Joy2Key Profiles for specific Games within in an Emulator and so on?

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

is there an option to get joy2key profiles within Launchbox or can Launchbox handle joy2key profiles for specific games like Rocketlauncher it does?

Doesn't want to get Launchbox plus thousands of additional Applications, then there where no real benefits against my actual HS Setup.

Thanks

Now that we got a frontend that will work fine assigning gamepad/joystic inputs i cant find any use for you to key. game exit can also be done without joy to key. theres key automation or something like that in settings for lb.

I have not done this myself but I would imagine you could use the "Additional Apps" feature in Launchbox to pass commands to joy2key or xpadder.

Hi Chris, youd have to create a joy to key profile for each game in that case. add it as an additional app and point it to that particular joy2key profile

Yes, BigBox can do this. Just use Joy2Key to create a profile that will suit the game controls you need and via Launchbox set it things up to run the Joy2Key application + profile before the game launches. I've done this on many games and seems to work well, including using Joy2Key to let me use my joystick as a mouse for some Steam games.
