  1. I'm new do theme creation so things are a little fuzzy. My intention is to create a custom view for a 1920x360 resolution marquee. It should look something like this I was able to add the box and cart bindings, but for some reason, where it should be showing the clear logo, it's showing the original marquee instead 1 - I need BixBox to stop rendering the marquee file and render the clear logo 2 - I don't know how to bind the background image for it to be platform specific 3 - is it possible to make a special view only for arcade games? Those usually have a marquee artwork Here's my current code. Right now video's are getting cut off due to the grey bar.

Decided to create and post another video to demonstrate a little more of the Theme Editor but focusing on the Video positioning and sizing, I threw in the scroll text positioning for good measure. I have only skimmed the surface on what this editor does so far and it will do much much more in the coming weeks.
  4. Hey I'm new to the forums and I was wondering if someone could make a theme similar to the Playstation 4 or the Xbox One UI. I really like the Switch Theme by Grila and think it would be cool to have a theme similar to those consoles as well.

  6. Hey guys, I have this concept/idea for an Xbox Original theme (4:3 and 16:9 Ratio) and was wondering if anyone could make this concept a reality. Hyperkin has developed a new "Duke" controller for the Xbox One/PC so having the controller and a Big Box theme to match it would be cool in my opinion. I would develop it myself if I had any coding experience. Would anyone want to take a stab at it?   7. First off I would like to thank @Grila @eatkinola and @keltoigael for the themes you guys have put together, everyone really, awesome work! I have learned a lot about XAML just looking through CityHunter, Switch, Epoch09 and BigForce, been a huge help figuring some things out. At this point I am stuck on a few things, more than likely they are either bugs or just not possible right now with the current implementation. 1. Setting a font size for ListBoxItem. I have tried everything in the ListBoxItemStyle.xaml ResourceDictionary. I tried adding a setter for TextBlock.FontSize, TextElement.FontSize and just FontSize, nothing works. I also tried screwing with the ContentPresenter with no luck. On a related note, I also want to set a DropShadowEffect on the text, haven't had any luck on that either yet but have a couple more things to try. 2. Using large images in the CoverFlow control. I have device images that are cut at around 800 x 300 and no matter how I fool with the zindex properties on the control, they show up smaller than they should be and blurry like the control is resizing the image and then scaling it up. See image below. I have a feeling this is a limitation of the CoverFlow control itself. @Jason Carr? I have also noticed that when I first bring up BB or go to another platform view, the original size device image of whatever platform i have selected briefly flashes on the screen, seems to be somewhat sporadic. 3. I have a Storyboard animation that I use to hide and show elements on my platform views in my theme, it runs for a total of about 3 seconds. During the animation, if I try to switch views nothing happens, have to wait until the animation is done, then switch or I have to hit the switch view key twice quickly in order for it to change. This might be another one for @Jason Carr. Thats all for now. Thanks in advance! BTW here is a small taste of what I am working on...
  8. Hi, I'm still kind of new to this and I'm trying to add carts to my themes TextGamesView. I can add it to where it is a static image using: <Image Source="{Binding Path=SelectedGame.CartFrontImagePath}" Grid.Row="6" Grid.Column="16" Grid.ColumnSpan="4" Grid.RowSpan="3" Panel.ZIndex="100" Margin="10,0,10,0"/> now, The problem is that it looks funny since everything else comes in with the Transition Presenter and this is just a static Image. I was wondering if there is a way to use that path with the Transition Presenter. I've tried a couple of different ways to get this in the Transition Presenter ie: <transitions:TransitionPresenter Grid.Row="6" Grid.Column="16" Grid.ColumnSpan="4" Grid.RowSpan="4" TransitionSelector="{Binding ImageTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding path=SelectedGame.CartFrontImagePath}" Panel.ZIndex="100" Margin="10,0,10,0"/> With that, I just get text instead of an actual image. The other thing I tried was making another Resource that matched ImagesView and called it ImageCartView then replaced it to use SelectedGame.CartFrontImagePath and change my code in TextGamesView to: <transitions:TransitionPresenter Grid.Row="6" Grid.Column="16" Grid.ColumnSpan="4" Grid.RowSpan="4" TransitionSelector="{Binding ImageTransitionSelector}" Content="{Binding ImageCartView}" Panel.ZIndex="100" Margin="10,0,10,0"/> But that did nothing as well... Is there something I'm missing here? Till then, I'll just use the static image without the transition presenter. Thanks for any help!
