  1. Greetings! I have a simple question for which I feel very dumb not being able to find the answer to so far: is there any way for stretching the screenshot images (gameplay/logos/etc) that show on the selected game's info pane after clicking on them so that they fill the whole screen? I'm using a fairly high resolution (3840x2160) and most of the older games screenshots look really, really small and barely distinguishable. Thanks in advance!
  2. Some database users are rejecting my screenshots Hello my name is Fernando (catfer) First of all, I want to say that I love the launchbox application, and in gratitude I am uploading screenshots of various systems for those games that do not have screenshots yet. I try to make the screenshots I upload to the database have the best possible quality and sometimes it is necessary to rescale an image too small to appreciate the details, one of those users who reject my screenshots said that the original resolution of the nes is 256x240 I have multiplied the resolution 4 times so that all users can appreciate the current quality of emulation of the games. We all know that launchbox is an application that is used in conjunction with emulators. Is there someone who can play and not being blind with the original resolutions of the games on our FullHD and 4k screens? If the rejections continue, I will have to abandon the collaboration, despite the fact that there are thousands and thousands of games without screenshots (something necessary). and it's a shame, because I love the launchbox system and I only want to help within my limited possibilities. i've uploaded hundreds of images and new games added, and never had a problem until now. Pd, sorry about my bad english, my native is spanish from spain
  3. I was wondering if anyone knows how to display 2 different screenshots at the same time? Currently I am using '{Binding BackgroundImagePath}' to display a background but I am trying to figure out how to access, screenshots, fanart, etc. More importantly how to make launchbox display screenshot1 and then screenshot2 so that they are never the same and then also set a fallback using fanart. Anyway, I hope this is the right way to inquire. Please help if you can and thanks in advance.
  4. I'm currently trying to iron out the last couple of kinks in my big box setup. I'm using the Unified- Redux theme and when I either go into a games details page or just cycle over it on the games wheel it always uses the same screenshot but I have several in the directory for metadata, is there a way to make it just pick an available screenshot at random to display each time? otherwise the extras are just taking up space on my drive and I dont have the money just yet to get an emu movies account for the video preview images. Secondly if I do have pdf manuals how do I open them to view in the in-built PDF viewer since nothing shows up as an option in the game details screen (unless it just shows up if you have the pdf manuals, idk if i do). Apologies for the long and probably simple questions and thankyou in advance for any help offered. Images of a game details as it currently stands (as part of an IMGUR album I made quickly for a different issue that is unrelated)
  5. Provided below are screenshots of what I'm trying to load onto my LaunchBox. Ever since I updated my software, I get this same error message for every game I try to add on here. Even when I try to manually add my artwork and or metadata I still get error messages. How do I fix this issue? URGENT - bROKEN Trigga
  6. HexControls View File A collection of custom user controls to make custom themes easier. I will be updating the tool periodically with new features. Install for use Download HexControls.dll place the file in the plugins folder in your theme Screenshots Control. Description A control to randomly display a list of screenshots available for a game. It will stretch itself to the bounds of the container it is placed in. 8. I've always hated the way the screenshot output from emulators (DOSBox, WinVICE) for older games give you a squashed looking screenshot, and I'm sure many of you do too. There is a technical reason for this that I won't go into, but I do have a solution. I was searching around today so I could try to fix all of my odd sized screenshots and found Fotosizer. I'm not sure of the rules of posting external links, even though it's not my software, but it's free and easy to find. For those of us that contribute screenshots to the database, I believe this will really help with the quality of the shot. I'm going to be uploading my shots with the aspect fixed. All you have to do is drag and drop your shots to the program, set the software to do a stretched output, and set it to 640 width and 480 height. Hit start and they'll look like they're supposed to. I can try to help if anyone needs it, because I really like the uniformity and professional look of the screenshots after correcting their aspect ratio.

    Shared assets

Hey guys, a noob here, and I hope this won't be the last question... or yes maybe lol I recently stumbled upon Launchbox and it's a really nice piece of software, I'm impressed by it! Last night I gave it a quick try to have it with Retroarch running and it's surprisingly easy to configure, I think it's one of those software that I will have on startup! Anyway, sometimes at the office I have a lot of free time (I'm on my free time, actually) and I was thinking I should look for stuff for my Launchbox setup, so I thought about getting the assets for a couple of romsets I have while I'm in here. My original plan was to configure a Launchbox here at my office with all the boxarts and movies, and then bring all of that to my home PC, however, I don't have a clue if this would work, specially because my office runs Mac and I run PC on my home. So I wanted to ask if it's possible to do such thing? I would use the same romsets on both equipments. Thanks in advance!
