  1. Heya, it's me back at it again with my first ever theme collab for a Launchbox theme. Me and @faeran wanted to create a platform line of themes, with each theme resembling the platform feel and looks. But instead of having multiple themes like Coverbox (Which we will add eventually once we have all the platform pages changed into something unique) we want to make one theme that represents each and every system in it's best way possible. From their authenticated colors to their classic games all proudly showcased so you can show it off to everyone you like. We will keep you all updated of course with screenshots, media and more. And we hope to eventually release this theme for everyone to enjoy. Platform Themes: Default (Used for all the platforms without a theme yet): Atari 2600: Nintendo Super Game Boy: Nintendo Super Game Boy 2: Nintendo Sufami Turbo: Nintendo Color TV-Game: Nintendo Game & Watch: Nintendo Game Boy Nintendo Game Boy Color: Nintendo Game Boy Advance: Nintendo DS: Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo Entertainment System (NES): Nintendo Satellaview: Nintendo Virtual Boy: Nintendo Super Famicom: Nintendo Virtual Console: Nintendo Super System: Nintendo Wii: Nintendo Wii U: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo Famicom: Nintendo Pokemon Mini: Nintendo Gamecube: Nintendo 64: Nintendo 64DD: Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES): Nintendo Classics: Microsoft Xbox: Sega 32X: Sega CD: Sega Saturn: Sega Mega Drive: Sega Genesis: Sega Dreamcast: Sega Mark III: Sega Game Gear: Sega Master System: Sega Master System II: Sega Pico: Sega Naomi: Sega Hikaru: Sony Playstation: Sony Playstation 2: Sony Playstation 3: Sony Playstation 4: Windows: Philips CD-i Playlist Collection Themes: 00s Collection: 70s Collection: 80s Collection: 90s Collection: 007 Collection: Addams Family Collection: Alien Collection: Altered Beast Collection: Anime Collection: Arcade Collection: Army Men Collection: Atari Classics: Back to the Future Collection: Barbie Collection (was the most difficult to do i hate pink): Baseball Collection Basketball Collection: Batman Collection: Battletoad Collection: Beat Em Ups: Blues Brothers Collection: BMX Collection: Board and Card Games: Bomberman Collection: Boulderdash Collection: Bowling Collection: Bratz Collection: Bruce Lee Collection: Bubble Bobble Collection: Bubsy Collection: Bugs Bunny Collection: Bust-A-Move Collection: Animal Crossing Collection: Mario Collection: Metroid Collection: Kirby Collection: Pokemon Collection: Grand Theft Auto Collection: Sonic Collection: The Sims Collection: Crash Bandicoot Collection: Elder Scrolls Collection: Yoshi Collection: More will be added every day so keep an eye open and click that follow button!

    FutureState Neon Deluxe

    Version v1.04.

    415 downloads

FUTURESTATE NEON DELUXE *Click follow to stay informed of important updates* ---Introduction--- This theme started out as a custom color skin for the FutureState theme by Hexxxer, I wanted to make something that would fit my gameroom's dark blue/purple blacklight lit environment, a bit like the good old dark arcades, where light plays an important role to the experience. It evolved after months of coding long, long... lloonng hours into this, I had to learn this coding language along the way, I hope it doesn't contain any errors and such. Huge thanks go out to @Hexxxer for his amazing theme (FutureState) framework, controls (HexControls.dll) and kind permission, without him I couldn't have done this. Also a huge thanks to @NJDave71 for making it possible to see the game count for playlists through HelperControl_v4.DLL which is included in this theme. Thanks guys! And everyone else for all the inspiration, enthusiasm and dedication. Enjoy please read these instructions well! ---Installation, Tips & Probable Issues--- 1. This theme uses images and video pretty heavy, it could run slow on older systems, I did add some faster/lighter views, try to see what works for you after you let the lists cache. Huge lists with thousands of games always run a bit slower as more data is being transfered. I recommend doing the following to speed up BigBox greatly: * Uncheck all Background Images in launchbox/settings/image priorities * Set all transitions to "None" in BigBox settings 2. This theme is probably only fit for use on a 16:9 aspect ratio, as I did use some absolute positioning of elements, I'm not very experienced yet to make a 4:3 relative positioning version, maybe someone else might be able to make such a version. 3. If you use a 4K display you probably have to set the Windows dpi settings to 200% in order to keep the layout intact. 4. The transparent cabinets you see in the screenshots are custom made and gathered images, most cab images around have a black background waiting on the community to chip in, make them transparent and upload them to the LBDatabase, I'll make some in the future as well. Cut outs of high resolution photos of cabinets give the best result obviously. You can find the cabinet package for CPS1 in 'FutureStateNeonDeluxe/_InstallationFiles/', see it as an example of what we can achieve together in the future. EDIT: See this project for more info: 5. Download the theme zip file and extract the content to Launchbox/Themes/ folder. 6. Install the font file, you can find it in the extracted folder FutureStateNeonDeluxe/_InstallationFiles/ 7. To make the placeholder work which shows the Cabinets/Advertisement Flyer - Back/Box Back in the screenshots needs some changes in your image priority settings within Launchbox. As the cabinets don't have their own placeholder to be coded in a theme I used the Cart 3D placeholder as I figured most people will only use one cart view or can set Cart 3D in image priorities to Cart Front. You can control a lot to your liking within image priorities, as long as you remember it's Cart 3D for this placeholder. My setup in image priorities within Launchbox options: 8. You might need to unblock the .DLL's in the plugin folder for them to work properly. ---Features--- Slide-in/out platform/game wheel, disappearing when not in use to make room for more possibilities. The logo's have a glow beneath them so you can still see black/dark logo's apart from the background. Special Marquee monitor filler magic trick (previously released to be used in other themes as well). Using the empty space around marquees in a special way. If you rather have the default marquee views just copy 'GameMarqueeView.xaml' and 'PlatformMarqueeView.xaml' from the default theme views folder and overwrite in this themes 'views' folder. And loads more... ---Views Description--- Platform View 1 (PlatformWheel1FiltersView) * A lot of Platform details * Device image * Large video/image with ambient/glow beneath it * Total games counter for platforms and playlists Platform View 2 (PlatformWheel2FiltersView) * Same as Platform View 1 except for a few differences * Fanart platform image in place of device image * Device image to the right side overlaying video/image Platform View 3 (PlatformWheel3FiltersView) * Same as Platform View 2 except for a few differences * Details panel makes room for full size video/image Platform View 4 (PlatformWheel4FiltersView) * Full screen video/image Platform View 5 (TextFiltersView) * Text list of Platforms * In the mid collumn Platform banner image, device image, fanart image * Even more details about the platform/playlist Games View 1 (WheelGamesView) * 2 Game Screenshots * Details I found useful * Game description * 3D box (You can switch image view on this placeholder with a button) with Cart image overlaying. * Cabinet/Back Box/Back Flyer overlaying on left side over video/image * Details overlaying video/image like your star rating, developer, publisher, genre, playmode. * Custom icons for Broken, Portable, Completed, Favorite and ESRB rating. * Platform logo in the middle * Scanlines overlaying the video/image Games View 2 (Wheel2GamesView) Same as Games View 1 but with Cabs/Back to the right side Games View 3 (Wheel3GamesView) Same as Games View 1 & 2 but without cabs/back and without scanlines over the video, for views which have high quality video's and/or theme video's Games View 4 (Wheel4GamesView) A view which might be more suitable for quick browsing, slower systems and require more game details. * Cab images without transparency look better in this view * Static logo wheel * Video below with glow beneath. The cabs/back images are filling the screen (maintaining aspect ratio) to the right for better readability of back covers and high quality cab images. I prefer this view for inspecting/sorting out my games. * Larger Icons right/below side. Games View 5 (TextGamesView) A view to see even more game details, without video, the idea here is you can see the front and back image side by side while being able to read the back image. As if you would hold the cover in your hand. * Static Text wheel * Many details * Large Icons * Box/Advertisement fronts beneath image * Cabs/Back to the right Games View 6 (GameDetailsView) Same as Games View 5

    Unified

    Version 1.1.1

    5,696 downloads

This theme is a port of the HyperSpin Unified Widescreen Megatheme project, which was originally started by gibbawho and continued by many other talented artists over the years. It’s supposed to bring a unified look (hence the name) across all platforms while giving every platform it’s own individual touch. I’ve tried to stay very close to the original look and feel but also took some creative freedom, especially when it comes to the new fading info panel at the bottom of the screen. This theme was designed for 16:9 screens and display resolutions only. Big Box will automatically scale itself to a 16:9 aspect ratio when you use a different aspect ratio on your machine. Features: Individual Artwork for a lot of different platforms and playlists + some alternatives you can choose from Matches with the Unified platform video set from EmuMovies Fully animated wheel pointer Spinning discs for disc-based platforms Various other custom animations Uses the weather plugin by @Grila Templates to build your own platform artwork are included as .psd files Brings a small taste of the HyperSpin feeling to your Big Box setup Currently featured Views: Games Text List View: 3D Box Games Vertical Wheel View 1: 3D Box Games Vertical Wheel View 2: 3D Box + static cart/disc Games Vertical Wheel View 3: 3D Box + rotating disc Games Vertical Wheel View 4: Fullscreen video Platform Vertical Wheel View 1: Fullscreen video + scrolling text Platform Vertical Wheel View 2: Fullscreen video without scrolling text More Views are planned, so stay tuned. The theme includes artwork for the following 198 Platforms/Playlists: The Add-on package includes artwork for the following 295 playlists: The theme will also display a default artwork for Platforms/Playlists which are not yet covered or wrongly named. How to install: This theme only works on LaunchBox version 8.2 or higher! Just download the archive and extract it to: “..\LaunchBox\Themes\” Go to the “Plugins” folder inside of the extracted folder and right-click on of the .dll files. Choose Properties -> Click on “Unblock” at the bottom of the window. Close the window. Repeat that for all .dll files in that folder. If the "Unblock" button isn't there than you are already good to go. Open the Options menu in Big Box -> go to “Views” and change the Theme to "Unified". Change the “Games List View” and “Platforms List View” to one of the currently featured Views that are listed above. Make sure that in the Big Box Options -> Views –> “Show Games List Title” is enabled. Info: Never rename the theme folder! The theme folder has to be named exactly "Unified" or the theme won't work properly! (that's btw. an universal tip for all other themes as well) How to install the Add-on package: Just extract the contents of the .zip file into your LaunchBox folder. Note: You have to create the proper playlists for the collections yourself! How to change the location and temperature measurement unit for the Weather plugin: 1. Close BigBox in case you have it opened up 2. Visit the website http://www.woeidlookup.com/ and search for a location of your choice 3. Go to the “Plugins” folder inside the Unified theme folder Path: “..\LaunchBox\Themes\Unified\Plugins” 4. Open the “GrilaBBWeather.dll.config” with a text editor of your choice. For example: Notepad 5. Copy the WOEID from the website and replace the already existing ID in the config file with it 6. If you want to change the temperature unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius just change the “f” under Units to a “c” 7. Save the config file and you’re done Known issues: The logo of the Platform/Playlist and the individual video border don't show up in the Game Details screen and the theme displays the generic Big Box logo and metallic video border instead when it gets opened through any other Games View than the Text List View. Tips for tweaking your LaunchBox setup for this theme: In LaunchBox: Tools -> Options -> Cart Front Priorities -> Select all Cart and Disc related entries, deselect everything else. In Big Box: Options ->Transitions -> Change "Game Image/Video Transition” to “Fade” In Big Box: To avoid spinning cart art go to: Options -> Views -> Make sure that „Remember separate View for each platform” is checked. Than go either to the Keyboard Mappings or the Controller Buttons settings and set up a key/button for “Switch View”. Now you can go back to your platforms and switch the games Views for each platform individually on the fly. Use the Unified Platform videos from EmuMovies for an overall uniform look. You can either download them as free user from the EmuMovies website or if you are an EmuMovies premium user you can get them directly through LaunchBox under: Tools -> "Download Platform/Playlist Theme Videos". What is the Add-on package? The theme itself will always only include artwork for Platforms and Playlists that also have a Unified Platform video available on EmuMovies in order to provide a seamless experience. Everything else goes into the Add-on package. More generic playlists like franchises, series, genres, etc. are also only included in the Add-on package to avoid that the theme gets unnecessarily blown up it in its size. The same goes for everything that differs too much from the default Unified style. Individual platform artwork not showing up?: The media files that are inside the “..\LaunchBox\Themes\Unified\Images\Theme\..” folder have to be named exactly like your platforms inside LaunchBox. I've went with the HyperList/RocketLauncher naming conventions for the filenames in this package. If Big Box doesn’t show any individual artwork for a system that is listed above you may need to manually rename the relevant files for that platform in all four sub-folders. Also make sure that in the Big Box Options -> Views –> “Show Games List Title” is enabled! Discs are not spinning / showing up?: Make sure you have the right Games List View selected and Disc images in your Cart Image Priorities enabled (see the tips section of this download description). Thanks and Credits: @Grila for his weather plugin @NJDave71 for his HelperControl plugin @ninja2bceen for creating the default and various other pointers All the artists who created the original HyperSpin themes, pointers and other work that helped me to create this theme (please contact me if I have forgotten someone!): Gibbawho @Styphelus Unknown50862 @Klopjero Neonrage @knewlife @Creloce Ghostlost https://www.youtube.com/user/GhostlostGames @ninja2bceen @THK adamg @RetroHumanoid http://retrohumanoid.weebly.com/ Rkh Rondar @scooter1974 Zinger19 Aloner187 @guyverjay MetalThrix SophT Ledgerewskie hoscarconh https://www.youtube.com/user/hoscarconh @viking Add-on package contributors: @RetroHumanoid http://retrohumanoid.weebly.com/
  4. Hey. I've been scouring through most of the themes available here on the forums and found a lot of amazing themes. Even though every theme were really good there were always some aspects i didn't like or i thought needed adding. So i decided to myself try making a theme. Important note is that I'm not the greatest coder... At all. But looking at the code, stitching and copying from other themes i got myself a theme i thoroughly enjoy. I've only tried this theme on the PC i own which is 1920x1080, but if any issues occur send me a pm or reply here and i can try to hopefully fix it. Screenshots: Installation Process: 1. Extract "Avaris.zip" into the "../LaunchBox/Themes" folder. 2. Go to "../LaunchBox/Themes/Avaris/Fonts" and install the fonts you don't already have. 3. Inside BigBox, open Options > Views and select "Avaris". 4. Make sure "Games List View" is set to "Vertical Wheel 1/2/3/4" in Options > Views. Note: If "Single Player" / "2 Player Mode" / "4 Player Mode" is missing from one of your platforms on the Platform View. Open "../LaunchBox/Themes/AvarisLow/Images/Controls" and create a folder with the full platform name and inside copy one of the ("Single Player" / "2 Player Mode" / "4 Player Mode") images inside "../LaunchBox/Themes/AvarisLow/Images/Controls/All" to the new platform folder and rename it to "players". Restart BigBox and it should now be displayed in the bottom left corner in Platform view. The Zip contains 3 Themes: "Avaris", "AvarisBalanced" and "AvarisLow". They are all mostly the same with the exception of Avaris using platform videos and "menu before options" background video. I also have a version i use for myself which include a controller icon in the game selection page depending on the game (click), if anyone wants this shout and i'll add a link for it. Theme based on Aeon Nox Redux, RetroFresh, Unified and a few other. Video of Theme: Recommend using "AvarisBalanced" for most users, low end PC "AvarisLow" and if you're confident your PC can handle it "Avaris". Avaris.zip

This is my latest theme and has taken many weeks of work to get to this stage. A big thank you to @eatkinola for his assistance with getting the video plugin working. The theme is loosely based on the Netflix interface and is designed to be a clean dark theme with an emphasis on fanart and videos. The plugin is included within the theme for the videos to work correctly. As with Netflix the theme is designed to show the fanart for approx. 4 seconds before then fading in the video. As the videos do not use the inbuilt Launchbox control and instead use the plugin I have found the experience smoother with the video option set to Windows Media Player rather than VLC and have not experienced any issues in doing this though your mileage may vary so if one doesn't work/stutters try the other. There is one platform view in this theme and 7 Game views. The Game views are clear logos vertical, screenshots vertical 4:3 format, screenshots vertical 16:9 format, horizontal clear logos, horizontal screenshots 4:3, horizontal screenshots 16:9 and a two row Wall View. The game details screen includes full controller layout for the various platforms (all major ones covered) and there is a template file included for Gimp GNU in the theme/images/controls folder should you wish to change the control images / styles. As always comments and suggestions welcome. Enjoy!

Following @CriticalCid awesome Unified theme project, and so you can seamlessly transition from the theme to the emulator, this pack consists of each of the +200 system backgrounds, made as overlays in 1080p, 3 variations each. IMPORTANT (In case you will be using these pngs with Retroarch): Overlays require at least one image (.png) and a configuration file (.cfg) in order to activate them. The configuration file should have the exact same name as the image file. DO NOT use spaces in the filenames (for this pack you will need to remove the spaces from the file names). These files (the png and its corresponding cfg) should be placed together in the libretro overlay folder. In order to activate an overlay, go to the RetroArch Settings menu. Find the Onscreen Display submenu. From this menu you can activate the Overlay system and select which overlay file to display. Example: 4:3 with integer scale 4:3 with integer scale and a drop shadow 4:3 full screen

These are some platform videos I have made to fill gaps in my setup that had not previously been done. I use Viking's Nostalgia theme, so the videos are in that style. FutureState Neon Deluxe

FutureState Neon Deluxe View File FUTURESTATE NEON DELUXE *Click follow to stay informed of important updates* ---Introduction--- This theme started out as a custom color skin for the FutureState theme by Hexxxer, I wanted to make something that would fit my gameroom's dark blue/purple blacklight lit environment, a bit like the good old dark arcades, where light plays an important role to the experience. You can find the cabinet package for CPS1 in 'FutureStateNeonDeluxe/_InstallationFiles/', see it as an example of what we can achieve together in the future, we might have to organize a group for this to accomplish this huge task. 5. * Static Text wheel * Many details * Large Icons * Box/Advertisement fronts beneath image * Cabs/Back to the right Games View 6 (GameDetailsView) Same as Games View 5 Submitter Mr. RetroLust Submitted 07/30/2018 Category Big Box Custom Themes

    Switch Theme

Switch Theme View File Switch v1.0.3 BigBox Theme 8/30/2017 Display scaling over 100% will cause alignment issues with the platform wheel banner images. Switch Changelog: v1.0.3 (8/30/2017): - moved the GrilaControlLibrary.dll to the theme Plugins folder, which is an added feature since the theme release (the .dll will still need to be un-blocked before launching BigBox) - fixed the large outline bug reported by @jamesclarke555 (thanks again for reporting it to me) v1.0.2 (5/2/2017): - redesigned Text Games View (thanks for the inspiration @NahuelDS) v1.0.1 (4/21/2017): - Dark version added v1.0.0 (4/20/2017): - Initial release Theme Description ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Switch is a very lightweight, clean theme that was designed to be as close to the original UI as possible. There isn't much artwork in this one: banners for the platform wheel view, covers for the box game view, and a video snap in the game details screen so it should run pretty smooth on low spec systems. It includes a custom control library that I've started to build that contains the battery status indicator as well as a separate 12 and 24 hour clock (since we can't change the format of the built-in one without changing Windows settings). Theme Notes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Requires the file GrilaControlLibrary.dll to be un-blocked before launching BigBox. Make sure to do this for both the light and dark versions of the theme. * Utilizes the font Oxygen-Regular, which is included in the root theme folder. Install it before running this theme. * Designed for 1920x1080. I can't guarantee it will work at any other resolutions (really only the platform wheel), even in the same aspect ratio, because of the margin that is applied to the wheel to get it off center. The box game view and all text views are NOT affected by this and will work at any resolution, although text spacing and some other misc. elements may not look as perfect as they do at 1080. * Included is a sound pack for BigBox. Move it from the theme directory to LaunchBox\Sounds and select it in the BigBox options menu. It can also be downloaded here https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/467-switch/ * I've included some extra buttons and controller images along with the .PSD and .AI files to edit them if you feel the need. The extras can be swapped out to fit your system by simply copying them from the extras folder to the core image folder and renaming them. The file names have to match what's in the XAML, so you'll need to overwrite or delete the ones you are changing. Filenames are controller.png, play_button.png, and back_button.png. Alternate Versions ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1280x720 GPDWin focused version (video replaced with screenshot): Switch_v1.0.1_1280x720.zip 1280x800 Tablet focused version (video replaced with screenshot): Switch_v1.0.1_1280x800.zip Submitter Grila Submitted 04/20/2017 Category Big Box Custom Themes

This is a loose port / interpretation of the Aeon MQ7 skin for Kodi. It’s one of my absolute favorite skins for Kodi and was a huge inspiration for my first BigBox theme: CriticalZone After @NJDave71 already brought Aeon Nox to BigBox I thought it would be time to bring Aeon MQ as well. This theme was designed for 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios and tested on 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 resolutions! This is just an early preview version that I built last September. Due to my new job I hadn’t much time to finish it up as an extensive theme like CriticalZone. I used the holidays to polish the Views that I already had as I don’t want to just sit on it any longer and I have definitely planned to add a ton of new Games Views to this, but I don’t know when I will find the time to do it. So for now just take it as it is and tell me what you think about it and what do you wish for potential updates. This theme currently features 4 Platforms and 3 Games Views. It also uses the Current Weather Control plugin by Grila. It shows the weather and temperature of a location of your choice. How to install: 1. Just download the archive and extract it to: “..\LaunchBox\Themes\” 2. Go to the “Plugins” folder inside of the extracted folder and right-click on of the .dll files. Choose Properties -> Click on “Unblock” at the bottom of the window. Close the window. Repeat that for all .dll files in that folder. If the "Unblock" button isn't there than you are already good to go. 3. Open the Options menu in BigBox -> go to “Views” and change the Theme to "Aeon MQ7". IMPORTANT: This theme requires at least LB v8.0 Beta-2 to work properly! It may run on previous versions as well but some features won't work properly with them. How to change the location and temperature measurement unit for the Weather plugin: 1. Close BigBox in case you have it opened up 2. Visit the website http://www.woeidlookup.com/ and search for a location of your choice 3. Go to the “Plugins” folder inside the Aeon MQ7 theme folder Path: “..\LaunchBox\Themes\Aeon MQ7\Plugins” 4. Save the config file and you’re done Showcase video of the Game Views by @pipes78 I like to thank the following persons for their indirect help to create this theme: @Grila for his weather plugin @NJDave71 for letting me use his HelperControl plugin that allows horizontal scrolling text in BigBox. @eatkinola for his guide on how to add fonts as a plugin And of course everyone who was working on the original Aeon MQ skin! Known issues: - The navigation for the game boxes doesn’t work in the Horizontal Wheel Platforms View 1 - The available space for the horizontal scrolling text gets smaller the higher the DPI settings are on your PC.

This is a theme based on two themes. One is ClassicMini from @Grila https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/35204-classicmini/ And the unfinished theme "Red 84" from @Jegeroel https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/35634-red-84/ This theme is only possible with the helping hand from @Grila and his magic (and fast) codding skills. I only did the layouts (Kinda, because mostly it's based on what Grila did and Jegeroel) but I did some touches here and there. Also, I strongly recomend using @reignstumble console Artwork Packs : https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/33483-reignstumble-console-artwork-pack/ The main focus is to have the video playing in the Background and launch the game right away. But if you want more info about the game (like the ROM filename) take a look on the details page.I've been using this theme for about two weeks, and haven't encountered any problem on it. If someone needs the PSD files, so they can change the buttons layout, feel free to PM me and I release the file. Again, it wouldn't not be possible with the help of Grila! I hope you guys enjoy it!
  23. CriticalZone / CriticalZone - BlueBox View File IMPORTANT: We have recently encountered issues with the background video plugin in V2 which causes BigBox randomly to freeze. We don’t know yet how often this happens and what circumstances triggers them but if you want to make sure to run BigBox with a maximum of stability be sure to either use the FanartOnly versions or V1.8 and wait until these issues are fixed! CriticalZone is a BigBox theme designed for the usage of widescreen platform videos and utilizes videos as backgrounds. This theme was designed for widescreen displays with 16:9 aspect ratios and optimized for a display resolution of 1920x1080. It will also work with other widescreen resolutions and 16:10 aspect ratios but it may not look as polished. Alternative Versions: - CritcalZoneV2 - BlueBox: A blue color variant of CriticalZoneV2. It features blue texts instead of green and has a different Default background created by @SentaiBrad - BackgroundVideoOnly: All Views, except the TextList Views, will only use video loops as backgrounds. Also available as BlueBox version. - BackgroundFanartOnly: All Views will only use Fanart images as backgrounds. Also available as BlueBox version. -> Use this version if you have performance problems! - 1.8: The original and now old version of CriticalZone. It's officially EOL and won't get supported by me in any way. It's just still here for archiving reasons. There’s also a red 80’s/Cyberpunk themed version of CriticalZone called “CityHunter”. It’s maintained by @keltoigael and can be found here: V2 of CriticalZone now features a complete new video engine created by @eatkinola which supports the following: - Multiple background videos and randomized shuffle between them - Individual background videos for all Platforms, Platform Categories and Playlists Check the “Guide - How to set up your own background videos.pdf” file inside the theme folder for further instructions. If you need a great source for generic background videos, than I highly recommend this YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/dvdangor2011 How to install: Just download the version of choice and extract the archive into: “..\LaunchBox\Themes\” Go to the “Plugins” folder inside of the extracted folder and right-click on of the .dll files. Choose Properties -> Click on “Unblock” at the bottom of the window. Close the window. Repeat that for all 3 .dll files in that folder. Open the Options menu in BigBox -> go to “Views” and change the Theme to the version you just have installed. IMPORTANT: CriticalZone V2 requires LaunchBox v7.11 or higher! Known issues: - The star rating won't show up sometimes when you jump too quickly from one game to the next. - The description texts in all Platform Views and CoverFlowWithDetails Games View won’t fill the whole space of the descriptions box when you use CriticalZone with a higher DPI setting than 100% or a lower display resolution than 1902x1080. It gets progressively worse the higher the DPI settings and/or lower the resolution is. Thanks & Credits: Special thanks to @eatkinola for creating the new video engine and helping me with the star rating banners. I also would like to thank @SentaiBrad for creating the new Default background video for the BlueBox variant.
