Greetings, i am brand new to Launchbox and am setting all my emulators up in it. I have added 9 consoles, DOS games and more and everything is fine with box art and meta data all loaded/downloaded in I have tried adding my N64 roms in and the scraper will find only like 3 pictures for 3 games of the 200+ i have. The games load in fine, but zero meta data and no images/box art are showing up. i am using both databases and emumovies

Hey everyone, I came from RetroPie/EmulationStation, so I have existing gamelist.xml files for systems. I have a lot of rom hacks (over 800 just for SNES), so I have separate "platforms/systems" created. Obviously LB can't scrape info for rom hacks, so i'm wondering if anyone knows of a way I'd be able to scrape info from my existing gamelist.xml. Really, I just want the Description tag to be scraped to the Notes field in LB, and I guess also the Name tag to go to the Sort Title field in LB (unless there's a way in LB to make the rom file name populate the sort title) I found this thread with a tool that has you choose a platform, then has an option to scrape a gamelist.xml but the tool didn't work at all for me (and doesn't scrape description field anyway). Tool hasn't been updated in 2 years either.

In an effort to conserve space, is there a way to determine what media is actually required for a certain theme? E.g. I plan to use the latest CityHunter theme on a fresh BigBox install. When I go to download metadata and media, I would like to download only the minimum files required for that theme to be complete. Specifically, I am going to use "Vertical Wheel 2" and "Platform Wheel 3" in my setup, if that reduces what is needed as well? Any way to tell from the theme xmls etc? Thanks!

Hi Guys, First time poster and frech Launchbox User here. After TWO YEARS of Hyperspin fiddling, I gave up on it for now and switching over to LaunchBox, hoping that the community is not as poisoned as the HS community. And I'm already having isses ;-) Trying to go with the first SNES tutorial Video and emumovies is not connecting. I've already changed my password but it's not working. In the "Roms importing" window, it tells me that it's unable to connect to emumovies. No firewall no nothing. Anyone else having the same issue currently? Thanks
