This is a complete collection of 2D Boxes for the Original Sony PlayStation Japan Region. There are two versions. A version with all the covers squared off and a version with all the covers in CD Jewel case templates. The collection is complete and named after the 2019-3-31 ReDump rom set. There are also around 220 extra Boxes in the set that were not included in the ReDump rom set. Please note that some of the original files were not very high quality scans. This collection was originally a collaboration between @aorin1 , @diskmach and Myself in making the 3D Box set that I have now converted to 2D Boxes for this collection. Back to share the complimentary set of PS2 high res disc art that goes hand-in-hand with my 2.5D box art! To my knowledge there is not a complete set of PS2 NTSC disc art out there so I am here to share mine! This set yet again like the majority of my sets includes high resolution and uniformity. This set was complied from a very nice full high res scan set. This set will be part of a uniform series with more platforms to come that use the same exact DVD style template along with same size dimensions and high resolution artwork. This set like all of my sets includes a uniform "Playstation 2" banner when scrolling through your games for nice uniformity. This is all 1,790 released NTSC PS2 games following the no-intro naming scheme. When dropping these in your Launchbox build there may be a few boxes that do not autoload due to the name differences between how Launchbox scrapes the games and what no-intro names them. Therefore you may have to manually update a few images to your liking or use an alternate name within Launchbox itself. Also contained within this set are two sub folders. One folder contains 14 discs that received special edition releases and the other folder contains all the games that had a second disc (not including many of the bonus sound track or dvd movies). This should cover anything but as always if anyone notices any errors please let me know. Enjoy! You may also download my matching PS2 box fronts here.

Hey all, got yet another MASSIVE "2.5D" set that admittedly took too much time, but I digress. There are a few other PS2 sets that do exist out there however the difference here is the colors are more accurate, the resolution is higher and the set is uniform. This set was complied from a very nice full high res scan set. This set will be part of a uniform series with more platforms to come that use the same exact DVD case style template along with same size dimensions and high resolution artwork. This set like all of my sets includes a uniform "Playstation 2" banner when scrolling through your games for nice uniformity. This is a sound effects pack from the Playstation 5's menu. These are really nice, high quality sounds and they were recorded with background music off. I ripped them from this source: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdh1G7TQhVM&t=0s". I made sure there was zero popping in the audio. There's two sets here with the startup sound too. It's good to go! Enjoy! To use these, simply download and unzip the file. Place the folder into your "LaunchBox/Sounds" folder. Then launch BigBox and go into the "Options" select "Sound" and change the "Sound Pack" to "PS5".

Hey all, Wanted to give back another set of art to the community since I have collected so much from others. This set is similar in style to my other set that I previously released for Dreamcast. Its a front boxart in a "2.5D" style. For this pack I need to make note again the jewel case is not my creation but has been modified slightly for my tastes. I also need to mention the creator of this artwork (pre jewel case), Wally Wonka. He created and shared an excellent uniform PS1 set with matching PS1 labels for perfect uniformity. I have taken his 2D PS1 front boxart set and have applied the jewel case to them. Also a shout out to SomeGeezer for helping with Adobe Photoshop Actions making this process easier! In this pack it includes most all of the NTSC Sony Playstation retail games. It is missing all the Lightspan games (learning, language, math, etc. as the box art is hart to find and I felt most people wont care for those games as is) as well as demo discs. Everything else should be included but I am human so there is a chance a few oddballs slipped through the cracks... if you do see something missing or that is inaccurate please let me know. One last tidbit, there is a different case to match how multi disc games were released. Hope everyone enjoys these as it brings a more cohesive look to your collection along with my Dreamcast set!

  15. Project 64 1.6 won't run when I choose a ROM in Launchbox. I tried making a batch file and pointing to that like in this thread https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/28760-project64/ but it didn't help. Is there a fix that doesn't require me to download another version of PJ64? I don't want to risk getting malware. When I try to launch PS1 games PCSXR comes up like it's being run itself and I have to choose the game manually through the PCSXR menu. Is there a configuration to get games to launch without actually showing the emulator/background? The PC is a cheap old eMachines Windows 7 PC with a crappy integrated nvidia card from like 9 years ago, so I'm stuck with these two emulators. Can only run 2D Retroarch cores (so no n64/ps1 cores even though they work fine on Ubuntu. Guessing it's a lack of OpenGL or something, PCSXR needs D3D plugins to run full speed with Windows).
