEY + R then type in %WINDIR%/media to open the folder. 2. Double-click on the ARCADE CLASSICS THEME file (Arcade Classics.deskthemepack). It should connect the sound scheme to the desktop theme. I also included a VBS script that makes the desktop wallpaper rotate to the next random image and a shortcut to this script that makes it easy to double-click and run the script. You WILL NEED TO EDIT THE SHORTCUT depending on where you move the VBS script but I included it for completeness. Put the VB-SCRIPT wherever you'd like then edit the shourtcut to point to the vb-script. I have my script in my ../Hyperspin/ folder and the shortcut on my desktop but you can place it in your Launchbox directory or wherever you'd like. Enjoy, and let me know in the comments below if you have any issues with the theme or what your favorite images are. I like Space Invaders, Star Wars, and Battle Zone the best.

  5. Requested tutorial last week sorry it took so long to make it... included is exclusive Nox App PLayer PDF user guide 1. you will need one or 2 programs #XPadder or #JoyToKey for this tut I am using Xpadder because I have a wireless xbox 360 controller use whichever you prefer... Make sure the controller is plugged in and turned on... lol 2. Open any game of your choice inside of Nox 3. click the option in left panel that looks like a joystick called #controller configuration 4. if your device not there click refresh until it appears then hit connect... 5. select a game and get a feel for where you need to create virtual emulation buttons for. 6. once you have that done click upper right option in Nox panel called #Simulate Touch control 7. place the virtual d'pad somewhere on the game that won't be in the way... 8. you can either simulate your keyboard with WASD or controller with up, down, left, right on your dpad. 9. after you are completely done click the save option important! 10. this method applies to each game you play no matter what, you can even emulate buttons to navigate and use Nox easily! 6. In my Bartop I used a Baytrail Mini PC with 2 GB ram for two years with Launchbox . Work amazing with Nes, Snes, Genesis , Master System , Turbo Grafx , TG CD ROM and MAME . With Mame I could never use HLSL filters, but I found a mask that does not regret the HLSL filters and With retroarch i use Shaders lite and rock! After making a subscription to Emumovies, I have also downloaded the videos . As long as I add video for 3 platforms, my old Baytrail still holds very well, but if I put videos on all platforms, then Ram's lack of feel So I decided to change PC, and I ordered a Mini PC with Apollo Lake n4200 host immaginicertificity.com My choice fell on Beelink ap42 uploadcertificity.com Brand: Beelink Model: AP42 Type: Mini PC System: Windows 10 CPU: Intel Pentium N4200 Core: Quad Core GPU: Intel HD Graphic 505RAM: 4 gb Type: DDR3 ROM: 64G Inside Slot for SSD 42mm Every time I bought something from China, I always had to wait 1 month before arriving in Italy. I hope this will arrive soon, I have selected DHL (EU) Who knows with this new hardware where I can push with the emulation, who knows if I can enable MAME's HLSL filters. Surely with 4gb of RAM, launchbox will take a bit of breath:;)
