About Me

  1. I googled and found a suitable hotkey script for a standalone emulator. Through it, I was able to apply functions such as save, load, and quit the emulator by combining the select button and other buttons in xbox 360 pad mode. What I want is for the hotkey to work when another button is pressed while the select button is pressed, and most of them work the way I want them to. However, when the select button and the RT button or LT button are combined, the action of pressing the trigger button while the select button is pressed has no response. Conversely, pressing the select button while pressing the trigger button reacted. What I want to do is to do the sequence of pressing the trigger button while the select button is pressed. I want to create a motion that moves to the next save slot with the Select+RT button combination and the previous save slot with the Select+LT button combination. Attached here is the ahk script I got from Googling. I applied this script to the pcsx2 emulator and it helped me to make the hotkey work. Here, I would like to modify the operation order of the select button and trigger button as I want. Joy5:: Joy6:: Joy7:: { GetKeyState, SelectButton, Joy7 GetKeyState, L1Button, Joy5 GetKeyState, R1Button, Joy6 GetKeyState JoyZButtons, JoyZ JoyZButtons := Round(JoyZButtons) if (SelectButton = "D") { if (L1Button = "D") { ; Load state SendInput {F3} } else if (R1Button = "D") { ; Save state SendInput {F1} } else if (JoyZButtons > 60) { ; Prev slot SendInput !{F2} } else if (JoyZButtons < 40) { ; Next slot SendInput {F2} } } }
  2. Hi everyone. Hoping one of the arcade machine users can help a brother out... I finally got Killer Instinct (Steam Version) working with my arcade controls using an app called x360ce. (An app for mapping an input device as an xbox 360 controller) I set LB to use the .exe file and imported it as a windows game rather than importing it as a steam game if that matters to assist in providing a solution (although I don't imagine it will but you never know...) So when I launch Killer Instinct, x360ce automatically opens without any manual intervention (I don't have to set it up as an additional app or anything in LB) but when I quit Killer Instinct x360ce remains open and messes with the order of my joysticks for games that use retroarch. I have 0 familiarity with auto hotkey scripts or creating .bat files and am wondering if someone could help me figure out a way to auto close x360ce after I exit Killer Instinct. I am also open to using an alternative app...I have tried joytokey and it gave me endless problems and I couldn't get it working consistently (and I feel like I am pretty tech savvy) Thanks for any help.
  3. hello Everyone. I checked the hotkeys for the nox player and it has Ctrl + 0 for full screen and alt + F4 for exit nox. my problem is that im loading the games through shortcuts so i would have no way of pasting these in the script area BC i dont have an emulator set. is there any way i can place them in the section in the picture anywhere so i can use these shortcuts. i would like to run the game, then after like 20 seconds send Ctrl+0 and when i push ESC it send the Alt+F4 keys to close. Thank you In advance. Android Issue.mp4
  4. I've been working on trying to make the center "Guide" button on my Xbox 360 controller usable in emulators outside of RetroArch. I found a brilliant AHK library for working with Xbox 360 controllers over on GitHub, which does allow the user to read the Guide button inputs. However, putting this code into LaunchBox as an AHK script or even using an #Include statement causes LaunchBox to crash when attempting to launch a game. The library does work with the latest AutoHotKey mainline branch, so I'm guessing the issue is something to do with the way the library works. I'm guessing this is probably a question for Jason: What version(s) or AHK is LaunchBox natively compatible with? I may mess around with trying to strip down what I actually need out of that library, since the only thing I'm really trying to do is make a Guide button detector. Generally, all the other buttons are easy to access without any special sauce, and the Guide button would be super useful in Launchbox.
