  1. I'm having trouble with my save files in retroarch through LaunchBox. I'm playing a playstation game with 3 cd's, I'm on the second cd. If I try saving the game through the usual game save feature (not a save state) while on disc 2 the save won't stay. This only happens when I start the game on disc one (the first disc is the one set up to launch through Launchbox) and switch to disc 2 using retroarch. If I start the game on disc two by right clicking on the game and select "play version/disc 2" then I can save and load saved games during disc 2 so this isn't a serious problem. I believe the problem has to do with the fact that playstation games save using memory cards which the emulator mimics with a file that is disc specific so if I start disc 1 then I can only use the memory card file associated with that disc. My problem is that I think the file that is associated with game saving isn't set up right because like I said I have to start with the right disc to use the right saving file. While I can live with just starting the game on disc 2 what I can't live with is recently when I tried to save the game it said it wanted to reformat the save file and wouldn't let me save or load until I did. When I did I lost all my save files. How do I set up the file for memory cards in a playstation game with multiple discs properly? I can't even access the second memory card, there's supposed to be 2 which I can use under disc 1 but not disc 2.
  2. Hi everyone, i finished my cabinet and started playing but noticed something terrible. When i use games on retroarch it doesn't saves or better, it does, but when i close it and open again the game, the save doesn't exist. I noticed even that if i close the content instead of forcing the closure of retroarch it works good but in my cabinet i cannot do that, to come back to the big box menù i use an ahk that force the closure of the emulators. Any suggestion to solve it? Thank you very much.
  3. When I play any game in PCSX2 from Launchbox, if I press the save state or load state buttons (F1 and F3) it won't work. If I load the emulator first, and load the game, I can use these buttons. My configuration is I launch launchbox through Steam, then launch what ever game in launchbox. I don't think Steam is the issue, as the save states will work if I either launch the emulator from steam, or open the emulator instead of the game in launchbox. I rather just be able to open the game in launchbox and have it work, as I use a steam link often and navigating the emulator menus is a pain when doing that. Update: After trying again, save states worked for a whole session. About an hour. I then exited out and went right back in, and it loaded the last state at start up fine, but after that it stopped accepting the commands, either on key board or using the shortcuts on the controller. It seems like sometimes, the savestate/loadstate buttons will work momentarily upon loading the emulator from launchbox, and then stop accepting those buttons. And other times, it accepts the commands everytime. Update 2: I think I figured out a fix, will keep this up in case it helps anyone. Launchbox makes two windows, a PCSX2 window, and the game. If I alt-tab to the PCSX2 window, then back to the game window, it will work for the whole session.
  4. Are there any good sites to find mem card saves for PCSX2? Im looking for saves for fighting games so I dont have to play through and unlock all the characters
  5. I cant seem to be able to import a nvram save to MAME 2014 Games running through Retro Arch. For example, I am trying to have all the characters unlocked in tekken tag tournament. I have tried putting them into C:\Users\lukel\RetroArch\saves\MAME2014\cfg\nvram\tektagt but that doesent seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks
