So I'm about to take the plunge on a lifetime license of Launchbox premium for the Big Box feature, however, I have two questions before i proceed: Does anyone have any experience streaming Big Box to Nvidia Shield TV? I use RetroArch, PCSX2, and Dolphin. Will I need to set the resolutions in these emulators up separately (outside of what I setup for playing on my PC), or will Nvidia's streaming technology "automagically" handle it? In regards to the Shield Controller --- do I need to configure it within each Emulator, or will Big Box / RetroArch / Dolphin / PCSX2 recognize as an XInput controller and work "automagically"? For context, I have gone in and setup controller schemes for my xbox one controller when I play on my PC. Not a dealbreaker by any means, I just want to know what kind of pre-configuration I'm getting myself into -- if any. Thanks!
I’m using the trial version of camtasia to record my gameplay and also record me playing with a webcam. The screen record works in LaunchBox and in LaunchBox games, perfectly fine. The screen record works in big box until I start a game. It’s just a black screen when I playback the video. It still records the games sound but not the games video. Has anyone had trouble recording big box gameplay?
I watch video game streams from time to time, and i always see on the side "time stamps" of in game achievements or milestones. My question is say someone is streaming off a console how do they get the games to interface with these timestamps? I can understand a PC game having some sort of 3rd party addon but how would a seperate console game be able to detect and display such things?
Maybe soon we will could to use Launchbox and bigbox on any platform https://rainway.io/ Leverage the power of your PC Enjoy Civilization VI from the comfort of your couch with a tablet, play Stardew Valley on the go from your phone or just enjoy your favorite PC games on macOS and Linux all at 60FPS. No additional hardware required Any GPU that supports DirectX 11 can take advantange of the Rainway MSG protocol.
