Tempted by Witcher 3. Even though I have it and played it to death on my PS4 I would like to have it on my PC and see and play at 4k.

Dragon's Dogma at 60% off is also tempting me.

And of course there's a bunch of SNK classics on sale.

But one that's really tempting me is the Raiden package. 6 Raiden games for slightly over a buck a game.

If you have only played the Witcher 3 main game, then Blood and Wine is well worth getting it's a great expansion. And if you have the hardware it looks gorgeous on PC.

Played all the DLC's. Really the only thing I'd want it for is what you say, the pretty graphics. Tempting.

Ah fair enough then, yeah it's gorgeous on PC, i only have a gtx 770, but i run it maxed at 1080p and lock the frame rate to 30fps, which is all it is on consoles anyway, but it looks waaayy better.

If you've got beefy enough hardware to run TW3 maxed out... hoo boy it's a pretty game.

Dragon's Dogma is sooo good. I loved it even on PS3 where it had a lot of technical problems - all of which are completely gone in the PC port. I'd already beaten it on PS3 but I put another 115 hours into the PC version. Really great and really underrated in my opinion. Hopefully we'll get a sequel some day.

I love Raiden, but I wasn't too thrilled by the reviews of Raiden Legacy. I'd rather play the arcade versions in MAME. It's not a money thing - I just don't see the point in playing a bad port when I can play the original and it be great.

If you've never played Dragon's Dogma that'd be my recommendation. It's got a big world to explore (with tons of secrets) with some interesting lore. The combat is really great and there's a wide range of classes which you can switch between to find one that works best for your preferred playstyle (and they're all really good). It's one of the few games that actually makes magic seem as incredibly powerful as it should - summoning giant meteors or tornadoes is pretty awe-inspiring. You can even climb around on the larger monsters ala Shadow of the Colossus and go all stabby stabby on them. The pawn system is neat - it lets you create a follower character that you can customize and equip as you see fit and you can then recruit up to two other pawns that were created by other players. It lets you custom tailor your crew as you see fit. The game gives you a lot of freedom - freedom to go where you want, do what you want, and play the way you want to play. Bitterblack Isle is the expansion content that came with the Dark Arisen version and it's great. It's a multi-level labyrinthine dungeon with some really tough enemies - it's basically the "end-game" content and it's awesome. Just don't go there until you're very well equipped - even if you're wiping out the normal enemies near the end of the game with ease you can have some trouble in Bitterblack Isle.

Highly highly recommended.

I didn't realize Dragon's Dogma would run in 4k

Pretty much any game will run in 4K if windows know's it is plugged into a 4K display. Hell i only have a 1080p TV but can run older games at 4K and it get's downsampled to my 1080p TV

I made another pass and added a few more games - Imperium Galactica II (my favorite 4x game of all time), Darksiders, and Darkest Dungeon.

would have added Darksiders II but apparently the "Deathfinitive Edition" (which seems to be the only version you can get digitally at this point) is kindof buggy. I haven't played that version so I can't recommend it in earnest. What I can say is that the original version of Darksiders II is fantastic. Darksiders is good, but Darksiders II is great. I've got the "Deathfinitive" version on Steam in addition to the normal one (they gave it out for free to preexisting owners) but I haven't actually tried it - guess I'll have to check it out. It'd be a shame if the bugs were as significant as some are claiming because it really is a great game.

LOL, OK i am actually going to disagree with you there @Zombeaver i much preferred the first game personally. I also got the remastered version free on steam, and it's a great version of a great game. If you haven't played it @Patham it's a really violent Zelda clone with God of War style combat, highly recommended.

The remastered version of the first game is apparently okay. It's the second one that's supposedly buggy.

Also, no, no way on the first one being better haha. 2 has a bigger world and a loot system ala Diablo. Way more weapons and equipment to mess around with. To me, the second game does everything the first does except better and bigger.

Yeah the first game remaster is totally fine, it's not really a remaster per se as it was good on pc originally, the console versions are remasters cause they were 720p 30fps, the PC was always a good version. I didn't really like the Diablo aspect of the sequel to be honest with you, something about it just didn't jive with me. Maybe i should go back and have a look, as since then i bought Diablo 3 on PC, which was my first Diablo and actually really quite enjoyed it. :)

We have talked about this before, but bigger isn't always better. ;) That's why the first Batman is my favourite it's just more focused with less fluff.

I love action RPGs like Diablo, Grim Dawn, Sacred, Torchlight, Titan Quest, Path of Exile, etc. so I'm all about the loot haha.  I thought it was a great fit in Darksiders II, but again I'm predisposed to like it.

Speaking of which, some of those games are on sale so I'll add those too.

Yeah, despite my age i actually got into PC games very late, i was always a console kid. We never even owned a PC until i was probably 25 ish, so a lot of those "classic" loot games were never on my radar unless they came to console, which they hardly ever did.

I've been into the genre since Diablo 2. If I'm being honest, that's probably my favorite genre. In terms of sheer hours of games played, it would most definitely be at the top. I made the mistake of calculating my total hours in Diablo 3 a while back (they break it down per-class) and it was something like 1200 hours O.o
