How to find out what version MAME set i have to import to launchbox

Hi There

I have already imported my MAME rom set on to launch box but it went funny so I’ve deleted it except for the media so it won’t take long to put back onto launch box.

But since then there has been an update and you can now put a complete MAME rom set on there and it asks you which version you have and I don’t know.

All the games work within MAME and there’s no problem with the MAME emulator.

The only solution I can think of is that I should import them as MAME Without using their import full MAME rom set option just like other imports.

Any suggestions?

thank you in advance

In Windows Explorer, navigate to where your MAME emulator it located.  Double-click mame.exe to open the emulator.  The window title and (better yet) on the top middle of MAME's window will say what version it is.
