How can I hide what region a game is in the title?
KingoftheWolves3 posted a topic in NoobsBasically, if a game is shown as "Air Zonk (USA)", how can I remove the "USA" part?
folder Use folder name for rom title issue
Solo187 posted a topic in TroubleshootingOk so i have c64 covertapes that im importing into launchbox. Each tape is stored as an individual folder ie Powerpack #01 (commodore format covertapes) & Inside the folders are the individual .tap files of the contained games. So when i import using folder names as game titles i get 64 roms listed as powerpack 0-64 respectively. Ok, so far so good. Only thing is the additional apps (the individual games in the folder) are all named after the folder too instead of their actual name. So when i right click the listed title i just see 'play powerpack version...' 4 times. Instead of 4 seperately named games. How can i import with folder names as titles but have the individual files inside the folder listed with their proper names?
2 questions: Alternate game star rating - keep roms name in title
Strathos70 posted a topic in NoobsHello, I started to use launchbox a few days ago and like it a lot so far but i'm wondering a few things. - Star rating Would it be possible without programming knowledge to not use stars to rate game, but simply a number (1-10) , If i do some crappy stuff myself, would it hard for me to use it in launchbox? - It is great that lauchnbox use its one games database, but there is one thing that bother me, maybe there is a way to do it i'm not aware about. I imported the no intro sega megadrive set, and noticed that it changed the title name to match the database (ex : The addams family > Addams family (the). This is not a big prolem obviously, so i don't mind that much. For another game, "Battle mania" and "Battle mania daiginjo", it found the 2nd game but did not found the first one, and decided to rename both to "Battle mania daiginjo", so you could think its the same game where it is not. It did not consolidate them though (which is a very nice feature). Is there an option I missed that can keep the exact rom file name? Thank you.
Big Box launches the wrong game
North449 posted a topic in TroubleshootingI looked around the forums and googled a bit but couldn't find an answer to this. I have a bunch of SNES games loaded into launch box using retroarch as the emulator. I opened Big Box mode and went to launch Metal Warriors but instead it launched a different game (some racing game specifically the next game in the list of titles). I then went into desktop mode and launched Metal Warriors and it worked perfectly. Does anyone know what the issue might be or is there a way to manually adjust the game in big box mode? Thanks for the help.
