The PDF reader

The built in reader doesn't quite work that way. However, try this tutorial, which uses SumatraPDF. I tried it with pdf and a few other formats including comic books and it's running smoothly :)

I believe it does use the controller but I also believe the OP wants to use it to open magazines and not just the manuals which are the only thing it supports if I'm remembering correctly

Thank you for your reply. I use cdisplayex as my pdf viewer and was going to replace whatever LB uses through a dirty rename substitute. This is better though.
