yep here it is, the video that made me get a marquee screen

DAMMIT!!!!! this makes me want the room to build an arcade cabinet even more. Currently my game computer is hooked up to our TV in the family room and I use that to play all my games. I need to convince my wife to let me use our small linen closet to place a standup arcade cabinet.

Yes I know the feeling, once Marquee-fever hit me I transformed an entire room for it, there is no way back for you now bro haha ;)

Honestly once we find a new house with a basement it will be easier to build a home theater room and game spot. The wife gave me permission to do what I want with the basement if we ever find one. All she's asked for is a room for herself. Where we live now I just don't have the room for any kind of cabinet system.

A basement is a dream I wont be able to ever fullfill, as we hardly have basements in my country. Thats even cooler man!

Update of the (finally finished) room where I play and work on all the projects, no more desk and office chair, been sitting on those for almost 20 years, time for something new. Tried to catch every detail, 20 photos should be enough :D  It's more than a game room it's a bit of a time capsule of past century things I love. I do have to remove some dust though lol Well that's it all in all.5591772_GameRoom-01.thumb.jpg.9ac26939a322f9bef09622c41ad39df1.jpg1556379178_GameRoom-02.thumb.jpg.13df124662a3ce72520ebb582b0f9211.jpg729143654_GameRoom-03.thumb.jpg.b023815c0aa211421b0943845f078042.jpg1163176457_GameRoom-04.thumb.jpg.1413fde52698380aaceeccda529106ed.jpg865700557_GameRoom-05.thumb.jpg.ca9b4f6ca45f4167df483322706c84f2.jpg951105334_GameRoom-06.thumb.jpg.df4268f332799cb6c4a1c8194c266434.jpg353690922_GameRoom-07.thumb.jpg.6aa737d2a2dc350960ec77400d887306.jpg703839307_GameRoom-08.thumb.jpg.6392ecd2fdc32346341a1db8f138b70d.jpg316079812_GameRoom-09.thumb.jpg.d030a1ead43db5fb96f7b1c44e7f4103.jpg1470462289_GameRoom-10.thumb.jpg.dc50f11f35ed26d4cd2d4c4a2abc4d7b.jpg93210388_GameRoom-11.thumb.jpg.0e0cbaa994bb37ac6ba9398eb91edcf6.jpg25778976_GameRoom-12.thumb.jpg.7861723bae4c4475ecc9b29da50b1db6.jpg1067096807_GameRoom-13.thumb.jpg.21ca5c0086527c0b54b1ddb24d9be83b.jpg835932599_GameRoom-14.thumb.jpg.572f88be25cc2e03a550e1c55180899d.jpg521223497_GameRoom-15.thumb.jpg.e7f14db73296d59bb487f7f1b0c79dc6.jpg35945454_GameRoom-16.thumb.jpg.1ce7989ece83b0fbe6d5cd0af3054b0f.jpg1841261536_GameRoom-17.thumb.jpg.de6bd28fa3f0bab7cf1e56e7c444d1c1.jpg296308019_GameRoom-18.thumb.jpg.5f4349e76adef513defdf0d2fdd808a4.jpg1196763814_GameRoom-19.thumb.jpg.997ab8cb056c20ec89c67ab13b6ce30b.jpg

What an awesome setup. I did some googling after seeing your marquee setup and found there is a way to get a custom lcd screen that is the size of an arcade marquee. But it costs a bit.

Thanks man :) Yeah you do need quite a bit of cash if you're going custom/bar display marquee monitor. The monitor I use is quite cheap compared to those and the image quality is very good, still surprised by it's quality actually. I saw an article about the upcoming foldable oled screens, these can be rolled up, theoratically (excuse my english lol) if these can adjust themselfs to display only screens without black borders top or bottom by rolling down and move the display to the top then you'll be really able to size the screen to the marquee, not cheap either but interesting thought.

Could you post a link to the arcade marquee size custom LCD screen that you found?

Is this in honor of Gustav Doré ? or are you an Emperor Fanatic (like me)
Third option could be you found this in a fancy bible and thought it looked cool ;)

Although I love metal music I just love that old gothic/mythology stuff and that was the reason I bought the poster ;) I had a feeling it was biblical yep, its about the apocalypse indeed. I have a thing for these old line drawings, so much detail in em and the way they draw shadows with line patterns, epic art!

I understand. Gustav Doré (the artist of the drawing) illustrated many books in the 19th century. I own an early 20th century print of Paradise Lost with Illustartion by Doré. awesome stuff.

I’ve never seen a setup that looks this professional. Surely you spent quite some time and money. It’s a good thing you have enough space for all your gadgets. I’m new to gaming and I’m trying to build my own setup. I’m excited because I got a second monitor, but I’ve been looking for a larger desk and a chair. My old chair is too hard and my posture is not the best. I found a few chairs here https://eurekaergonomic.com/gaming-chairs/ but the site doesn’t have enough reviews, so I’m still searching. I’m looking on forums for personal experiences from gamers that know which chairs are better. Your chair looks great. Could you tell me where did you get it from?
